About: I grew up with dogs. My siblings and I were entrusted to take good care of our own dog since we were toddlers to train us to be responsible. I treat dogs as a gentle member of the family, like a child who needs parental love, care, protection and provision. My friends and family fully entrust to me their dogs, to play with them, walk, feed and even groom them. I had experience in taking care from puppy days to senior and sickly days. I owned a small horse farm in Michigan and competed in equestrian speed events for many years before retirement and now I am ready and available to care for your pets! From April-September, I will be in Northern Michigan and from October-April, Fort Myers, Florida. If I am to care for your pet overnight in your home or mine, I will have my well-trained service dog, a mini-Aussie with me. She gets along well with all animals. I have flexibility to care for your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard at my home but animals would be leashed and great care taken to provide a safe environment. I typically walk my own dog 3 times/day so depending on if our dogs get along, I can walk together or separately.
