About: Our family has a dauschaund for 15 years that passed in August. She was provided so much love and care. I'm not afraid to help feel meds to your pup to keep them happy and healthy. We now have a new pup, a 10 lb pomeranian/ chihuahua mix who is about half way through his training to be a service dog and hopefully a therapy dog. He loves his training and putting that work vest on. Hopedully when he is finished he can help put smiles on many faces, just like he has done with my husband and I. Our family has also had cats off and on for over 20 years. While I know they are laid back and are happy with an empty litter box and a full food bowl, they like getting the extra love and attention to. So whether it's with a toy on a stick, balls on the ground, or even some gentle pets they need love while your away also. I currently work part-time from home. I would be available to help your four legged family member before 7am and after 12 noon. The only other thing that keeps me busy is the training with Rupert, but it's flexible. I am asking to care for smaller dogs only because of some medical restrictions. With a small dog I will have no problem walking them, cleaning up after them, and crating if needed. But most of all I will be able to play with them to help burn off energy.

About: Hi! I currently have a 9 year old English Cream Retriever and two kittens with my fiancé :) I love going on long walks with dogs as well as getting some energy out playing (fetch, tug-o-war, etc) while you’re away. I used to work at a Humane Society and absolutely adore being around animals! Our dog was my fiancé’s seizure alert service dog so he is very well trained (in case you need to drop a dog off and are worried with another one!) but knows how to have fun when he can! He retired in October ‘24 because retrievers legally do retire at 9 and is now a full time goofy house dog with slightly better training than your average pup. Our kittens are very sweet and adventurous! They all get along. Feel free to message me with any questions! I currently have a hybrid work schedule and work 2 days at home and 3 in the office. My schedule is 7-4 so I can make time really early, during lunch, or after 4! My at home days will have more flexibility if needed. Our dog is not allowed on the couches but he does sleep on the bed with us and he is not crated. We recently bought a two story house and the cats love flying up and down the stairs as well as find spots on all the windowsills. It is very spacious if you prefer an area blocked off for any reason.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets, pets of friends, and pets of people I don’t know. In the future I would like to work with law enforcement animals, so your business will (hopefully) help me in the future! I work part time coaching soccer at schools/parks in the Gaston County area. I normally work mornings, but starting in the fall will work the occasional weekday afternoon. Despite working in the mornings, I can still attend to your dogs in the morning Normally I will talk to the owner and spend time with the animal before I decide how I’m going to handle it. All animals are different, some need more outside time while some may just want to lay around all day

About: Hi! My husband and I are both hybrid workers, so we’re home often and have flexible schedules that allow us to spend quality time with the dogs we watch. We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. Since there aren’t other animals or distractions, we’re able to give your dog our full attention, lots of love, and care tailored just to them. My experience with dogs goes back to when I was 3 years old, and had my first family dog that I grew up with like a sibling! From that moment, I always treated dogs as part of the family. I rescued my second dog while I was in college from a shelter, and I also spent many years pet sitting for my neighbors, which was truly a dream job because I got to spend all day long playing with dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need—whether it's administering medications, helping them up stairs, or just giving them a peaceful spot to nap. We work full-time, but have hybrid schedules where we work from home most of the week. We make sure to rotate our in office days so one of us is always home. We are able to provide potty breaks every hour! For exercise, our neighborhood is suitable for long walks. We also have a yard where we can play with your dog, as well as several nearby trails.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a child. I currently own a 2 year old miniature dachshund and have taken in my family’s senior dog that we’ve have for 12 years now. I love teaching my dachshund new tricks and taking both sweet pups for long walks around our neighborhood! I am a teacher during the school year but have open availability all summer long to love on and take care of your sweet fur babies! I have a fenced in backyard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company! I also have a dedicated area to section off if your pet needs more alone time.

About: I have always had dogs growing up and during high school and college I would pet sit for neighbors and friends for tuition and other funds. I have always loved the animals I take care of as my own and send regular photos to the parents of our activities. All of my sitting and walking engagements were done on a regular basis over multiple years. I have boarded dogs at my own place for long engagements previously but currently am not able to do that service. I am able to administer medications orally or topically and am familiar with the needs of puppies all the way to senior dogs. I am disabled from an injury to my back that prevents me from running so I prefer to have clients with less boisterous and aggressive animals. Since I sustained a back injury at a former job I like to stay as active as I physically can and have a fairly open schedule to fit the needs of many clients. I can adapt to most schedules and easy to get in touch with. I will stay for 30 minutes minimum for each visit (most of the time longer) depending on the needs of the client. I prefer to play or exercise while I am visiting to keep the puppers engaged and not bored as well as expend any pent up energy. Walking is a great way to keep the animals from separation anxiety and to keep up stimulation and exercise. I take pictures of the pets to send to the parents via text or email so that you may be at ease as well as having more pictures of your babies (because who doesn't need that?).

About: I have 1 Westiepoo and 1 cat. I work from home and keep an eye on them in my office at all times. They receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I will care for them as if they were my children ☺️ Work from home and am a homebody so I will be around all the time to give them lots of love and attention. If your furry friend is the anxious type, our home is very peaceful throughout the day. I have a fenced yard big enough for lots of running and plenty of playing. We love walks around our neighborhood and provide lots of attention to our pets.

About: I'm 51 years old and have lived in the Charlotte/Gastonia area all my life. I have a special needs cat, one rescue cat, one rescue dog, and a 18 year old son who loves animals as well. I know the importance of making sure your fur babies are taken care of while you are away. I am able to take care of dogs and also cats as well! I work at home during the week so I am able to do morning, lunch, and evening visits. My weekends are usually free so anytime would work. About: Hello.. I love pets and love helping others with their pet care needs when they can’t be there to care for them. Very caring and understanding and enjoy animals.
