“Kali always does an amazing job! My dogs get excited to see her. Kali is thorough and always is on time. I appreciate having someone I can always trust with my girls.”

About: Providing care to all of Lake Country area! I provide attentive and loving care for your furry friends, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I go above and beyond to follow your pet’s routine, offer personalized attention, and create a fun, engaging environment. Your pets are treated like family, and I take pride in making sure they are well-fed, exercised, and showered with affection. With me, you can have complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in the best hands. I have two dogs of my own, a corgi 8 years and a lab, pit bull mix 10 years old. We walk daily and are the happiest babies I know. I want to give love to more animals and care for them the way I care for mine. My daily routine is active and flexible, which means your pup gets plenty of walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I love being outside and staying on a consistent schedule—perfect for keeping dogs happy and cared for! Caring for pets, whether in your own home or a client’s home, involves a combination of regular attention, proper feeding, exercise, grooming, and emotional care. Here’s a breakdown of how I might approach pet care depending on the service I offer: 1. Pet Sitting (In Client’s Home or Own Home) • Feeding: Follow the pet’s regular feeding schedule and adjust based on dietary needs or special instructions from the owner. • Exercise: Ensure that pets get enough physical activity through walks, playtime, or other engaging activities. • Grooming: Brush pets regularly to maintain their coat and avoid matting (especially for long-haired breeds). Bathe them as needed, depending on the breed and the owner’s preferences. • Health & Safety: Monitor the pet’s health for any changes, such as a decrease in appetite, lethargy, or signs of illness. Administer any medications as directed by the owner. • Companionship: Provide attention, playtime, and comfort to ensure the pet doesn’t feel lonely or anxious. This might include cuddling, talking to them, or simply being around. • Cleaning: Ensure the pet’s living environment is clean, including regularly changing litter boxes for cats or cleaning up after dogs. 2. Dog Walking • Exercise: Provide regular walks to ensure that the pet gets the necessary physical and mental stimulation. The duration and intensity of the walk depend on the breed, age, and health of the dog. • Safety: Ensure the dog is safe during walks by using a sturdy leash, avoiding busy traffic areas, and monitoring for any signs of discomfort. • Playtime: If there is time, include some interactive play (e.g., fetch or tug-of-war) during the walk to engage the dog mentally. 3. Pet Boarding (In Your Home) • Comfort: Provide a safe, comfortable space with a designated sleeping area, food, and water station. • Socialization: If appropriate, allow pets to socialize with other animals (especially if they are accustomed to it). • Routine: Keep the pet on a similar routine as they would have at home, with regular meals, walks, and bathroom breaks. 4. General Tips for Pet Care • Communication: Keep the pet owner updated regularly on their pet’s well-being, sharing any observations, concerns, or funny moments. • Emergency Preparedness: Know where the nearest vet is and be prepared for any emergencies, including having a list of the pet’s medical details and contact information. By focusing on the pet’s specific needs and preferences, both physical and emotional, I can ensure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for.

About: As of recent, I no longer have any pets of my own full-time and will enjoy getting to spend time with yours! I have had pets almost all of my life, and always more than one at a time. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, small indoor pets, and birds. I also provide care for chickens, and feeding care for horses, goats, and sheep. For the past 8 years I have done overnight, extended stay pet sitting, drop in care, and boarding in my home for dogs or small animals who come with their home (for example guinea pigs). I can also provide transportation and care for animals attending special occasions or wanted as a part of photos (for example at a wedding). I have experience giving both oral and injected medications to dogs and cats. I work full time 8:30 - 4:30 but do work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can provide care before and after work as well as during the days when I work from home. I am also free most weekends. Because all animals are different, my first priority is to provide the type of care and services specific to their individual needs. I do have a large yard, but it is not fenced in. I love to go on walks / hikes with dogs.

About: I’ve had a dog for the past 7 years and love taking him on walks and playing with him! I occasionally am called on to play and take care of dogs around the neighborhood for people out of town. I also provide regular updates, photos, and am always available to answer questions and special requests. I am currently unemployed and am available almost any day and time of the week while I am finishing up the last part of my flight training. I always make sure your dog feels loved, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I do this by treating your dog with the same attention, respect, and space I give my own dog. I follow all instructions very carefully and keep routines consistent to reduce stress.

About: I’ve grew up with dogs that had big personalities and have taken care of them since I was young. I’ve seen it all—from detailed food and medication schedules to super high energy play time! I’m a work from home photographer and part time nanny, so my weekdays and weekends are flexible for some good walking. I love getting outside and going for walks, and doing it with a buddy is even better! I’m used to frequent stops with my own pup, so whatever yours needs, I’ll be ready for it. I will watch your pup closely to make sure that nothing gets out of hand in your household. I can crate a pup if need be!

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was 9 years old. I’ve taken care of family pets, neighbors, and I’ve even run my own pet sitting business for a while. I’m going to school to become a veterinarian, so I get my fair share of animal handling weekly. I’m currently a student athlete at UW-River Falls, so I’m free in between classes as well as after practices for my sport. It all depends on my weekly plan administered by my coach. I make sure the pet is able to become familiar with me in a gentle way and I do my best to make sure that the pet is happy and comfortable whenever I’m around. I will happily play for as long as needed with your pet and do whatever is necessary for them!

About: At a young age i was brought to America from russia ; I instantly fell in love with my family pet Toby. She was a black lab mixed with Australian shepherd. I didn't speak english very well but Toby made me feel I was understood and this is where I found my love for animals. Few years later our next door neighbor gave us a cat and she was pregnant. 6 kittens later and out of 6 I managed to convince my parents to keep 4. A year later I found another cat in out country yard and kept her as well. Having 1 dog and 5 cats was a big task but I loved it. I currently have a very needy loving bulldog named merlin who loves all the attention from his mama. Merlins enjoy of life are sitting on his mama's lap and wanting to play as soon as he's had his maybe 3 nap in by 12pm after the well deserved nap merlin is all ready to use his energy on running, jumping, and giving kisses. My cat Ripley was going to be put down since she was at the pet shop for over a year. She wasn't wanted because she wasn't friendly towards everyone. She was as described as she was selective of who she'd come down her shelf for. My family visited her frequently and eventually I decided to adopte her. I offer to watch my apt neighbors dogs and any friends that ask me to watch their animals. I would love to get to meet your pet/s and give them attention when your away untill your return back. I take care of merlin ( English bulldog), Ripley (maine coon), 2 Russian tortoises( 8 yrs I've had them, probably will be passed down to my future husbands kids) , a hamster( had him for 3 yrs now ). I love sharing my attention to all the animals that I have and meet. I look forward to providing the best care for your pet/s while you are busy making money for the Biscuits or take a well deserved break from the every day to day. I currently can not pet sit at my apartment for a long period of time. I have occasionally watched a dog for a weekend but with prior meet/ greet and making sure my dog gets along with your pet/s. Im more then happy to watch your pet/s at your home. I'm comfortable walking your pet/s,feeding, treats, and play time indoors or outdoor. I don't prefer to give medication. If given directions and your pet/s has been on it and no emergency symptoms I can on request give medication. I do have a experience giving baths to kittens to dogs with some guidance of what your preferences are going about it im more then happy to do this service. I'm very flexible with my hours for the most part and with communication I'm glad to help out any way ; while your away from your pet/s.
