About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.

About: I have been a pet-owner since I was ten years old. I used to do campground pet care from age 10-13. I am pretty great at bonding with animals, getting to be their friend, and helping them get the exercise and attention they need! I love animals that come in all shapes and sizes and I am confident that I will be a great companion for your pet in any way that they need. I love to spend time in the park with my own pets, letting them splash in the creek, playing fetch, running with them, and showing them some good old-fashioned love. Our pets are too often overlooked and Rover is a great opportunity to for your pet to get some love too! I’m currently pursuing my online degree in Recreational Tourism Management and using River as an opportunity to make money on the side! My schedule is virtually open! I have 2 cats of my own, and a family dog—a doberman—so boarding in my own home isn’t terribly ideal for me. I am however very flexible with coming to clients’ homes and giving their pets all the attention they need!

About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. I have my own dog and I can have them hang out or she can stay at home just as easily!! I care for all pets in my home and in others the same way, with love and respect. About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. My days are generally grouped together but letting pets out or walking are both doable! I can do overnights and watch for periods of time it will just depend on my schedule. I always want to respect the animal and let them come to me to meet and get to know me first. I love to play fetch or with whatever toys they like.

About: Hi! I grew up on the beaches of Florida and spent some summers at my grandparents' farm where I learned to care for different animals including animals with special needs. I have been caring for all sorts of animals, from dogs, cats, birds, bunnies down to gold fish, for family, friends and neighbors since I was eight years old on and off throughout my life. I have volunteered as a rescue parent and even became a foster fail parent twice. With my personal experience on the farm, rescuing and fostering dogs and cats, I am qualified to care for your pet(s) and provide for their needs (including special medical needs, such as administering medication, if necessary). I am open to caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, even fish tanks while you are gone. I’m an easy-going, person who stays pretty active when I am not pet-sitting. Sometimes I enjoy staying home relaxing with a book and a nice cup of coffee or tea. I currently have two fur kiddos of my own. My Mini Schnauzer Shih-Tzu mix, Luna, and Yorkie Chihuahua mix, Baby Girl, are very chill & friendly in the house, outside, and they love to go for long walks or a short run. About: I currently work at Safe Haven Pet Resort, which means I work with animals almost everyday and I have for 3 years now! I have learned now how to do some training and to be able to read a dogs body language. Being that I do work at Safe Haven, pet care has become a huge part of my life! Working with animals is what I love to do and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have 2 pups of my own so when I am watching your pets they can also have play buddies!
