If I am at your home, I will aim to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible while the owner is way by keeping a normal routine in their own home environment. I will carefully follow your instructions and communication is very important to me, so I can provide regular updates , photos and check-in to help the owner feel reassured. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they have always been cherished and treated as members of my family. Also have experience looking after my neighbors’ pets while they have been away. I just love dogs so much so it’s not even a chore for me! I work from home 5 days a week, so my schedule is very flexible for afternoon walks or drop ins! Weekend afternoons are also usually good. At my parents home we would always have a fenced in yard and usually keep the dogs on a leash of some sort outside (we have a long one for the yard so they can still run around) For younger dogs we always crate when we’re not around until they are trained!

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
