If I leave the house it is usually no more than 5 or 6 hours at a time. About: I have a lot of experience with pets, specifically dogs, as I’ve had pets my whole life and really love them. I’ve had both puppies and older dogs so I have experience taking care of both. Besides my own dogs I have dog sat for neighbors multiple times and other family members and find spending time with these dogs to be very enjoyable! I also have a lot of experience dealing with multiple dogs at once as, for most of my life, I’ve had multiple dogs and have dog sat for people that have multiple dogs. I am very comfortable with all kinds of pets! I’m currently working part-time from about 9am-4pm but have plenty of time after this to take care of pets. My weekends are also often free! About: I’ve been working with animals since I was 9 years old. I’ve taken care of family pets, neighbors, and I’ve even run my own pet sitting business for a while. I’m going to school to become a veterinarian, so I get my fair share of animal handling weekly. I’m currently a student athlete at UW-River Falls, so I’m free in between classes as well as after practices for my sport. It all depends on my weekly plan administered by my coach. I make sure the pet is able to become familiar with me in a gentle way and I do my best to make sure that the pet is happy and comfortable whenever I’m around. Most have been middle size dogs - lab mixes, etc. I have experience with taking care of all size of pets though.I also walked dogs at a local humane society until I adopted my own bundle of joy!
