“This was our first time using the Rover app. After finding out last minute we had to fly out for a funeral, we were looking for someone to check in on our pup so she could stay at home. Couldn’t have picked a better option than Zach and Abbey! They took great care of our girl and even made sure her puppy YouTube shows were playing. Highly recommend.”

“She was extremely professional and was amazing with our 2 cats! Our cats had just been fixed and she sent lots of pictures and updates on how they were doing. We will be using her for our sitting needs in the future!”

“Courtney did an amazing job caring for our cat! She was here twice a day as promised, and was very attentive to him. We will definitely use her again for our next trip!”

“Kaleigh was excellent. Our first time booking with Rover and Kaleigh made the experience an amazing one. Excellent communicator. You could tell she really enjoys what she does and takes it very seriously. Leaving my Dogs for the first time was stressful, but she made it super easy. I highly encourage you to hire Kaleigh. ❤️❤️🐶🐶”

“Josie was very responsive and even sent me updates and photos when her app wasn’t working. She went above and beyond! Would definitely book with her again - my cat seemed happy!”

About: While I enjoy all animals, cats are my favorite. I have loved and cared for countless cats requiring various levels of care from kittens to seniors. I have experience administering shots and medications, personalized feeding, cleaning, and even birthing. I have studied and researched cat behaviors since I could read. I love each fur baby like they are my own. I'm the friend that always has cat food in their car or leaves the party to sit with the cat that's hiding in the closet. I work full-time, but I have all evenings and weekends free to spend time with your pets. If nearby, I can make quick trips during the day. I can dedicate as much time as needed during weekends. I am also able to keep cats at my home if preferred for more interaction time and socialization with my two friendly kitties. Dog (or cat) walks are limited to evenings or weekends. Must have a leash/harness. I let the animals take charge for the most part. I find that they will tell you what they need, and it is up to you to interpret them. Structure can be important, but following their lead and understanding their instincts can save you time and energy. I also try to be firm when it comes to meals and treats. (sometimes a challenge!) Health and longevity are most important to me.
About: I grew up with all kinds of pets and have continuined the tradition in my own home. The last few years since becoming a remote worker, I have been pet sitting in clients homes administering simple meds and taking general care of their cats and dogs (often both). I work remote, so there aren't too many obstacles in the way of scheduling. I typically have plans throughout the week, often around 2-4 hours total, that would take me out of the home. Otherwise, I'll be in the home taking care of your pet. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, keeping them on their usual schedule. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of love while respecting your space.
“Annie has looked after our cat several times now and we cannot recommend her enough! She is very responsive and sends great photo updates. It is great being able to travel knowing that our cat is in responsible and friendly care. Thanks Annie!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve cared for all kinds of furry friends over the years — from ferrets and hamsters to cats and dogs — and I bring that same love and attention to every pet I watch. I currently have three dogs of my own (a German Shepherd and two French Bulldogs) along with two cats, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from incubating and bottle-feeding puppies to providing gentle, patient care for senior pets. Friends, family, and neighbors have consistently trusted me to care for their pets, whether for quick check-ins or longer stays. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their routines. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I take that responsibility seriously by providing dependable care, regular updates, and treating every pet like my own. I'm currently in college full time and work part-time weekends! So I will have plenty of time for your pet care needs! I can come before and during lunch time during weekdays. As well as a couple stops in the evening and on weekends. ! I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard, but do not currently offer in home services. That could change later with meet and greets with my own pets, but for now I'm available to come to where your pet knows best! I would love a meet and greet with your fur baby. We can discuss your pets routine in your home and have a plan of care laid out to ease your worries.
“I needed a drop in cat sitter as I can’t board one of them (vet says no more vaccines for him). Riley lived close and had a good review. I actually didn’t get to meet her and communicated by texts and notes. Was a little worried about having a stranger in my home but everything is fine and the cats seem to have been well cared for. Will use again if available next time I travel.”

About: Hello everyone, I'm Lexi! I've been an animal lover since I was just a little girl and my love for animals has continued to grow more and more over the years. If you are working late, have dinner plans, out of town on vacation, or just need someone to check-in with your pet throughout the day, that is what I am here for. 🥰 I can feed your pet their meals, give treats, attention, clean litter boxes, & let your animal outside to play & potty! You just let me know what you are needing from me. I currently have 1 dog of my own and 1 cat. I also have some exotic animals such as my chameleon, sugar gliders, dart frogs, & crested gecko! I know how much attention they need and deserve. I have taken care of my own pets and family members pets for years, along with working in a dog boarding facility for over a year. I was a 10 year 4H member with livestock. I showed swine, sheep, & goats. I've always been a huge animal lover and would love to get to know you and your special dog, cat, or little critter! I accept last minute bookings as well. Thanks for your time in getting to know a little bit about me. 😊 I have a very busy schedule but I am punctual and organized with each client I have! I will always make it work and you can depend on that! I will treat your pets as if they're my own! Having animals of my own, I know just how special they are to us, and how much attention they need. I will only care for your pet inside of your home (not mine).
“Abigail did several drop-in visits for me while I was on vacation. She came over to meet my pets a few days before I left. I felt at ease after meeting her and I could tell she was an animal lover. She did a great job following my pets’ routine and was always in time. During my vacation, one of my cats became ill. Abigail notified me right away and sent pictures of my cat’s eye. Abigail offered to take my cat to a vet and also called around to try to get an appt since I’m new to the area. I’m very grateful to Abigail for taking good care of my pets while I was away. I would definitely use her again!”

Southwood cat parents share their Rover experiences
Absolutely amazing! Both of my cats were extremely well taken care of while I was on vacation. My older cat, who is generally fearful of most people, warmed up to Abbey almost immediately! She went above and beyond what i asked every visit! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be rebooking in the future!
