About: Hi my names Amadi. Thanks for taking a second to check out my profile! I have a little over 15 years of experience in training dogs, helping with socialization skills, and general caretaking. Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

About: Very loving and passionate about fur babies! We own a personal farm whom we take love and compassion to care for them! I have experience with home pets along with outside pets. i am a very active women who can keep up with any active pet. Looking forward to meeting new lovely fur babies! Available during the day, Monday through Friday. Can do some evenings and will also be available weekends depending on times client want the service done. Prefer to care in clients home, although could do at my house. We do own some land where they could roam while potty but as stated before, prefer to go in clients home.

About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

About: I have a few dogs at my house already but I've also been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at rescues. My family also has many pets and farm animals I help take care of these include fish, hamsters, and budgies. I'm currently in college right now studying life science but I have plenty of free time. During that time I'd like to take care of animals. I like to take care of your pets however you like them taken care of. I'll wake up early for morning walks or stay up late to clean up after them.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. As my schedules always changing, my availability will always be changing so I will try to keep that up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I’m really looking forward to all the snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! About: I’ve grown up around animals and had several throughout the last 33 years. I really only have experience with dogs and cats, I currently have 5 cats and 2 dog. As a pet caretaker with a flexible schedule, I can easily adapt my day around each pet’s needs. I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
