“This was our first visit with Deanne. Doggy Daycare was a hit! Cash was happy when I picked him up. He was sound asleep on the couch within a 1/2 of getting home. I think he had a busy day with his new lil buddy!”

“We love Sandy and so do our dogs! We honestly don’t know what we would do without her. She takes such great care of our girls that they seem completely unimpressed when we come to pick them up at the end of each stay. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.
“Heather took such great care of my girls! She responded quickly, sent lots of updates and the pups were good and tired when I picked them up. I will definitely be getting in touch with her next time I stay in Kenosha!”

About: I am a certified veterinary technician with an additional certification in massage and rehab therapy. I have been working in the animal care industry since 2012 and have worked with and trained dogs for a long as I can remember. I offer expert level care for medically complex cases and a fear free approach for anxious pets. I have experience working with anxious and aggressive dogs as well as competition trained dogs. Being crate trained is a must for overnight stays. I do have 1 large crate here but encourage you to bring your pet's crate from home if able. Self- employed with a flexible schedule, I have all day availability and can also do early morning and late evening drop ins. I only take 1 client at a time so that I can give your pet the care and attention they deserve. Because I only take one client at a time, I can offer a stress free stay for animal aggressive pets. I wash all toys and blankets and sanitize all the floors and dishes between every stay.
“Service is always fantastic! They post on social media daily to let you see your pups! We love dropping Mabel off knowing she is in good care! Heated warehouse for playing and plenty of toys! There is also a rest period which is amazing. Mabel is always so tired when she comes home. They offer pet grooming services!!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and a sitter and we were very pleased with the service Megan provided. She kept in touch with us throughout the day and sent us pics. She is very responsive and we will definitely use Megan again. Thank you!!”

“Carol and Steve are excellent hosts. Our Cavapoo is extremely anxious and they provided personal attention to keep him calm. I got multiple messages with photos that made me comfortable. Already reserved more days. I would highly recommend their services.”

“Kimberly was an amazing dog sitter for my sweet Luna! She was over the top accommodating and took the time to learn her special traits. Super nice! We are so lucky to find a local dog sitter!!”

“Kim is patient and loving and Frankie enjoyed his long walk and time playing in the large fenced in yard. We are so happy that we found Kim to watch our puppy when we have family outings. Thank you so much!”

“Our Ruby spent the day with Carrie and her family recently. Ruby is 13 and not as active as she used to be, but she loves being around families and enjoys playtime with other dogs. She did very well and was well cared for. I am sure we will contact Carrie again to be Ruby’s sitter.”
“Danielle is AWESOME!! Roxy had a great time with her and her dogs and kids are amazing! She sent me photos during the day and let me know how Roxy was doing. She takes her for nice walks and gets plenty of exercise and fun. I'm super happy with the care Roxy gets at her house. Thanks!”

“Amazing! I had no worries all day about my dog as I was sent many videos and also text messages of updates for him! 10/10 would very much recommend! Thank you so much again!!!”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 13, developing a deep understanding of their needs and well-being. As a nurse, I bring the same level of dedication and attentiveness to my dog-sitting services, ensuring each pet receives the care and comfort they deserve. At home, I have a 4-year-old miniature schnauzer and a playful 2-year-old toddler, so I understand the importance of a safe and loving environment. Whether your dog needs companionship, exercise, or special attention, I provide reliable, compassionate care you can trust. Working from home allows me the flexibility to tailor my schedule to meet each dog’s needs. Whether your pet requires frequent walks, structured outdoor time, or a specific routine, I am available to provide the care and attention they need. I understand that every dog has different energy levels and habits, so I am happy to accommodate owner requests to ensure their pets feel comfortable, active, and well-cared for throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced backyard, I prioritize safety by always keeping dogs leashed during outdoor time. Whether going for a walk or spending time outside, I follow all necessary safety measures to ensure each pet’s well-being. I understand the importance of secure handling and will always adhere to owner preferences and best practices to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care.

“This was first experience with a sitter as well as our puppy's first time with a sitter, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We appreciated the love, attention, and updates. He was well cared for, and we could tell he was happy and comfortable. Thank you for taking good care of him Max.”

“Again, I appreciate the care Tom and Debbie provide for my dog. I had a VERY last minute need for help and they were so kind in their quick response. I worry about my pup too mich— there is always something —and Debbie responds in a reassuring manner. Thanks Debbie & Tom!”

“We felt so comfortable leaving our puppy with Maura, she was in great hands and was showered with so much love the entire time she was there. We are so thankful we found her!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 444 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Spring Prairie. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Spring Prairie commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 444 sitters in Spring Prairie, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
