About: I have bathed, walked, fed, and watched many dogs. I’ve taken care of many different breeds and sizes. I’ve owned 4 dogs including a german shepherd and Boykin spaniels. About: Hi, I'm Allie. I have loved and cared for animals since I was 12. I have always dog-sat and walked dogs. In addition, I worked at a local dog store in my hometown called Just Dog People. We sold dog toys, products, food, etc., and clipped and washed dogs. I have worked professionally with dogs for years, and they never fail to put a smile on my face. About: In my 5 years of watching animals, I have found a passion in taking the best care of them and making them feel comfortable in their own homes. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 12 years old! I’ve had experience with both mini poodles and toy poodles, and I currently have both a toy poodle and a mini poodle of my own. Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m currently a college student, so my schedule varies depending on the day, but I have plenty of availability for pet sitting and dog walking. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I’m usually finished with classes around 1 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m usually finished around 5 PM. My weekends are completely open, and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Since I live in a dorm, I’m unable to have pets stay inside with me, but I’d be more than happy to spend the day outside with your pet, take them on walks, play with them, visit a dog park, or give them lots of attention and exercise. Since I live in a college dorm, I’m unable to provide overnight boarding in my own home, but I’m happy to provide dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting at your home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, and follow any specific instructions you leave for me. I’m also happy to keep you updated with pictures and messages while you’re away so you know your pet is doing well.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
