About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid, having many pets growing up. I have volunteered in the animal care center at Greenburgh nature center where I got to care for a variety of reptiles and mammals. I have dog sat many family friends dogs, and also walked dogs for families I've babysat. Most recently, I worked at the Hudson Valley Humane Society Shelter where I mostly worked with farm animals and dogs, and is where I met and adopted my sweet boy named Suka. I currently am working in Ithaca 6:30-3:00pm and have the afternoons available I would be able to work in the Ithaca area or surrounding all the way to Truxton (where I currently live). Come this September I will have Wednesdays and Weekends completely available. I live on 5 acres, with plenty of room to play. I will always keep your pet on a leash or make sure there surrounding area is gated in so no one escapes. Having a husky, I am well versed on being prepared for escape artists.

About: Iv been a pet owner of both dogs and cats since I was 9. We also grew up with many exotic animals (lizards, iguanas, sugar gliders and bunnys to name a few). I currently have 2 verry friendly small dogs and 1 cat. I am a stay at home mom. Who homeschools my 9 year old child which help me be verry flexible with my schedule. My kiddo loves to help me with the pets we care for when the owner allows! If you pet is not kid friendly that is okay as I can leave her with childcare during your pets time.(please mention this ahead of time) I enter every care session with tons of love for every pet. About: I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and have had quite a bit of experience walking dogs as well as dog sitting in the past for family and friends in a variety of environments including my home as well as the homes of others. I have a passion for caring for animals and consider myself to be very in tune with their needs. I currently have 3 large dogs and a cat, and have also had small dogs in the past. I working for Syracuse City School District at an elementary school, it is close to my home and it isn’t hard for me to stop in at my place during the day. I like for owners to provide a small blanket and stuffed animal or toy they love to make them feel safe, and I try to have a calm environment where any critter feels at home.
