“Nancy was everything we could have hoped for in a dog sitter! In our meet and greet her calm and gentle nature and a few treats quickly had our little anxious Otis warming right up to her. Nancy carefully followed all our instructions and kept Otis in his familiar routines, even allowing him to cozy up on the foot of the bed with her at night. Nancy sent pictures and kept us well informed on how he was doing. She stayed in our home and left everything immaculate! We were really able to relax and not worry knowing Otis was getting so much loving attention. Nancy is a “jewel” and we already have her scheduled for our next longer trip! About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“Dayton is the dog sitter and person we have been hoping for and waiting for. She arrived right on time, and immediately connected with Tuli our German Shepherd. IYKYK how loud and scary a German Shepherd's bark can be when someone new arrives in her/our domain. Dayton was nonplussed, and Tuli felt totally comfortable with her instantaneously. Additionally, Dayton is a very kind, caring person and someone we will from now on ask to care for Tuli.”

“I can definitely say that after being gone for eight days I was very appreciative for what I came back to. I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. There's nothing better then coming back from a vacation with well taken care of dogs. Would definitely recommend for worry free dog sitting”

About: I enjoy having a couple dogs with my little dog in our house. We have a sweet little home in downtown Grass Valley and a great yard. We're right next to memorial Park and we go for walks around town. I'm usually at home spendimg most of my time with my fur family. Gardening and neighborhood walks are what we enjoy the most when not traveling. We have a very calm and easy lifestyle. It's just myself and my 13-year-old terrier mix. We enjoy having another dog or two in the house and going for dog walks. We eat healthy as I fix Coco her own pup loaf
