“I did my research and read the good reviews about Melissa & Harlee and I can report they were accurate. It was my Frenchie puppy, Penny’s, first trip away from home at only 4 months old. The care and attention she received was top notch. Since she is still a baby, I wanted the flexibility to spend some time with her every day then return her as needed. Melissa & Harlee were very accommodating. When we showed up, Penny was ready to go without missing a beat. Throughout Penny’s stay, I received updates and some of the cutest, most fun pictures of her adventures. Everyday, when we visited with Penny, she was exhausted from all the fun she had been having. We were beyond satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely use Melissa & Harlee again if we bring Penny on another adventure to Key West.”

About: I’m a long time animal lover! If I see you walking your dog on the street I will most certainly say hello to your dog first! After losing my own good boy after 16 wonderful years, I have a lot of extra love and time to give to yours! Having a familiar, reliable and trustworthy pet sitter is a non-negotiable. I take my responsibility very seriously and will respect your animal and home as if it is my own. I’m available for walks, drops in or boarding. I currently work 4 days a week with flexible hours. I’m available for full time boarding, day time walks or doggy day care Sunday- Mondays. On my work days I’ve available for overnight boarding as my work days have manageable hours. I live in a quiet condominium downtown so all potty breaks require a leashed walk. I don’t have any other animals in the house and have space for a crate if you prefer.

I joke that Reagan and I have separation anxiety from each other, but honestly, leaving him when I travel is just so hard on me. Well, Betsy has put my mind & anxiety at ease! She is incredibly sweet and patient with my rescue, and in turn he trusts her immensely and is beyond comfortable when he is left with her. Her home is his home. She sends about a billion photos, and I never found myself thinking “Gee I wish I knew what Reagan was doing right now.” because of her great communication, which is great because most of the time when I’m out of town, I'm thinking of Reagan. His comfort and happiness is the most important thing to her when he is there, and finding someone that loves him as much as I do is something that I can’t put a price on. If you haven’t booked with Betsy, you’re missing out.”

About: Compassionate Care for Every Paw isn't just my vision; it's my mission statement and belief because your Dog deserves the best. I am a dog lover by nature, having grown up in my later years with a Springer Spinal named Bailey in my late teens and college years. Whether it was playing with Bailey in our yard, taking him on walks, holding/laying down next to him, loving him by giving him proper attention and pets, or simply letting Bailey relax and chill by my side meant the world to me. While Bailey wasn't allowed on furniture in my family's home, he loved to cuddle by my legs/feet and would happily sit on my lap so we could watch TV together; and a lot of nights (Bailey could chose between his brother, sisters, and parents rooms once he was a little older); he even enjoyed sharing my room whether it was in my bed or by my bedside. Bailey and I favorite play moments included throwing and retrieving balls together, our tug of war games and playing with all of his favorite toys together. We were always super excited to see each other and would greet each other with hugs, pets, and joy. Here in Key West, I have found a home and meant a smaller older dog named Jake, who had a playful spirit at heart, allowing fun times playing tug of war. Jake loved toys including chew toys, especially squeaky toys and we simply enjoyed a chilled and relaxed time together as he was an older dog. Jake loved the walks around the Los Salinas grounds here in Key West. Jake was an older dog; so he loved just relaxing with me and my family, however, Bailey and Jake's time eventually came to move on to doggy heaven, and I miss them a bunch. It would be an honor and pleasure to assist in caring for your beloved family member and pet. I only ask for a week notice because I want to make sure I use my off days from my full time job to ensure proper care for your dog; as I get my schedule, I will update my availability as well to take more last minute appointments. I generally work 4 days a week; and work from home the other 3 days, so my schedule is completely open/adjustable on my off days. For me, when I am at your home, I will treat your home with the upmost respect. I will ensure that the dogs have the proper attention and go on any needed walks, potty breaks, etc. I can have fun with the high energy dogs as well as the low energy dogs, and will give the proper attention to whatever activity/energy level the dog needs.

About: I have taken care of pets since I lived with my parents. I love the animals. I have rescued two from the street, looking for a home for them. I’m available T-S . Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I go to classes. but I can work on this if it's after 6-10pm :) :) . I am studying English, and in my free time I would love to work in pet care. I am available from Thursday to Sunday. .

Jenna has very good access to an outdoor play area so if you have a dog that likes to run and play outside Jenna is a good option. About: I have raised puppies and kittens, handled horses, and been a pet sitter for over 7 years now. I have administered medication and keep pets on their potty and feeding schedules. I work mostly from home. I am able to come walk/feed/play with your animals during my lunch hour, I take my own dog out every 1-2 hours and my employer is very kind and would always allow me to leave in an emergency. I believe in fun play time, and long walks and am able to abide by any schedule the owners would like to keep for their pets.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and have had dogs ever since I was little. They are apart of the family and will always treat them like my own I’m currently in nursing school, my schedule is pretty flexible, will only be in school 2 days a week. And am free especially on the weekends. I have a crate at home if needed, and love taking pups on walks. I am flexible with working with people based on their pets needs
