“She tended to my baby while I was at a convention. She did wonderful. Apparently he had a case of an upset digestive problem. She cleaned him up and the mess he made. She is so great and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone who will lovingly take care of your babies. Such a great young woman”

About: Hi there! I’m Charlie — the heart behind Delta Dog Co., here in Mobile, Alabama. Dogs have been one of my greatest passions for as long as I can remember, and caring for them isn’t just a job for me — it’s a calling. I’ve worked in both kennel and veterinary environments, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of canine behavior, training, and communication — especially with working, sporting, and gun dog breeds. I’m trained in canine CPR, experienced in medication administration, and comfortable handling everything from high-energy pups to senior dogs needing gentle care. Whether it’s playtime, structure, or comfort, I tailor each dog’s experience to their unique personality and needs. I currently operate Delta Dog Co. and work as a delivery driver on the side, so I have a flexible schedule built around pet care. I’m available for boarding, daycare, walks, drop-ins, and training throughout the week. Dogs in my care are never left unattended for more than 2-4 hours. I provide a secure, clean, and relaxed home environment where every dog is treated like family. I have experience working in kennel and veterinary settings, so I know how to handle dogs of all temperaments and ensure their wellbeing at all times. Dogs in my care are always supervised during playtime and outdoor activities, and they’re never left unattended for long periods. I’m trained in canine CPR and skilled at reading body language, managing group dynamics, and preventing stress or conflict before it happens. About: 🐾 Welcome to Our Home Away From Home! 🐾 I believe every pet deserves to be treated like family. When your furry friend stays with me, they’ll receive the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own dogs. Building trust with both pets and their owners is the most important part of what I do, and I strive to make every visit safe, fun, and stress-free. I encourage meet-and-greets for new clients whenever possible so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, answer any questions, and make sure everyone is comfortable before their stay. Boarding Boarding takes place in my home, where your pet will be part of our daily life not left alone in a kennel. I stay home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, explore, and burn off energy. My own two dogs love making new friends: * Pumpkin is my “teenager who acts like a senior.” She’s laid-back, sweet, and enjoys relaxing just as much as playing. * Molly is a six-month-old puppy with lots of energy who loves to play and make new friends. Whether your pet enjoys zoomies in the yard or curling up for a nap, I’ll do my best to match their comfort level and routine. Personalized Care Every pet is different, and every family has different expectations. I’ll happily follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, exercise preferences, and any special routines that help your pet feel at home. My goal is to keep their experience as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. You’ll also receive updates and photos, because I know how important it is to know your pet is happy and well cared for. My Experience Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Along with professional experience caring for pets, I grew up helping care for neighborhood pets and family animals. Those experiences taught me that patience, consistency, and genuine love make all the difference. When you book with me, you’re not just finding someone to watch your pet, you’re choosing someone who will welcome them into the family and treat them with the love and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of affection. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet receives the time and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, routines, and exercise while maintaining a clean, secure environment. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, and my two friendly dogs adore other fur babies and enjoy making new friends. I believe in building trust with both pets and their owners through reliable care, patience, and regular updates. 🐾

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, turtles, lizards… basically anything I could get away with bringing home. I have been a pet parent to my cats, Maybell for the last 10 years, and Gia for the last 6. They are precious girls that I love dearly, and I have extensive experience with varieties of dog breeds from working at a boarding and grooming facility! I work full time as a physical therapist during the week days and miss getting to have dogs around to love on! As an outdoors fanatic and someone who seeks movement throughout my days, being an add on walker/per sitter in my free time is a dream job of a way to get to be around the pets I love (but can’t currently have due to a skiddish older cat!) and my passion for taking care of others! I am comfortable with medication dispensing due to previously caring for highly medically complex family pets, as well as extensive time working at a boarding and grooming facility which taught me a myriad of tips for caring for easy and more finicky pets all alike!! I can provide and manage crate care, walking, running, and hiking experiences for your pet during a stay but also as happy to couch potato with your pup!
About: I love animals, growing up I wanted to be veterinarian and would get emotional at the sight of stray animals. I have years of experience sitting the pets of friends, family and neighbors! I will take care of your furry friend like they are one of my own. Right now I have a two kitties and a fish! I am currently in school, but after school- at around 5:30 pm I am available for pet care. I am also free on the weekends! In your home I will feed, play, and give attention to your pet. Let me know what you are most comfortable with boundary wise and I will happily accommodate.
About: I’m 26 years old. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, family friends, etc have all let me pet sit for them while they’re away. This will be my only job, so I’m available mostly all day long unless I’m already house sitting a pet. I prefer to come to the homes of the pet owners as the pet is more comfortable there and I have a big family at home that might be stressful for a pet. I can do anything you need for your pet including scheduled feedings and walks that your pet is already used to, to keep their routine the same. I love to play with them outside in their yard or take them for a walk to get some exercise while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, since I was about to be seven. I took care of my families and neighbors animals. Till I got out of high school. I’m currently looking for a job. But I’m hoping this job will help me rediscover my passion to be a vet tech. Because I put that dream aside for my kids. I have a fenced in yard. I have one furry baby, and two kids. My kids are six and a newborn. So your furry friends will have lots of love.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
