This is the first time I’ve ever had need of a pet sitter, and I chose Jenna partly because she had so many repeat customers. I can see why. She’s amazing! My cat Molly has some tricky eating habits and Jenna dealt with them perfectly. I also appreciate how Jenna treated me. I’m a bit of a worrier, and Jenna was very patient and gracious with this crazy cat lady! I would 100% ask for her again.

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely care about every pet I watch. I treat them like family, giving them love, attention, and patience so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive care for your pets. I love being outdoors and frequently walk around Lake Choctaw, so taking your dog along for exercise, fresh air, and extra attention would be a bonus for both of us! Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or companionship, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family! I provide a safe, loving environment for every pet in my care. I have three children who are respectful of animals and one small, friendly dog. I have two cats that stay in the basement with my nephew. While my yard is not fenced, pets are never allowed outside unattended and are always supervised on walks, potty breaks, and outdoor playtime. I follow each pet owner’s instructions carefully.

I have a puppy and Lisa was able to come take care of him twice a day while I was at work and on short notice, she sent me pictures and kept my worry at a minimum while I was gone. I came home to a puppy who was fed and happier than he would have been otherwise. Ill definitely be using her again!

About: My wife and I have grown up around animals and traveling and know the importance of making sure our four-legged family is well taken care of when out adventuring. We love walking, hiking, running, and staying active while also relaxing on the porch and enjoying the fresh air! We are happy to welcome your four legged family into our care and love while you are making memories! My wife and I both work an educational schedule with plenty of free time in the evenings and during holiday's. While we spend our days caring for students, we are always happy to come home and spend plenty of time with our furry guests! We have a quaint house with a lot of space and not many things for pets to get into. We have a couch with a nice window for sunbathing and the ability to crate pets if needed in a side room with a camera and noise machine. We also have two SUVs to transport pets to parks for walks and play, we do live near multiple parks and within a quiet neighborhood.

About: I have years of experience with doggos! My first bestfriend was a dog I once had. I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and would love to walk or babysit your dog anytime. I do need a week or two notice due to me being enrolled in college courses but I will try to be as flexible as possible! I grew up caring for my 4 dogs at my parents home and two fur nieces who are owned by my brother. My fur nieces would be the white and black husky and brown lab in my pictures. I have been dog sitting her since she was just a pupper. Love her! I am 21 years old and I adopted my first fur daughter a few months ago. She is a collie/dutch Shepard mix and is the biggest sweetheart and LOVES to play with other dog friends! My availability would be Monday and Wednesday nights after 4:30 due to classes and then all weekend all day every day! I live in a cozy but roomy one story apartment with my loving boyfriend and a loving doggo. I love long walks and runs, playing, and cuddles! I am a very patient person and I am very passionate about dogs! Dogs of all ages and breeds are welcomed by me, even pups! <3

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was young, I helped mom in the kennel and I also have had my own fur baby for 4 years! I’ve cared for her since she was nine weeks old! Every single day I feed my doggo breakfast and dinner, Make sure she gets to potty throughout the day and also has some play time! I try to bathe her at least once a week and also wash her food/ water bowls every time I do dishes. And I also enjoy taking her on car rides and into pets-mart In my own home we have taught my dog lots of fun tricks but the biggest things we have taught her is to only eat her toys, not actual items, ask to go outside, don’t jump on guests and give kisses. Although personally I don’t mind when a dog jumps on me or is kinda crazy. My dog is a nuthouse with the people she’s most fimiliar with. But whatever you want your dog to learn, I can collaborate with you to put our efforts together for the best outcome of your animal. If your pet is already grown, I’ll just stick with whatever you have already taught them! I will care for your animal in whatever way you feel fits best for them😊

About: Hi! I’m Emily, a passionate dog lover with experience caring for pups of all kinds, including special needs dogs and those with behavioral challenges. I’m currently completing a dog training certification and am excited to combine my knowledge with hands on care to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. At my home, dogs have plenty of space to relax and play. I have a large fenced backyard for outdoor fun and a dedicated dog room that doubles as an indoor enrichment and play area. I follow a school schedule, so I’m home by 2:30 PM on weekdays and off during the summer. This allows me to provide plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment for dogs, or quiet attention and care for cats. While I’m at work, dogs have a comfortable 4x6 kennel in a dedicated dog room, and the room doubles as an indoor play and enrichment space when the weather isn’t ideal. I can accommodate any requests that a client may have regarding their pets care. I always ensure to care for their pets as I would my own. Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a South Vienna stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in South Vienna. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
