“Christopher and Grace were so kind, caring for my dogs like their own. They sent regular reports and pictures and were fast to respond when I reached out. I have no doubt that my pups were well cared for and pampered while in their care, and I’m so grateful!”

“Susan was wonderful! She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures and videos, and Murphy was in good spirits when I picked him up. I would definitely book with her the next time I need someone to watch Murphy. Thank you Susan!”

“Megan watched my dog Bentley over the 4th of July weekend for the first time. She was flexible and responsive even though my booking was short notice. She stayed in communication during his stay and sent me picture and video updates while he was with her. Bentley enjoyed his time with her and her dog Bear. I would definitely book her again.”

“McKenna is an absolutely fantastic sitter!! She was so communicative and kind about the entire process (especially as someone who is very nervous leaving her pets!) I will 100% book again, I felt very comfortable the entire time. I almost worry my dog had a better time with her than with me!! Hahaha”

“Lawrence was great! He gave my doggo a ton of love and attention. She didn’t even greet me when she came home because she had so much fun! He definitely spoiled her with walks and love. He even bought her a new toy and some goodies to eat. I will definitely be a returning customer. He updated me constantly and she loved him and his family. She felt right at home. There were no other dogs as well, so she got all the love!”

About: I’ve loved dogs forever but didn’t started caring for any until we got our first family dog when I was about 6 years old. Since then, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family; but I’m excited to expand my horizons! I have class M, W, F in the am, but other than that my schedule it totally flexible! Other than the occasional trip home to Texas, I am pretty much always available. My roommate has one female dog that is neutered and crate trained. I have a fenced in balcony with turf and a very nice dog park in my neighborhood. I would love to take your dog(s) on fun long walks to the park or even in the trails down by my house.
“I was so happy to meet Joe and his girl Ace. Ginger seem at home. What was an even bigger relief was that Newt wasn't in hiding. We received a picture of Newt and Ace very casually in each other presence. Thank you Joe for taking care of our babies.”

“Ty was great! During our meet and greet my boxer took to him immediately! My dog stayed with him for two days and came back to me as happy as when I left him. Ty was accommodating, informative, responsive and knowledgeable! I will 100% rebook with Ty in the near future!”

“Aly did amazing taking care of Rossi. She was amazing with communication. She updated me throughout each day with pictures and was very understanding since Rossi isn’t used to being boarded. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Aly!”

I am available for pet sitting, walking and boarding of both cats and dogs 7 days a week during the summer months. I get up when they do, or can come ‘round in the morning to play with them or take them on walks, feed etc. Depending on your needs I can be more active or more hands off with their schedule. Doors of clients homes with be locked to their specifications, entry and exit of the home will be on their given schedule, animals will be secured with all equipment provided (collar types/harnesses/etc) and I promise to be vigilant and aware with their animal at all times.
About: Been an animal lover all my life. Unfortunately I've developed an allergy to cats but most dogs I do well with. I've worked in grooming and an animal hospital in the past. My daughter and I love sitting fur babies for our friends and family. My schedule is pretty open as I work part-time time and remote. If we could we'd have a house full of animals, which is why I'm eager to get to know and spend time with yours. A mini vaca away, with lots of love, from our family to yours. I'm mostly open, work part time. Would prefer boarding with me over house sitting, depending on the breed. But which ever you fancy. If you have a breed my allergies don't tolerate very well, house sitting would be the best option. But I also have other hosting options like two separate garages, one that is dedicated to the dogs. With fans and heaters depending on the season as well as a big fenced in backyard. We can discuss schedule/routine that works best for you and your fur baby, to meet their needs. I'm responsive and operate with complete transparency if any issues arise to foster a safe and trusting atmosphere for a positive experience. Assuring you peace of mind and to build a good shared experience for everyone evolved. We have a spacious home with large fenced in yard and two dogs of our own (who are treated and up to date with all their veterinary visits), to play and keep your fur baby company. One of mine in particular is very accustomed to socializing with others from doggie daycare, as he used to go as a pup. I can also easily keep our dogs separate upon request, and crate any fur baby if needed. A bit OCD so I keep a neat, clean, tidy home so you can be assured a clean and safe environment for your pets stay. We have two separate garages, one dedicated to the dogs. As well as doggie Gates for large or small dogs. So there are multiple options to suit a variety of situations.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Strickler home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Strickler.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Strickler sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
