“Karen did a fantastic job caring for our dog with multiple drop ins throughout the weekend. It was quickly evident that Karen has a love for animals and helping others upon first meeting her. She helped make us feel comfortable and confident in her ability to help us out by meeting with us and our dog who is timid and easily fearful. She follows directions well and did well providing all the care requested for our dog including feeding, potty and playtime. Her summary visits were detailed, had many photos and helped keep us up to date on how everything was going. We had no concerns about our dogs well-being as we could tell she was being well taken care of. We would work with Karen again and recommend her for your pet care needs!”

“Taylor is awesome! Couple days before I traveled, she came to my house to meet me and my cat Zorro and we were talking for couple of hours. She is such a sweetheart During the week Taylor was checking on Zorro, she spoiled him just like I would, with lots of love, treats, cuddles and walks. I am so happy my baby was comfortable with Taylor. I can't recommend her enough and will definitely use her services again.”

“Peyton is amazing and went above and beyond for us while we were away for our first family vacation!! She was on point with communication when we or she had a question regarding the dogs, plus she did cleaning outside when we didn't ask her to. With the 6 dogs she had to watch, 5 out of 6 dogs (5 are my MIL dogs) loved her, except 1 of our dogs, Misty, was very stubborn and guarded she was giving us a play by play on how she kept on barking and 24hrs later Misty warmed up and earned Peyton's respect. We would love to have her again in the near future!! :)”

“I am a little late in getting out this review, but in no way was it because I was disinterested or not wanting to do so..On the contrary, I absolutely felt the need to write this because of the loving service I felt my family had received from this Pet Sitter. Our family has 2 pets, a dog(Susy) and a cat(Milu) and like most on this site, we deem them to be our precious little babies. They never have really been away from the family for any great length of time, so finding someone to watch and care for them was very important to us. My family was to be in South America for a week, while I was away from home that same time for my work. I had found a Pet Sitter very close to our home for Susy, but could not find anyone for Milu. After much searching, I realized the Rover website and there found numerous Pet Sitters available for Milu. After much searching, we were able to procure the services of a Sitter on Rover and set the contract. Then, with 1 week before our departure, the contractor informed us that she had to cancel our reservation because of health issues in her immediate family and would not be in the area during the needed time. That really put us in dilemma to find someone in such short time. So we searched the Rover site and found several, but all the family agreed to contact Melissa... There were several things that greatly impressed us about Melissa. First there were the reviews. While there were not many, Melissa's reviews were actually very accurate and factual about the care that our Milu would receive. They spoke of the great love she had for animals, as we all experienced firsthand. As I had mentioned, our babies had not been away from us and Milu is very timid with strangers. So, we were surprised when we actually brought her to Melissa and after Milu s brief inspection of her new abode (Lol), she was right there, on the couch and happy as can be. I know that animals sense our love for them and I was amazed at how comfortable she was at that time. Later photos, which Melissa sent through the week, also confirmed how tranquil our precious niña was. In fact, when I returned a week later for Milu, she went to Melissa, not to me and she actually cried when I took her away. That experience was special to me and I knew then that our family had made the correct decision in choosing Melissa. Another proof to me that Milu was very comfortable there, was how she interacted with Melissa's young son. Normally, she runs and hides from children, but the pictures showed her actively playing with the boy! I have never seen her do this with any other children, but my own. I can think of no other magic that could have done that, but love. Yes, I am and family are so pleased with the decision we made to contract Milu's care with Melissa. I think that anyone who loves their pet would also have the same impressions with Melissa's care. I almost never write reviews, but felt the need to express my thoughts and feelings with this one. Thank you Melissa for taking care of our Milu! And, I actually do think that Milu misses you!!!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Cydni S. Cydni did a phenomenal job with our 3 dogs! She was always sending pictures at every drop-in with a description of how they were doing. Our dogs needed medication daily and she had no problem with giving it, she even paid attention to our picky eater and made sure she attended to his needs. Cydni went above and beyond by getting a package left on the porch out of the rain and tiding up the house for us. We can tell that they received lots of love and care! I would use Cydni again and recommend her to someone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter.”

“Anna is wonderful! My cat, Mitzi, doesn't like to be cared for by sitters. She usually hides from them, but she took an immediate liking to Anna. Mitzi requires a lot of special care. She needs to be cleaned and, additionally, to be gently persuaded to be cleaned everyday, and she let Anna do this for her, which has rarely happened in the past. Also, Anna gives her a lot of affection and attention. She loves what she does, and she will really care for your pet. Mitzi and I can't wait until she comes back!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I can not remember a time in my life that I didn't have a furry friend (or 2) I just really enjoy having them around. Learning their personalities is a challenge sometimes but its a challenge I enjoy. I have experience in most breeds as well. I understand that some dogs need more/less then others. I will follow your friends needs, and your instructions. I am currently a stay at home mom so I can work my schedule around your furry friend and your needs. I am only gone a short time to take my daughter to and from school during the school year. I live in home with a pretty decent sized backyard. I also have 2 huskies of my own who love to have new friends over. If for some reason they do not get along (because just like humans, that can happen) your furry friend will come first and my dogs will go ahead and spend time in their crates. I can also crate your friend if that is what you would like. I have no problem leaving my sliding door open for the dogs to go in and out on their own. I enjoy sitting outside and playing with my dogs, as well as yours. There is also a dog park not too far from me that I would take your friend to if that is something that you would like for me to do. I understand that sometimes dogs need a break from each other as well. They are definitely furry humans when it comes to their needs/wants/feelings. If your friend has a special diet, feeding time, or even a potty schedule I will follow that as well.

About: I have had pets my entire life, so I know exactly what it’s like to take care of them. I have also taken care of cats, dogs, parrots, bunnies, fish, and turtles! Your pets care means a lot to me. I have also dealt with older animals and given pets medication as well. I have two dogs and two cats, so pet care means a lot to me. I am very familiar with how to properly take care of animals. When it comes to taking care of pets, I make sure even during my busy schedules to give them as much love as possible. I always make sure I feed animals the exact amount, and when they are scheduled to get fed. I also make sure to follow every accommodation owners set in place for me to follow.

She has been dropping in on cheddar for the last two years on and off when I need someone and will always rebook her! she shows up on time, is respectable of my home, and sends lots of pics and videos during the visit.”
