About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, particularly giant breeds. I love all dogs and want to give them the best chance possible to be healthy and happy! My home has been a foster for many dogs at different times. Taking in dogs in need of medical care, puppies, female dogs going through heat before spay procedures, neglect cases and senior dogs. I’ve seen it all and will do whatever to provide a safe and comfortable place for you pet to relax and adjust. I am home full time with outings that are no more than 2-4 hours for drop in visit. We spend plenty of time snuggling and pulling out any and all of the toys. I have a fenced yard and a permanent crew that enjoy friends to play and nap with. Another bedroom is just for the dogs so if your dog is not crate trained they have their own bedrooms protected solo space for feeding or if for any reason I need to leave the home.

“Jeanette has been so wonderful with our little guy! He’s very nervous and has a lot of behavioral issues, but she has been so patient and kind to him, and he warmed up to her enough that he would let her pick him up and take him on walks. She has really been a blessing!”

About: I have my associates degree in Veterinary Technology! I previously have worked at dog/cat boarding facilities, and vet clinics. I have had dogs, cats, & goats throughout my life! I currently have my dog living with me here in Cedar Rapids, & 2 cats back in Indiana living with my parents. I am comfortable with any size dog & weight. I am also comfortable with medications if necessary! I am a travel agent that works from home. My schedule is extremely flexible! I am very comfortable with whatever your pet needs whether it’s ones who require constant attention & playing for an hour, or ones who prefer to have their own space. Whatever your pet needs I am happy to provide! My dog is spoiled to the max & I ensure your pet will receive the same treatment! I am down for just opening a door to let them out in their backyard, watching their favorite movie from the couch, playing with their toys, or strolls around their neighborhood!

About: I grew up with pets my entire life and have experience with dogs of all ages! We got our dog, Piper as a puppy more than three years ago and has been the most spoiled dog since. Piper is also very good with all dogs and would love to have someone to play with! We have a fenced in yard and LOTS of toys! I have a very flexible schedule! I work from home so I am home all day unless I leave for a short time to go run a couple errands. Our dog gets walked and let outside several times a day. Contestant supervision - I always check on the dogs if they are out of site for a period of time. I will provide meals twice a day, unless asked differently. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds for ultimate comfort, and full roam of outdoor fence and indoor space.

About: I have taken care of my brothers dog who is 8 years old (Rottweiler/Lab 70lbs) for almost three years now. And once in a while I watch over my sisters dog who is a 2 year old American bulldog. I’ve taught my my brothers Rottweiler how to stay, sit. He is a very needy dog but I’ve learned to be patient. I taught my sister puppy to sit, give me his paw and leave it. Doggies can be so energetic but that’s the fun part. I’m currently working overnights (10pm/6am). And my mornings/ evenings are pretty flexible. The only days I wouldn’t be able to be free is on Tuesdays evening. At my apartment building we have a fenced yard made for pets if needed. Otherwise my apartment is pet free and your pet is safe. I can also watch them at your place if needed.

About: Family and Friends have called me the “dog whisperer”, because I am able to connect with their pets so easily. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. My schedule is able to be put on hold for periods of time, if more time and attention are required or needed. I am able to leave to walk your fur baby, pet-sit at your place, or take care of your fur baby at my home. Pet care is as on-hands and giving as much attention to your fur baby as you wish. I am ready to love them as much as they want and need. I do live in an apartment with places surrounding the building to take dogs outside to potty. There is a new dog park just a block from where I reside. My building is a secure building that is locked with cameras everywhere in the hallways. There are long hallways in my building with very few residents and lots of room to run inside when weather outside is not good. I am able to leave as often as needed to walk dogs. Also, I am able to care for your fur babies in their own home or at my residence.

“Very dependable!!! Punctual!! Volunteer Fire fighter experienced! Very good in communication. Made through below zero weather days while we were gone with no issue!!! Very satisfied!!!”

“Oriana did an amazing job with my curious pups! She gave them plenty of time to find the perfect spot to do their business as well as sniff every other blade of grass in the vicinity. She gave them good love and their treat. I would not hesitate to use her again!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always had a big heart for all types of animals! I have rescued kittens and other animals since I was young, and there has never been a time in my life where I did not have a pet to care for. My full time job is only 2 days a week, so the rest of my time can be focused on your pet. I walk my own dogs daily and love to be outdoors, so there isn’t a request to far fetched! (Pun intended) Your preferences and concerns will always be the forefront of discussions on how I will care for your beloved fur baby. I’m willing to treat them as my own and no request is too much to ask, after all you are entrusting me with your best friend!

About: I am a 25 year old living with autism spectrum disorder. I always loved animals since I saw them for the first time when I was a toddler. Animals and I just clicked, and I love getting to know more and more about animals. I would help out from time to time growing up, helping take care of animals. I also love music, and I play the cello. I'm a fur-mom of a domestic shorthair cat named Leo, and an Australian Shepherd named Zola. From February 2021 to July of 2021, I worked at Camp Bow Wow, and since August of 2021, I’ve been working at Cedar Run Company for 4 yrs now. I am mostly available any day. I work on Mondays (9-5), Fridays (10-6), and Saturdays (10-6). I can try to be flexible with any changes to my weekly schedules. Unfortunately, I can only have my dog, Zola, over at my house, plus I’m afraid she might be jealous. So yea, boarding & daycare at my house isn’t really an option. I will give your pets all the loves and the tender loving care when you’re on vacay.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was a little kid. Grew up showing horses and cattle. I currently have Scottish highland cows, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I’ve pet sat for family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients. I love animals more than people most days. :) Being around any kind of animal is my happy place. When in college, I worked for Apple Creek Kennel in Marion, IA. I’m very approachable and easy to talk to. I will treat your pet as if it were my own. I will work with you if price or schedule doesn’t line up. I work from home MOST days. If I’m not home, I’m usually not too far away. I make my own schedule so I’m able to be somewhat flexible. I’m a crop insurance adjuster full time and usually the busiest times of the year for me are around planting (May-June) and harvest (Sept-Dec). Please be mindful about how far apart we live. If we do live 20+ miles apart and you need me to care for your pet 4 times a day, that’s a minimum of 2 1/2 hours of driving time and gas for that day, on top of my full time job. I do my best not to over-commit myself and I am very upfront and honest about my schedule for the time frames requested. My full time job takes priority but I will always do my best to accommodate you and your pet(s) if my schedule allows. 🥰 I have a 5ft fenced yard. I will care for your animals specifically as I’m told and will do what is safest and most secure for your animal.

Jennifer T.
“Hello, my name is Eufraisa Tecuapetla. My sister Jennifer has helped me over the last three years in taking care of my boy Chapo. Chapo is a Rottweiler mixed with Lab and he can be a handful. But Jennifer has done a great job in keeping me stress free by making sure he is well fed, well groomed, safe and loved. She is a very generous and life saver, there was a couple of times where I had to come him extremely late from work but she kept Chapo in her home safe until I could be with him. Another time would be when my dog had a terrible ear infection and she took the time to take him to the vet and made sure he could get better. I would highly recommend her with taking care of your little fur baby! Thanks!”

Sana R.
“Sana has consistently helped my husband and me out with our puppy, Addison. She is absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend her! Our pup truly loves her and is so happy to see Sana whenever Sana comes over to watch her. I recently had back surgery and have not been able to bend, lift or twist. Sana has been a tremendous help to me during this time while the rest of the family is gone at work. She plays and plays with Addison and takes her for several walks each day. Addison always has Sana's full attention. There is no one else I would feel comfortable leaving Addison with. Addison loves Sana and Sana loves Addison. If you are looking for someone who will truly care for your pet like you would, contact Sana Rogers! You will not regret it for a second!”

“Angela does a wonderful job with my 3 dogs. I go on vacation and leave them in her care for a week to 10 days at a time. While I’m gone I know that they will be loved and cared for as if I never left! She walks them every day, makes sure they are fed and safe and keeps them calm. We have one dog that is especially anxious and he stays calm when Angela is there. The dogs are always so excited to see her when she comes to the house. 10/10 stars! Highly recommend!”

DeMira S.
“Ms Sweet De Mira, where do I start? Well she is what I would call a animal whisper. Her soul just pours out to them and they love her. I foster dogs through Cedar Valley Pit bull rescue and I personally of had DeMira watch and play with my fosters. She also has watched my personal 2 dog who both are over 75 lbs. She loves cats. I have 2 cats one who is kinda a butt but loves DeMira. I would highly recommend DeMira because not only is she doing a service to these animals but these animals are doing her a service as well. Humans just are not very nice these days but gosh the animals have that unconditional love we all want.”
