About: Im here to help offer the most relaxing experience for your animal. Also to assure that your animal feels at home and is getting the personal care that each individual animal needs. I do have 2 loving animals, a golden retriever and a corgi here in the home. There is always a family member here on the property full time. I have a large property for the animals to roam and a large section of it is fenced in. I love going on walks and doing outdoor activities and hope you choose to let your animals have a fun experience with our family. 😁 I run a business from the home. I'm always here and have lot of time to play catch! We're available for holidays and extended stays! I have a large fenced in yard with two loving dogs that love to play with other puppies. I live in a quiet subdivision in the country with lots of trees, grass and fresh air. If your animal feels more comfortable in a crate, I do have those options, but would prefer them to be able to roam free in the household.

About: I have taken care of a large poodle for a few weeks multiple times a year. I had to feed once a day and let outside. In addition, I have taken care of 3 dogs feeding them once a day. I have taken care of a cat and dog, cleaning the litter boxes and letting the dog out. Lastly, I have house sat/dog sat for an older dog that got fed twice a day. I have experience in house sitting for long periods while animals are present. On the other hand, I have a lot of experience farm and house sitting. This can sometimes include taking care of horses in addition to farm dogs and cats or just house sitting with an animal present. Since I am a college student, I have days that are busier than others, but I am always open to different schedules. My times won’t be the exact time everyday, but I can make it out to the animal everyday. I currently am a senior at Asbury University studying equine studies. I have always had a passion for animals and I would love to get more time helping others with their pets. I think animals are a beautiful creation and they deserve our love and care.

I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, I love playing, walking and just handing out with them! Also i know the hardships it takes. I am a very available person, I do have a part time job but other than that I’m very free. I usually work a few hours every other day. I love going on runs which I enjoy very much to take a dog on, this could be a short walk or a hike! About: I am a dog mom of two! They are my world, but I have never met an animal I didn’t like!! Small or big they are all special and need love!! I work as a caregiver in the evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30-10 and Friday 3:30-8. So I am available all other hours of the day. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
