5. Brooke Y.
About: Growing up, my life was filled with a variety of dogs— Weimaraner, playful Labs, even a couple of Pitbulls, and many more like Shih Tzus, Pomeranians, Huskies, and Dalmatians. Living with such a diverse bunch taught me invaluable lessons in caring for and training different types of animals. I've turned my passion into a profession. I'm a pet sitter and dog walker who takes pride in treating every pet as if they were my own. It's not just a job for me; it's a genuine love for animals that drives me. Whether it's giving belly rubs, going for long walks, or making sure they're comfortable while you're away, I make sure to provide the same care and attention that I would want for my own pets. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, especially now that I'm between jobs this summer after graduating from college. With flexible availability every day, I prioritize walking and pet sitting as a fulfilling part of my day. It's more than a responsibility because it's a joy to spend time with furry companions. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. Here's how I ensure professional care: 1. **Daily Visits**: I visit as often as needed, ensuring pets have regular companionship and care throughout the day. 2. **Feeding and Hydration**: I adhere strictly to feeding schedules and ensure fresh water is always available. 3. **Exercise and Play**: Engaging pets in playtime and walks keeps them active and entertained. 4. **Medication and Special Needs**: If required, I administer medications and attend to any special needs with diligence. 5. **Grooming and Cleanliness**: Brushing, grooming, and maintaining a clean living space are essential for their well-being. 6. **Updates and Communication**: Regular updates and communication with pet owners provide peace of mind and ensure I meet their expectations. 7. **Security**: I respect the home's security protocols and ensure doors are securely locked after each visit. By following these practices, I aim to create a comfortable and loving environment for pets while their owners are away.
