About: I’ve been in the general field of caretaking for about 6 to 7 years. I was a full time nanny to a family of 7 children and 3 dogs for a few years before I married, and before that, I had multiple families for whom I watched their little ones, including the family dog/dogs. I also did some exclusive pet sitting apart from my previously mentioned work experience. I managed both kids and pets at once. I’ve gotten to know a variety of dog breeds. Growing up, we always had dogs. We’ve had a labradoodle, a few small mixed breeds, and a bernedoodle. Our bernedoodle, Rocco, I trained myself. He is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met and so smart. I taught fun tricks but also some useful ones like how to ring bells to indicate he needed to potty. I have loved being around dogs and having them in my life. We don’t currently have a dog since my two kids are young, so we can’t afford our own pup right now, although we certainly will get one in the future. That’s why I’m so excited to be able to provide other people’s dogs a warm and welcoming home away from home where they will be loved on and feel at ease. I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I’m almost always home. Apart from grocery shopping, minor errands, church on Sundays, or the rare trip to families, we are home all the time. Dogs that stay with us will have pretty much constant companionship and attention. We will be available for drop offs everyday except most of Sunday. Sunday evenings will be open though. Dogs that love a family environment will thrive here. We are usually up for the day around 7:00 am. My son loves dogs and will happily have a full conversation with them. He has grown up around many dogs because my mom has dogs and is a seasoned rover sitter herself. My husband works in the evenings so dogs will probably stay up and hang out with me as we unwind. We have a fenced in backyard so I can sit on our deck and let the dogs run, play, and potty easily and frequently. We live on a very quiet and friendly Cul-de-sac in the mountains of West Virginia, near Winchester. Dogs that come here will have a peaceful stay and have a lot of fun!

About: Hi! Paloma** 🐾 I’ve had dogs for year, three, in fact, over the course of my life. I recently said goodbye to my last pup, and while I’m not ready for a full time dog in my home just yet, I miss it all deeply: the walks, the game of fetch, the pure joy and love only a dog can give. I am not new to dog care, I’ve looked after many dogs over the years, but this is my first time doing it through Rover! I’d love the chance to give your pup some of that same love and attention while you enjoy a vacation, work trip or time away. I treat every dog like my own, patient, attentive, and always up for a good walk or a solid game of fetch. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I work 9-6 hybrid, Monday thru Friday with somedays being fully remote. I am home most weekends and spend my free time walking, doing arts and crafts or gardening. Peace of mind is definitely important when it comes to my fur babies, I know that first hand. I can send check in photos with every walk, treat and meal if that is what you wish. I like to also take them to the dog park in my neighborhood if they play well with others. 3 walks a day minimum will be provided unless more are required. I currently working on building a fence to m a backyard and should be completed but end of September!

“This is our first time to leave our fur baby to a stranger while on vacation. So relieved that we chose Lauren to watch over her while we were on our 10-day vacation. She kept us updated with photos twice a day of her activities. Many of which involves Autumn joining their family outings and adventures. I feel Autumn had a vacation too. Lauren even gave her a bath to het her ready for our pick up day. I am truly thankful for all the love and attention Lauren gave her. Will definitely choose her again.”

About: I have been dog sitting/ walking for several years. The most dogs I have handled at 1 time was 3. I own 2 small dogs myself how ever I have experience handling big dogs as well. I have experience administering medication. I work 4 days on 3 days off so I would love to provide care for your animals on the days I have off! I'm more than happy to help! I can take your dog on daily walks, I love hiking can take a well trained dog with me! i trained my own to go with me, they're great both on and off the leash. About: I have 3 dogs in my family and assist taking care of them on the daily. They are a mixture of breeds and big and small. I have also been dog sitting for various breeds and sizes for an extended amount of time! In addition to our three dogs, there is also a bunny in the family that I assist in caretaking for! I will be completing my Masters in Occupational Therapy this year and am in my last year of school at Ithaca College. I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week and open on most weekends. Looking for some puppy love and to help out when I can! I have a fenced in yard at home that we let my three dogs out in. We have three dogs with vastly different personalities so have ample experience in reading personalities and knowing boundaries for different types and how to step in and correct. Also with having a rabbit, I am experienced with different animal relationships and how they can interact.

“Look no more and read this: Emily went above and beyond when keeping our two dogs for 6 days! There were challenges the that my dogs gave her and she took care of it with no problem at all! She has the greatest attitude ever! She sent us sooo many pictures and updates without us having to even ask. We received a good morning update and multiple photos every morning and goodnight the same as well. This was the first time anyone who wasnt family kept our fur babies and I was anxious! I could not of found a better, more kind and genuine person to leave my dogs with! They were living the life and I know they probably already miss Emily! Her set up is absolutely perfect too! She has extra toys, dog beds and thier own little yard to hang out! Her little dog Peaches is sooo cute and ever so friendly. Emily will be our go to from now on!
