About: For three years I owned my own pet boutique business that offered curated items for dog and cat parents! I bring a genuine love for pets combined with hands-on experience tailored to their unique needs. Whether it’s training energetic puppies to follow commands or providing gentle, patient care for senior dogs, I adjust my approach to make every pet feel comfortable and happy. Plus, I’m great at reading their cues and making sure they get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention — because every pet deserves personalized care! When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, loving environment where they can feel relaxed and happy. I stick to their regular routines — feeding, walks, playtime, and rest — to keep things familiar and stress-free. Plenty of toys, comfy spots, and lots of attention help pets feel right at home. If I’m caring for pets in their own home, I treat their space with respect and follow the owner’s instructions closely. About: I'm currently a dog bather/groomer trainee, working with (and loving) dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also have extensive experience with cats, having owned and cared for them throughout my entire life. I've completed a number of veterinary assistant classes and have a basic knowledge of medical care and concerns, canine and feline behaviors, and medication administration. Not only do I interact with a variety of dog breeds at work, but I've also been around dogs in my personal life varying from irish wolfhounds to chihuahuas. I've been obsessed with animals for as long as I can remember, and have loved every minute of experience I've gotten with them whether at work or in my personal life. I would always devote the same level of care, time, and energy to all pets in my care the same as I would with my own. I'm currently working part time, including as a bather/groomer trainee, and have half day availability most days and 2 days off a week to devote to all fur babies! All pets are treated with gentle respect, closely observed and listened to. Any dogs and cats in my care would be allowed ample time to behave naturally, whether that be giving a dog extra time exploring with their nose on walks, or finding out which type of toy best piques a kitty's interest.

“Very reliable, kind, and assuring. Never felt worried about our pup while Kendall was there. Traveled out of town and quickly learned that we could rest easy knowing she would be there on time to give some genuine love to our pup. Very flexible with scheduling and easy to work with. 10/10 dog walker experience.”

Requests for boarding are carefully screened for various safety criteria. We are surrounded by a big irrigation ditch & wonderful trails, which are a lot of fun for swimmers, but obviously comes with responsibility and is not a good fit for all dogs. Dogs will be exposed to ticks, field grass, potential obstacles in the water, other walkers in the area, and light traffic. It is essential that we are all a good match before agreeing to board. Dogs must follow basic commands & have excellent recall despite wildlife distractions. Therefore, we do require a scheduled Meet & Greet with your dog on our property prior to accepting a boarding. I am fluent in raw feeding and animal nutrition, special/prescription diets, and homemade meals. I have medical experience and am comfortable with post-op, injured/recovery, puppies, and a wide variety of holistic modalities. If your buddy is fortunate enough to hang out with my crew, they will quickly become part of our family & enjoy our wide open space & lifestyle- it’s a dog’s dream! Additional services I offer include care coordination, property management, personal assistant, co-hosting vacation rentals, and special needs animal care. We are fortunate to have trails & fields running in several directions from our 5 acre property. We also have a big ditch that follows the trails, which the dogs love to swim & splash in. I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or mine, if nearby. There are excellent walking trails and parks on the west end available to explore. We do not visit dog parks for health & safety reasons. ** Our property is not fenced, therefore, boarding is determined on an individual basis and your animal assessed to ensure a safe stay. ** I'm perfectly content to play & care for your animals according to your schedule and needs. I'll ask for clear instructions from you and that all supplies are readily available for use so we can maximize our bonding time.
