About: Since I was a child, I have been helping my family and friends pet sit and take care of their dogs! More recently, I help take care of my roommates dog, whenever my roommate is working or out of town! I love to learn all about dogs and figure out how to ensure they live life to the fullest! I currently have a very open schedule! So I can be here for you and your pets pretty much whenever! I am able to work with your own schedule. I will make sure to take all the necessary precautions to ensure your pet is safe and happy! I will try my hardest to accommodate your pets needs as well as your own! If I feel as if I cannot give the best care possible, I will let you know beforehand.

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I am an empty nester and would love to care for your four legged family members while you are away. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

I work Monday-Friday at Sammie’s Friends, but am available after 5pm for short dog/cat sitting. I am available weekends so any trips you want to take I’ve got you and your furry companion covered. I am very attentive and will make sure your pet is cared for and safe. Whether they are high energy and need more play time, or animals who just need some extra TLC.

I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 20 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 14 yr old pup. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and bunnies. I have worked at two animal shelters caring for all kinds of dogs with many different temperaments. I have a wonderful 8 year old dog that I got as a puppy. I took him to training classes and socialized him so I have a lot of experience in this realm. I understand how important it is to provide a safe, loving environment for the animals in our lives. I'm currently in grad school at UVa and have more flexibility right now. I can be over early and stay late depending on your proximity. I am currently only accepting requests in the pets own home, so I trust the pet owners to provide me with the information I need to make sure your pet is safe and happy at home.
