Kristen was so wonderful to our 14-year old Yorkie. She treated him as her own and he got to spend time running with her fur babies. Tripper was loving all the space to run and explore. We were traveling from out of town and I was so nervous to leave him but she was so reassuring, kind, considerate and sent pics all weekend which allowed us to enjoy watching our son play in Cooperstown knowing out Tripper was in the best hands. Highly recommend her and Mark.

Bob watched our dogs over our wedding weekend and even assisted in our grand plan to have the dogs in the wedding by driving them to the venue and picking them up which was a huge help! He was very responsive and helpful and our dogs seemed very happy and content in his home.

Excellent sitter!! My wife and I have used her many times and will continue to in the future. She is a very nice and responsible person, taking care of any of our dog’s special needs. She keeps us updated on our dogs’ stay and sends lots of pictures to show us how much fun they are having! She is also accommodating to our schedule for dropping off and picking up, making things super convenient for us. Our dogs always love their time with her. We know this because on our walks following their stay, they will pull on the leash to take us to her building haha!

Whitney and Kevin were wonderful! They were great communicators and sent multiple picture updates throughout my dogs stay with them. It was clear that they took great care of him and he looked so happy in all of the photos they sent. I will absolutely use them again in the future!

This lady and her husband are the best kept secret of Rover! My dog has typically refused to eat for the first day or two of boarding, but with Sue, she ate the first night, her tail was high and wagging! She was a happy little camper. I would recommend Sue, without any reservations. She truly cares for her boarded dogs- they do know who loves them. She will always be our first choice!!

We went on vacation, my dog went on vacation. Bottom line. Sarah and Aaron (and family) took amazing care of our pupper and I'm sure she was likely a bit sad as we drove away when picking her up The peace of mind knowing she was taken care of as a full fledge (visiting) family member meant everything to us. No detail was overlooked and she was received with open arms - including an adorable welcome sign for us. We got pictures and updates the whole way through and Sarah and Aaron were super responsive and accommodating even when we made many changes to schedules/drop off pick up times. If you are looking for a situation where your dog will be taken care of and loved as their own - this place is it - you won't go wrong booking with this lovely family.

I found a Blue Ribbon dog sitter in Nicole! She takes my dog Poppy to her house and is very punctual in drop off and return. She says her kids love having Poppy stay with them. I feel absolutely free from any worry and Poppy loves to see me again upon return.

Jenny is super easy to communicate with and flexible! She’s very friendly and I felt my dog was very safe with her. We actually needed to cancel our booking so Daisy only spent a few hours with her but she had already sent us a photo! I will definitely be booking with Jenny in the future.

Jeannys was absolutely amazing. If I could give her more stars I would. She took care of my stray who I found abandoned on the side of the road in the beginning of summer. Molly is a little shy and nervous but she went right with Jeannys and seemed SO comfortable which reassured me. Jeannys constantly updated me with photos and videos! She also took Molly out and about like she was her own dog! I will definitely be using Jeannys for Molly in the future!

About: I grew up with all different types of animals my whole life. I have been a dog mom for 13 years. I am great at walking dogs who have aggression towards other dogs, I know how to find a calm route to take and distract them before conflict arises! I recently lost my 90 lb alapaha blue blood bulldog mix to a terminal illness and am looking forward to spending time with other people's dogs. I am a self employed artist, volunteer, and executive director of a free store that I physically staff on Saturdays, so I have a very flexible schedule. I I will care for your pets with so much attentiveness and love! Just give me a set of instructions and I will show them a great time. I am happy to board as well as make house calls, and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 4 year old foster daughter. We live next to many swimming holes and in a location with greay walkability.

She also has an excellent creek behind her house which I didn’t realize at first! Her dog is friendly and I would definitely book again with her

About: Had a deep soul connection with my cat Marbles for 15 years 🖤🐈‍⬛🌹 I enjoy showing animals comfort and care. Not afraid to get down on the ground and play either :) I’m an intuitive and allow animals their space and time to enjoy nature. I prefer not to rush them but can stay on schedule if need be. Please book a drop-in visit if you’d like an in-person meet and greet. I prefer not to be around cigarettes, vape, artificial scents and harsh chemicals (detergents, dryer sheets, perfumes, candles, air fresheners, harsh chemicals, etc.) These are not healthy for us or our beloved animals ✌️🐾♥️). *Important* my house is temporarily limited at the moment, so for daycare services, I’d prefer to entertain your dog (or cat on a leash) around town, hang out at the lodge or go for a long walk or hike rather than back to my place. If this is an issue, please message me before booking. When messaging please include a “💚” so I know you read this. Thank you! Additionally, please message me if you would like to discuss rates. Thank you 🥰♥️🤗 I’m pretty flexible at the moment; albeit a tad busy also. I do have one other dog that I walk morning and night but we can work around that. If it is an emergency I could probably work something out for home care but right now I’m primarily caring for animals around their own home and neighborhood.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
