“Stephanie was easy to book and updated us daily with a picture or video of our pup. Our dog, Dax, was well-cared for and came home happy and tired! We wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with Stephanie again.”

“Leaving Luna Belle with Janet was such a blessing. I had so much peace of mind knowing that my pup was in perfect hands. Janet is loving and patient. 100% recommend her boarding and doggy day care services.”

“Emmeli was so sweet and took wonderful care of Sissy! She was incredibly accommodating and flexible with our situation, especially since we don’t live in Billings and needed someone somewhat last minute. She has a beautiful home, and I felt completely comfortable and safe leaving my dog with her. She sent us photo updates and checked in to let us know how Sissy was doing. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their dog!”

“Our Coco Chanel LOVED being with Olivia. She had playmates with Mogli and other pets that Olivia was sitting. This was our first time leaving her for an extended period and were worried that she would be anxious but she totally relaxed by day 2, which also allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We never felt that our fur baby was left with someone that loved and cared for her as much as we do. Will ABSOLUTELY use Olivia's services again! 💞”

About: I grew up with dogs and have always had a dog in my life until recently. My greatest strength is my ability to communicate with dogs. I have reaised puppies and cared for senior dogs through end of life. My best friend, King George (pictured), taught me how to love in ways I did not know were possible, and now I want to pay that forward. No matter your pet's needs, I can provide them. I work part-time from home. My work is extremely flexible, which allows me to give your pet 100% of my attention while under my care. My dog was my son and I always put him first. I will care for your pet as if it is my own child. I have no pets now, so you are guaranteed that your pet will always come first with me. If I watch your pet in your home, I will learn your routines, habits and behaviors so that I can surpassed your expectations in pet care.
“Sara is amazing!! I am a medical traveler/new to the area, and I am beyond thankful I found Sara! My pug LOVED hanging out with Sara and his new furry friends, going on walks/trails, playtime, spending nap time snuggled up, etc. Sara sent many photos with updates and was always quick to respond. I highly recommend Sara and will definitely book with her again. She makes sure you and your furry baby are safe and at ease without hesitation.”

About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I understand that a pet's physical needs are important, but I also know that pet's emotional needs are important. When taking care of your fur-baby, I try to love him/her as much as you do! I never had a dog or cat of my own growing up, which just makes it even more special for me to be able to care for yours as though it is my own. I have been house sitting on and off since college, and am very experienced with keeping other peoples' homes/havens clean and well-kept. I enjoy walking, snuggling, and playing with your dogs, and petting, snuggling (if they allow it ;)), and playing with your cats! I have pets of my own and know just how much love and care they deserve. I have kids and they love animals too! We homeschool and I work from home, so your pet will never be lonely. I'm available to love on and meet your pet's needs when they arise. I want your pet to feel loved and cared for, and will stick to your routine and schedule as much as I can! And make sure they have the lovings they need.

About: Okay, as a cat person… I see a need: where are all the cat babysitters?! Lots of dog lovers out there (I’m one, too), but the cats totally get left behind and they need all the love, too. Am I right? (Hehe.) In steps me. I have provided pet care services for many years for both cats and dogs. I can do drop-ins and dog walking and boarding! For the cat owners: I love my cat soooooo much and I’ve realized it’s kind of hard finding cat people on here to help with as much love as I would give so I wanted to be a person to offer that love and to help with your fur kitties when I can. For cat & dog owners: Pet care has always been a part of my life. Most recently I've cared for a cutie ragamuffin kitty in my home (boarded for a week) and two adult cats (making home visits), boarded another adult cat (a 4-week stay), took care of a younger Vizsla (full-time, while a nanny), stayed overnight in-home with two Dachshunds (one week), and also provided in-home, overnight care to the cutest cat and dog duo (6-night stay), amongst others. In the midst of all this pet care, I rescued my own kitty—Oscar (who has since passed 😞). Now I volunteer at our local animal shelter. Overall, I’m just here to love on some animals and give you some peace of mind that they’re totally in great care. Let me know how I can help out! I look forward to talking to you soon! I work from home full-time which means I can provide lots of attention and snuggles (and outside time for the pups) during the day time. :) I will care for your kitty or dog with every bit of my heart that I use to care for mine. I really do think cats in particular get looked over and if you’re someone like me who wants the best care for them, that’s what I’m here for. Lots of love and catered attention.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
