About: I’ve cared for dogs for many years and currently have two dogs of my own that I take on regular walks and lots of adventures. I’ve also helped care for my sister’s two dogs over the past 5 years whenever needed. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and love. I’ll treat your dog like they’re part of my own family because dogs truly are the best! I work full time Monday through Friday and am available for pet care after 4 PM on weekdays. I have open availability on weekends for walks, drop-ins and playtime. Since I have two dogs of my own, caring for pets is already a big part of my daily routine, and I love making sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. In my home, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and love throughout the day. Since I don’t have a large yard, I take my dogs on regular walks and make time for play and enrichment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine consistent so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I’m very flexible and happy to follow any specific instructions, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, crate routines, or extra cuddle time. About: Growing up, my family has always had pets, so I’ve been around animals my whole life. We’ve also done in-home dog sitting for the past 10 years and have fostered numerous dogs and cats through Lucky Paws Rescue for about 8 years. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and sizes, from puppies to seniors and small to large dogs. I also have experience fostering paralyzed dogs and caring for animals with medical needs, including diabetic pets and those requiring medications. I’m a college student who works full time during the summer normally a 3-midnight shift. My dogs at home have the option of leash walking and a fenced in yard, both work very well for them. I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.
About: I have lived with dogs since childhood. I have had several dogs of my own, currently I have two Border Collies, one is a tripod. I am currently not working so I am available 7 days a week. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing.
