“Gail did an amazing job with our girls. It was the first time they had stayed with anyone while we went away. They were better behaved for her than they are for us. We will definitely book with her again.”

“She listened to the needs of our dog. Followed instructions we gave her for a dog. Our dog was happy and well cared for. Will definitely use her again. Definitely recommend to my friends or family”

“This was my first time using rover.com. Megan was so great! She took in and cared for my pup and grandpup. She updated me on how they were doing and sent photos of them as well. I definitely recommend Megan! I got to focus on family without stressing over their care.”

“We absolutely loved Margaret. She kept us informed about Star on a daily basis. Star looked extremely happy to be there and she also listened to our concerns about her being around other dogs. So glad we had someone we could rely on and we look forward to getting her again in the future.”

“Mafe took amazing care of my fur babies! From the photos she sent, my dogs looked so happy, relaxed, and truly at home. It was clear they were receiving so much love and attention. Mafe and her family were exceptionally kind and gentle with them-I honestly think my dogs were a little upset to leave! I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such a caring environment. I will definitely be using Mafe again. Highly recommend!”

“Monica and her husband were the absolute best!! During our meet and greet I immediately felt comfortable with them. I have had a previous meet and greet experience where I felt uncomfortable within a few minutes and felt pressured to choose that home. Monica let Peyton become comfortable with her and her husband before introducing their fur baby. We stayed long enough to ensure everyone would be a good fit for each other. I received videos and pictures while Peyton was there and I could tell he was receiving plenty of love and cuddles whoch was very important to me. My fur baby did not seem stressed or uncared for when I picked him up. If you want a good home for your fur baby and piece of mind while you are away, I would definitely recommend Monica. You will not regret your choice.”

“We found a jewel in Allison. She was loving to our dog Bailey and I didn’t worry one bit after I met Allison. She had her own dog for Bailey to play with and also a little boy that Bailey clearly loved! I had to go out of town for a drs appointment. It was so nice not to worry about Bailey while she was with Allison. I’ve definitely got a sitter now for Bailey when I have something to do. Thank you Rover and Allison!!”

“Met w/naomi discussed socks particular needs which she took into account and meet his needs without it being a problem. Socks took to her home immediately and was comfortable, he received great care while in her home and I was a 1st time user.”

“Rob was great with our girls. This was an acclimation visit to familiarize. This family is very understanding of special needs & requests. Our pups were well taken care of. We believe we have found our care team.”

“Sara did a great job taking care of our large puppies. She sent about 3 pictures a day which we really enjoyed and looked forward to. She also played outside with our dogs which they loveddd. I would definitely rebook with Sara.”

“Brian was awesome. He sent us pictures of the girls and kept us updated on everything. His daughter is the sweetest, and she was also a big help with our girls. We'll use Brian every time we need to go out of town and can't carry them with us. We loved that they didn't have to be in a kennel. He had plenty of toys and they were able to have him around the whole time because he works from home. Can't say enough good things.”
“I feel so lucky to have found Heather to take care of Mabel, my 17-year-old dachshund! This time, Mabel stayed with her for 10 days at Heather’s home, where she was lovingly cared for, and all her needs were met. As an old lady, Mabel can be a bit sensitive to new surroundings and meeting other dogs, but from the moment we visited with Heather, she felt right at home. Heather was so kind and shared lots of updates throughout Mabel’s stay.”

“Great sitters. I have used them several times. This time, I needed a last-minute booking, and they were quite accommodating. The pictures Jennifer shares always show my dog playing and happy.”

“Thomas and Margaret were absolutely wonderful with our wild rescue and elderly lab. We were worried more about our wild man getting along but she took him right in and assured us he would be fine. Our old girl had an accident we were immediately notified and received updates in case she could have been declining. I know there was cleanup involved and our Zoey was clean as she could be when we picked her up. We received daily check-ins with pictures. Wonderful experience, will re-book!”

About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, I try to match their routine and make things as stress-free as possible. I’m easy to reach, send updates and photos, and I’m always happy to help, even with last-minute plans. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel confident knowing your pet is being well taken care of. I typically work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends so I have plenty of time to tend to the needs of the fur babies. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I can walk your pets as much as you like but I usually walk them 2-4 hours. I have a friendly pup named Yani that will keep your babies company while visiting my home. I’ll treat your pets like family, with love and care!
“Judy watched Bennie for a long weekend while I was out of town and this being the first time I’ve left him with someone for that long, I was nervous. But Judy was incredibly sweet and so was her puppy. Bennie was well taken care of and I got lots of pictures. She has a very nice fenced in yard and lets the dogs come and go as they please. I will definitely be using Judy again!”

About: Hey! I’m Mars, your dog’s new favorite guy 🐶😎 I’m a fun, reliable, and caring dog sitter who treats every pup like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or keeping their routine on track, I make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I know how hard it is to be away from your dog, so I send photo and video updates to keep you smiling and worry-free. Your pup will get plenty of attention, good energy, and tail-wagging fun the whole time we’re together. Your dog won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for like one of my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend 🐕✨ I’m currently working full-time Monday through Friday and I’m off on the weekends so I have plenty of free time to attend to your dog! I have a fence yard and one dog that’s very friendly, but for my preference, my dog will be in a separate area than your dog, because your dog is the number one priority and safety as well I live alone, so your dog is like part of the family, I also recommend you provide your own crate. And provide any special toys that your dog enjoys playing with that will make his/her stay enjoyable.
“Randi is the best!! Henry had the best time with Randi. She took excellent care of him while our family was out of town. She sent pictures and updates every day. We have already rebooked her and I give her 5 Stars plus❤️”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
