About: About Me I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and more, and I’ve always loved how much joy and personality they bring to our lives. I’m excited to provide a safe, active, and comfortable environment where your dog can feel right at home while you’re away. I’m an active person who loves getting outside for runs, hikes, and exploring local trails, so I’m happy to make exercise and outdoor time part of your dog’s routine. I’ll tailor our walks and activities to your dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. One Dog at a Time I provide personalized care by boarding and caring for one dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention and keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. During a typical boarding stay, I plan to let your dog outside every 3–4 hours. Mornings will start with a brisk walk or run, with plenty of time for bathroom breaks and sniffing around. Since I live only about 10 minutes from work, I’m also able to come home during the day for a 30-minute midday walk and some quality time together. After dinner, we’ll take another walk to get some fresh air and wind down for the evening. My goal is for every dog in my care to get plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and downtime while following the routine their owner has established. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog, learn about their personality and routine, and make sure they have a fun, safe, and comfortable stay! I run every morning and like to go for longer walks in the afternoon. On the weekends we can visit dog parks, go for hikes, and be outdoors. Also, completely fine with a 30 minute walk and being a couch potato the rest of the day. I work but am able to keep the time away to less than 4 hours. I started to foster dogs from the local animal shelter. Based on the friendliness of the dog I will update my availability. I have always thought of pets as members of the family and care for them with love and respect.

Please also inform me of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so I can create the safest environment possible for your dog. To help your pup feel at home, I offer treats and peanut-butter–filled Kongs around lunchtime (if permitted). Upon request, and for an additional fee, I can also provide daily walks, park outings for playtime or fresh air, nail trims, and baths. For safety and comfort, I do require that dogs be kennel-trained. If your dog is not yet fully comfortable in a kennel, I am happy to introduce gentle training exercises to help them build positive associations. This not only supports the boarding process but also benefits your dog in everyday situations where crate time may be necessary. My goal is to ensure your pup feels safe, relaxed, and cared for—just like they’re at home.
