“So, relying on folks we knew as reliable dog/house sitters hasn’t worked out well for us. So I thought “I’ll use a service.” Perhaps paying folks I don’t know - and who will rely on my review of their service as a means to obtain more business - and truly treating this as a business transaction, would be a better route than assuming all of my friends love my babies as much as I do. I chose Tracy solely based upon his large number of positive reviews. Tracy was all business, and I appreciated it. As a first time customer he made time to stop by and meet me and the pups and let me show him around the house. We agreed upon the time he would spend here, and that he would take my puppy back to his house for the night. And what we agreed upon is exactly what happened. I got regular updates and he humored me through my constant texts. I never waited longer than a few minutes to get a reply from him. It was equally refreshing to come home after being gone all night and have it seem as though nobody had been in my house, and to have the dogs happy, calm and content. Thank you Tracy!”

“Lisa gave great updates, followed my dogs’ schedules properly, even cleaned up some messes which I am so appreciative of! She gave them lots of love and care! She was great!”

“Stephanie was great to work with! Always gave plenty of updates throughout the day about the dogs and sent pictures of them as well! This was the longest time we have left someone with our pets and I am so thankful that Stephanie was the one watching them. She treated them as her own and our house was left just as we left it! Will definitely use Stephanie again and recommend her for any services!”

“Bree has spent the last week watching our 9 month old puppy. She suggested doing scent games to keep him occupied and mentally stimulated as well as other basic training he is still working on. She sent lots of photos and always kept us in the loop!”

“Emma is the best and a true angel! We have three standard poodles who are our 4 legged kids and we have never left them in someone’s care outside of family. Poodles are very family oriented and can be wary of strangers. After meeting Emma, we were amazed at how quickly the girls took to Emma as if they had known her for a lifetime. She came to our home and provided outstanding care. Emma provided us periodic updates during the day and even sent pictures showing us how well things were going. Emma is a true blessing to our family and I know we will reach out to her again! 💕🐾”

“Brooklyn was able to help me out last minute and was great. She paid a lot of attention to my dogs and they really liked her. She communicated well and was fully invested in making sure my dogs were well-taken care of while I was gone.”

“Tricia is absolutely wonderful with our pets! We haven't ever seen them take to to strangers as well s they did her. Her laugh while playing with the dogs was truly infectious. We've already booked her again for our next vacation.”

“Erin was awesome with Anubis and very flexible when my plans had changed. I will definitely have her watch Anubis again knowing he will be in excellent hands.”

“Samantha was terrific with my cats! She was very communicative and took great care of them, making sure they got their medicine and had all their needs met. Will definitely book Samantha again!”

“Brandi and Lu were excellent dog sitters. Our dogs fell in love with them immediately and I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We needed help with a sitter for a long trip last minute and they were so accommodating. Not only were they over communicative and followed all the instructions for our special girls, they were lovely house guests. They went above and beyond, and even brushed my fluffy dog. But most of all, my girls were happy. Will definitely be having them again! 🙏🏻🙏🏻”

“Hannah was great! Both my dog and cat are typically very nervous of new people, but they warmed up to Hannah very fast! She sent great updates and tons of pictures which I really appreciated. I will definitely book with her next time I go away!”

“Lydia didn't exceptional job watching our dog, Fiona! She was very helpful when I needed to extend our trip and have her watch Fiona longer. She did a great job with Fiona!! We will definitely be using her services in the future!!!”

“Boston Did fantastic with my 2 dogs, she was reliable and easy to communicate with...She sent pics and let me know how my 2 dogs were doing, she was very quick to respond...her prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend her...Thanks Boston..”

About: Hello everyone! I’m happy to be of service for you and your animals. I have many years of experience with dogs. I grew up with animals in my childhood home and am very comfortable with animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I have trained, raised and cared for several dogs myself. Daisy was a golden retriever, Zoe was my golden rough collie mutt, Molly was my 10-lb mutt, Charlie was my very sick mutt, Jess was my hyper husky blue heeler mutt, and now I have Frida. Frida is a sweet girl who loves to work. She is a border collie Australian Shepard mutt who came with me from ND. We are working on learning tricks and trying our hand at herding. Yes when I am with your dog we will work on basic obedience, manners, games, and tricks if you should like. I also have some experience with cats and would love more experience. I fostered a very sick kitten last year and have been around lots of friends’ and families’ cats. If there should be other animals that I have not worked with before, I would be happy to learn how to do so. And I would take my time to ensure I follow your care instructions thoroughly. Looking forward to helping you while you are away! Services in your home - you can rest assured knowing you have an extremely responsible and dependable person in your space. I will be respectful of your things and wishes. I will take extra care to follow your instructions precisely. I do have a dog of my own, which presents a unique opportunity. I can offer you a significantly lower rate if you want me to stay in your home and you allow Frida to be with me. Otherwise she will be kenneled in the car while I am in your home (if you are wanting me to spend the night in your home). I realize most people will not want this, but I wanted to throw it out there as an option for you. Services in my home - Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed. They will have structure, routine, and lots of love. Please bring your kennel. If you do not have one, I have a wire kennel that they will use while here. I do kennel Frida when I have to leave the house and cannot take her with me. Your dog will enjoy lots of play time with Frida. We have a six foot fence and dogs will always be supervised while we are outside. Frida and I also really enjoy our walks and your dog would be one of the pack. Yes, I do require a meet and greet to learn all about your animal before I will accept a booking. Thank you for understanding. Love, Erin and Frida 💕 I am currently working part time, so lots of time to watch your animals and love on them. I would love to be able to watch your pets full time. So I am working on filling up my calendar. Let’s see where this can take me. Currently, Frida and I walk daily and it would be awesome to take a dog friend with us! Also, I am currently watching pets for people out of town. I go over in the morning to say hello to the cats, change water, fill food, clean litter box, and make sure they have optimal viewing spots by the windows to watch the birds. Then I return at night for play time, water plants, and make sure I repeat everything from the morning. I’d love to care for yours while you are away too! In my home I have a six foot fenced yard and a border collie policing the yard haha. I have one large wire kennel and one medium sized wire kennel that will house your dog should I need to run a quick errand. When I am in your home, I will be responsible and respectful. I will follow your house rules and keep your babies safe, loved, and cared for.

About: I have taken a wide variety of dogs from a Chihuahua to a German shepherd. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, give medications and play with their dogs. I have also stayed overnight servers different times. This has given a wide variety of experience with different cares and types of dogs. I am currently looking for part time summer jobs. I am fairly flexible and could work a variety of days and hours. I am able to pick up jobs at a short notice. I have a two weeks I would not be able to work but am free the rest of the summer. I am not currently in an apartment that would not suite dogs. I am comfortable and have experience with pet care in the home. I would be able to stay or night or visit throughout the day. I can walk, play and crate dogs if needed.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life, and animals have always been a big part of my heart and home. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, peaceful walks, or cozy snuggles, I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m confident caring for puppies, senior pets, and those with special routines. I always treat pets like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life—I structure my days around the needs of the animals in my care. I’m home most of the day, which means plenty of attention, play, and potty breaks. I provide flexible scheduling and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines to match your pet’s usual habits. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a very friendly dog who loves company, and a fully fenced-in yard that’s perfect for secure outdoor play. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and full of affection. I follow any feeding, medication, or behavior instructions carefully and give regular updates so you feel connected while you're away.

About: Hi there! I’m Ada— a lifelong animal lover with over 17 years of experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with larger dogs in my family for all of my 18 years of life! Whether it’s a high-energy husky or a shy senior pug, I tailor every walk or visit to your pet’s unique needs and personality. I understand how important it is to feel confident in your pet’s care while you’re away, so I make it my mission to keep them happy, safe, and well-exercised. I’m always on time, easy to reach, and happy to send photo updates after every walk! Please feel free to reach out! Pet care is an important and consistent part of my weekly routine, even though my part-time job schedule changes week to week. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and always communicate clearly about my availability so pet parents know exactly when I’m free. Most weeks, I’m available for morning or evening walks, drop-in visits, and weekends I’m very open. I’m always happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet is cared for when you need it. Safety and trust are at the heart of how I care for every pet. Whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming your pet into mine, I make sure they feel secure, comfortable, and cared for at all times. When pets stay with me, they’ll be in a clean, calm environment where they can relax and be themselves. I don’t have other pets, and I never leave pets unattended for long periods. I follow your care instructions closely and I send regular updates so you always know how they’re doing. When walking or visiting pets in your home, I take the same care: checking gates, leashes, and surroundings to keep everything safe. I treat every animal with patience and respect, and I know how important it is to earn both your trust and your pet’s.

“Sadie was great! We will definitely be calling her next time we have to leave town and can’t take our buddy. She communicated well and presented herself professionally.”

Southwood Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amara was great with our dogs, like always! We never have to worry when Amara is watching our dogs while we are out of town! She keeps us posted on how they are doing and always sends plenty of pictures!! Highly recommend Amara if you are looking for a dog sitter!! She is always great!

Paris was great with our little guy!! We took a week long trip out of the country and she stayed in our home to care for him. She gave constant updates throughout the entire trip including pictures, times when she was leaving for the day, and any concerns she might see with him. That helped ease our minds a ton while we were so far away. At the end of her stay she left the house clean and cared for and even offered to swing back over to the house to let him out again in case our flight got delayed. We would definitely book with Paris again!
