We’re a dog-loving family offering a comfortable, loving, home-away-from-home experience for your fur babies. My partner and I both share a genuine love for animals, and we want every dog in our care to feel safe, happy, and right at home. We have a spacious 2,500-square-foot home with a finished basement that provides extra room and flexibility for our furry guests. We also have a half-acre yard for outdoor time (currently unfenced, so all outdoor potty breaks are supervised and on leash). Our two resident dogs are Sophia, our 50-pound mixed breed, and Chowder, our 20-pound French bulldog. We understand that every dog has their own personality, preferences, and comfort level, so we take introductions at the dogs’ pace and make sure everyone has space to relax when needed. In our home, your dog is welcome to be part of the family! 🛋️🐶 We’re not a strict, no-furniture household. If your pup loves curling up on the couch, they’re welcome to join us. And if they’re used to sleeping in bed with their humans, they’re welcome to snuggle up with me, too! We want them to enjoy the familiar comforts they love at home. We aim to keep your dog’s routine as consistent as possible, including meals, potty breaks, playtime, rest, and plenty of affection. We’ll follow your instructions and do our best to make their stay as stress-free as possible. We’re also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your best friend is doing while you’re away. ❤️ We know leaving your pet with someone new takes trust. About: Dogs and I understand each other. I've always gotten them and they've always gotten me. Maybe because I grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes, and shared my life with Max, my sweet Cavalier, until he passed. Beyond love and care, I'm good at training and socializing, and dogs respond to my calm, confident leadership. I once cared for a reactive dog who barked at everyone who came near her, and I was the only one who could get her to settle and listen. After a month with a young Portuguese Water Dog, her owners told me she moped after I left. But mostly I think dogs feel good around me because they sense I genuinely care about them. I believe dogs are here to teach us to love and I want every dog to experience great care. For me, good dog care starts with getting to know the dog and the people who love them. I think dogs feel safest when their sitter truly knows them. Before any stay, I like to meet you and your dog, take a short walk together, and learn the little things that make your dog feel at home. That's why every stay begins with a meet and greet. What I offer that's different: - Pick-up and drop-off for longer stays: For stays of a week or more, I'll pick up and drop off your dog anywhere within a 30 minute drive of Dalton, including Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington. One less thing to manage before your trip. My home is calm and quiet, with a large, fully fenced backyard on a peaceful street in Dalton. I work from home, so your dog has company through the day, plus walks, play, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions to the letter so your dog's routine stays as close to home as possible, and you'll get photos and a quick update every day so you can relax and enjoy your trip. Also happy to reinforce any training your dog is working on like leash manners. How I work: Every new client starts with a meet and greet, about 30 minutes with a short walk together, so your dog and I can meet before the stay. It helps make sure we're a great match, and your dog arrives already knowing a friendly face. Boarding in my home is a great fit if your dog: Settles comfortably for stretches after the initial sniffing and cuddles to get used to a new space. I work from home so your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention from morning to evening. I usually walk dogs according to the schedule they are used to. In between, they can hang with me. IFeeding times will also coincide with your instructions. I'm an early riser so you are welcome to drop your dog off (with notice) as early as 7:30 am. I have a large three bedroom home with an huge fenced back yard on a quiet street near trails. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.

About: I have been a volunteer at the Berkshire Humane Society for over a year now working within the kennel and have been trusted with friends and family's dogs throughout my life! I have personally trained both of my large breed pups and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs! <3 I currently work full time Mon-Fri so I have full availability at nights for drop-ins and walks. I have weekends and holidays free for all services! I will always find the best time and place to give your pets what they need. I am not able to bring pets to my apartment, but will gladly give them all the care and attention they need in their home, or out and about!

About: I have had several wonderful experiences caring, walking and looking after dogs. I have several family members as well as family friends with furry friends that they have let me walk and look after while they are away. I love to play and sit in the yard as well as cuddle up spend time with my animals when we're not going for a walk. I don't have any dogs but I do have two lovely indoor cats at home which I make sure have their every need taken care. I do the same with any animals I am taking care of at the time because I know how important these dogs are to me and to the family that they are apart of! If treats or fun playful activities such as fetch are apart of these dog's lives then I love to partake as well! I work part time which leaves plenty of time to look after your pets! I take care of my kitties whenever I am home and leave plenty of toys for them to play with when I’m not home. I can walk and visit dogs and cats at your home or take in a cat at mine. I do have two cats of my own living with me.

About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I worked on a farm in 2023 and the rest of my experience is from dog sitting at clients homes, dog walking, house sitting, etc, as well as my own pets.
