“Elizabeth was an exceptional house sitter for our standard poodle, Paddy. He is a big dog and quite excitable. She handled him very well (we saw the photos) and he seemed vey content with her. She followed all our directions for his care including giving medication twice daily. He was very calm, brushed and stress-free when we arrived home. She left our home cleaner than we left it, laundered her sheets and towels and even cooked delicious quiche-like creations is several varieties for our lunches! We would highly recommend Elizabeth.”

We had a different sitter all set up for about 3 weeks prior to a brief trip away—the hotel was booked, the theater and MLB tickets were purchased…transportation was all arranged……then the original sitter had to cancel the DAY BEFORE our trip started! We scrambled, and I put out several feelers for someone to watch our 2 Great Danes, who have some behavioral issues we’re ironing out. Amanda came to the rescue! Not only did she step up to the task of sitting for us, she came the night we decided to book (a day before she’d actually be sitting for us), so she could meet us and our pups….and she doesn’t live all that close to us, so that was pretty-well out of her way. She stayed with our ups and kept them happy—our biggest worry was that they might get in an argument with each other…..and they didn’t! Plus our shy guy actually ate while we were gone, which doesn’t always happen. We’re extremely happy with how everything went with Amanda helping us out!”

About: Dogs and cats love my hands-on, dependable care. Whether it’s timely feeding, active walking, tossing a frisbee or tennis ball or a soothing snuggle, your beloved dog will love to see me. You can rest easy knowing your companion is in good hands. I am available for overnight sits with advance notice as well as drop-in visits. Weekdays I can drop in as well as evening visits. I am also available for walks. Please note if you are farther than 15 miles from Bridgton, I will require reimbursement for fuel expenses. I am able to care for small dogs in my home but prefer to care for pets in your home due to restrictions in my HOA.

I currently don’t have any cats at my household but I have had the pleasure of raising two cats in my life. My pet care experience ranges from puppy/kittens to elder animal care. I’m located in Bethel,ME and spend most of my time playing in the mountains. Hiking,snowboarding,xc skiing,snowshoeing,trail running, biking. I’m also an artist and entrepreneur. I have a very flexible schedule working for myself and can accommodate most times of day or days for walks, visits, and overnight stays. Weekdays and weekends are open for me. I’m unable to pet sit at my home due to my dog kilo being a dominant breed. She’s incredibly friendly but can be territorial. I’m comfortable doing drop in visits, pick ups, and stays at your home if that’s an option you’d like. I’ve pet sit for friends,family, and rover clients for years.
