About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. About: At a young age i was brought to America from russia ; I instantly fell in love with my family pet Toby. She was a black lab mixed with Australian shepherd. I didn't speak english very well but Toby made me feel I was understood and this is where I found my love for animals. Few years later our next door neighbor gave us a cat and she was pregnant. 6 kittens later and out of 6 I managed to convince my parents to keep 4. A year later I found another cat in out country yard and kept her as well. Having 1 dog and 5 cats was a big task but I loved it. I currently have a very needy loving bulldog named merlin who loves all the attention from his mama. Merlins enjoy of life are sitting on his mama's lap and wanting to play as soon as he's had his maybe 3 nap in by 12pm after the well deserved nap merlin is all ready to use his energy on running, jumping, and giving kisses. My cat Ripley was going to be put down since she was at the pet shop for over a year. She wasn't wanted because she wasn't friendly towards everyone. She was as described as she was selective of who she'd come down her shelf for. My family visited her frequently and eventually I decided to adopte her. I offer to watch my apt neighbors dogs and any friends that ask me to watch their animals. I would love to get to meet your pet/s and give them attention when your away untill your return back. I take care of merlin ( English bulldog), Ripley (maine coon), 2 Russian tortoises( 8 yrs I've had them, probably will be passed down to my future husbands kids) , a hamster( had him for 3 yrs now ). About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.

“Michelle was great! Super friendly and accommodating. Her communication was great. She sent a lot of pics and updates. She was also willing to help with giving one of our pups some medication, that came up the night before we dropped them off. She has a fenced in yard and other dogs to play with our pups! I would recommend Michelle to anyone in the area. Definitely someone that we will be going back to. :)”
