About: I’ve had dogs and other various animals since I was a child. My first job in high school was at a pet boarding facility. While working there my love for animals grew. Ive pet sitted on and off since I left the kennel. I married a man who shared that love and we have 5 furbabies of our own! I’m currently a stay at home mom. I have a kindergartner, a 1 year old and 5 adult dogs. I spend my days taking care of my kids and dogs but wouldn’t have it any other way! My kids love playing with animals. If you choose us, we have all the time in the world to love on your babies! I have a few acres of land with a large fenced in back yard. Lots of room to run and play with our own dogs!

About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

About: I’ve loved animals since before I could walk and I’ve spent a lifetime caring for them. Having worked for the CASPCA I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about what it means for our pets to truly thrive and what they need to lead happy healthy lives. Our family treats your pet like they’re our own and make him/her feel right at home. They will spend their days with tons of enrichment activities; daily walks, tons of play time and endless snuggles if they’ll let me and so much more. All interactions with your pets and ours will be closely monitored to ensure everyone’s safety. I will get information from you about your preferences and schedule for your pet so I can mirror that while they are staying in our home. I will do everything possible to make your pet happy and comfortable while you are away!

About: I can't promise your pet(s) won't be spoiled! One level home with a playmate, our 17 yr old Dora, a 15 year old, sweet old aussie shepherd. I am retired and dogs are my passion. I am located in the George's Tavern area of Goochland. I am usually home daily. My schedule is flexible. We have a very large fenced yard. Your dog(s) will have room to explore inside and out. We can discuss any special needs. I have experience with all shapes, sizes and breeds, however, as much as I love them, I cannot handle bigger and stronger breeds; i.e., American bull dogs, pit bulls, great danes and German shepherds to name a few. Your dogs are my daily priority. I can schedule any time daily and I am open to a long-term boarding commitment when I am available. I have an additional smaller fenced area for smaller dogs and puppies. I have customers that found me through other avenues, and have outstanding reviews as I appear to have become Grandma to them. All will provide references. I give lots of time and attention to all dogs giving special loving attention to the aging beauties. They all need lots of love and often need special care.

We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”
