“Thomas was the perfect sitter for Beauty. She does best with someone who will let her sleep outside or in the garage and just be around. She seemed so happy and got to go on some little local trips. Thomas sent pictures daily with updates which was perfect for me.”

“Morghan was wonderful with our elderly dog. Super responsive and communicated well throughout the time she was boarding her. Took great care of her and clearly loves all types of animals. Highly recommend her!”

“What can I say about Lorinda? She provided exceptional care for my two dogs on a two week private at home boarding at her house. Her communication and responsiveness was 10 out of 10. She was incredibly flexible and helpful with logistics and some special accommodations we needed. When the state got extended and the dogs ran out of food, she was kind enough to go to two different stores to pick up what they like. She is very professional and reliable, and I feel very comfortable being out of the country, knowing that my dogs are with her.”

“We would highly recommend Gil. He was very attentive and caring, trying to be as knowledgeable about our dog's care and routine as possible. We received prompt updates as needed, and pictures showing our fur girl having a stress free visit. She seemed very comfortable being in his household and care.”

“We left our dog with Brittany while we went on vacation. She was very sweet and responsive and sent pictures while we were away! Definitely made me feel better about having to leave our dog behind.”

“Francine was excellent with our two beagles. This was my first time with a dog sitter, and my wife and I were quite nervous, however were reassured very quickly. My wife and I are paid emt’s and have unpredictable work schedules. Francine is flexible, understanding and treated our pups like her own. She updates you throughout the day, and took my hyperactive two pups on long walks that are much needed. Thank you for not only being a sitter, but a friend to my two pups. I highly recommend francine to anyone, because she is the best!! After coming home after 12 hours at her house my two are snuggled in bed fast asleep. Way to go francine!”

“Nicole was a lifesaver! After getting over booked at a kennel during Cooperstown Baseball season, she came to my rescue. Great communication, flexible, easy to work with, updated me with pictures and she even trimmed my puppy nails. Highly recommend her.”

“Jenny is super easy to communicate with and flexible! She’s very friendly and I felt my dog was very safe with her. We actually needed to cancel our booking so Daisy only spent a few hours with her but she had already sent us a photo! I will definitely be booking with Jenny in the future.”

“Adriana was amazing! She took care of Denis as he was her own. Provided pictures and updates via text! If we are ever back in the CNY we will definitely be contacting her to watch our boy.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid, having many pets growing up. I have volunteered in the animal care center at Greenburgh nature center where I got to care for a variety of reptiles and mammals. I have dog sat many family friends dogs, and also walked dogs for families I've babysat. Most recently, I worked at the Hudson Valley Humane Society Shelter where I mostly worked with farm animals and dogs, and is where I met and adopted my sweet boy named Suka. I currently am working in Ithaca 6:30-3:00pm and have the afternoons available I would be able to work in the Ithaca area or surrounding all the way to Truxton (where I currently live). Come this September I will have Wednesdays and Weekends completely available. I live on 5 acres, with plenty of room to play. I will always keep your pet on a leash or make sure there surrounding area is gated in so no one escapes. Having a husky, I am well versed on being prepared for escape artists.

“Cassandra was amazing with my Sophia who is an older dog with a few senior issues. We were kept in the loop every day on how she was adjusting to her new sitter ( including pictures) and that made me feel confident we made a great choice. I would hope Cassandra will agree to watch Sophia again when she needs boarding. Anne”

“Steve was able to dog sit my puggle Chomps on such short notice. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family and I was hesitant in using a dog sitting service. Upon meeting Steve I felt comfortable in leaving Chomps with him. Steve sent me pictures of Chomps during his stay. He was also extremely accomodating, as we were returning from our trip a little later than anticipated. When we arrived to pick him up, Chomps did not even want to get into the car to leave. Chomps and I both give Steve two paws up!! I would highly recommend Steve and would absolutely request his services again in the future. ??”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from cats & dogs to fluffy chinchillas! I have special experience working with powerful breeds, including retired and aspiring K9s, as well as senior & special needs pets. My home comes equipped with accessiblity tools like pet stairs & ramps suitable for even larger dogs. Our quarter acre is unfenced, but we do have a small enclosed area off the porch & several long leads to enjoy more of the grassy lawn. Safety is paramount. I’m comfortable giving medication, following specialized diets, & assisting with mobility issues. I’m an experienced pet parent who just said goodbye to my 17 year old rescue pitbull; I’d like to open my now-too-quiet home to your beloved family members. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ friendly ❤️ I’m a professional writer who works exclusively from home. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to any specific needs, take all the potty breaks, and ensure both enriching play & restorative snuggles. And treats, of course! I have a fenced potty area off my porch for easy quick breaks, and several long leads for exploring the unfenced portions of the property. My senior dog recently passed away but she left soft beds in every room, jars of treats, and a big basket of toys I know she’d love to share.

“Sean was excellent and Bonnie had a great time. Lots of exercise each day, including long daily walks and doggy play dates. Sean did some good leash training with Bonnie. Great socialization with other dogs. We are completely satisfied!”
