“Becca was an excellent sitter in every way! I received detailed updates and my cat had everything she needed while I was away. Becca went above and beyond by becoming one of the first people my cat doesn’t hide from- which was astonishing. All that I was hoping for was to make sure she had water and assumed that she would just hide under the bed. Instead, I came home to a very happy little girl, who really wanted me to know she had made a new friend. Highly recommended!”

“Danielle did an amazing job watching my animals! She understood and handled our rescue dogs with patience and love. She also dealt with our cat and kitten expertly, making me feel so comfortable leaving them in her care! She took extra time to make sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. We'll definitely be scheduling visits again!”

“Mel was Amazing with Margaret! They were very understanding when our plans changed and flexible with our schedule. Mel sent an update daily and very communicative! Will definitely book again! 😸”

“Jessica was an amazing pet sitter! She was very responsive and gave me great peace of mind while I was on vacation. I received Rover drop-in notifications for each visit, complete with photos, which reassured me that my cats were well cared for. She also brought her daughter along, who was absolutely delightful and gave my cats some extra love and attention—I’m sure they appreciated it! I couldn’t recommend Jessica more and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: Pets and animals are precious to me. I’ve had small animals and medium dogs all my life. They deserve the best loving care. I have watched cats for friends. I’m a retired 48 yr old and looking for jobs I enjoy. I’ve provided medication for my own. So I can do those things. I understand dog signals and read what they want most times. I can tell when they are feeling bad, scared and happy. I try to calm and provide security for them as best as I can. I am retired and available for your pet(s). I am available most days and nights. I do have a couple days that I have Zoom meetings for couple hours which are Thursday 7 to 9:30 pm and Sunday’s 10-11:50 am. Some Saturday morning’s but I am flexible. I can pick up pets 3 hrs before these hours. I have a wide open yard but I don’t let dogs just roam on their own. I walk dogs outside on leashes. Most of my small dogs stay inside for safety. I walk my own dogs at dog parks when no people are around or go for small outings to get fresh air and a walk. I can watch at my place or near your place or hotel. Whatever makes you feel at ease and comfortable. My daughters small dogs are friendly. There are 3 yorkies and 2 chihuahuas. There is a room I can keep them to feel safe if they feel afraid. They can roam around the house. They are in safe loving hands because I want the owner to feel at ease and not to worry.

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

About: I absolutely love pets!! I currently have 4 dogs of my own who are my babies! Everyone that knows me knows my passion for animals!! They are like babies to me! I've had animals all my life and have experience working with animals! I was once a vet tech and also a dog bather! I cherish animals and get excited everytime I see one! I believe there is no better person to trust with any animal than me. I know how to groom dogs as well as nail clipping. I have experience with all ages from puppies to senior dogs. I feel when it comes to animals there is nothing I can not do or handle! If you have any questions feel free to ask! I am very flexible with my schedule, I am basically open 24/7 and can work around your schedule. Time and days should not be an issue. I have fully fenced front and back yard, my fur babies are very friendly with other animals. Your animals would basically be with me the entire time I am watching them.

About: Hello! I hope that this finds you well and excited for your time away. I grew up with three dogs in the house. One was a full sized doberman and the other two toy poodles. As a teenager, I fell in love with horses and went to horse camp every summer to augment the riding lessons that I took during the school year. I brushed them, rode, them mucked out their stalls and turned them out. As an adult, I became the loving, warm furniture for three cats and a dog and I also had more opportunities to be with horses. I have been a pet and house sitter in the past for friends and friends and family friends for their cats and dogs. In my travels and since becoming a professional house/pet sitter, I've learned to care for and milk goats, avoid protective roosters but still care for their flock of laying hens, and just how much personality a bunny rabbit can have. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, fish, horses, goats, and donkeys- oh, my! I am a lover of pets and their more wild family members. I'm the sort who gives them all nicknames about two minutes after I've met them. I meet them by letting them come to me and letting them set the pace. I don't push to make a relationship and always use the commands set by their owners making sure that they are followed. I intend to respect all beings as beings and not just as animals. Pet and house sitting allows me the opportunity to travel and more opportunities to focus on my writing. I'm rather quite/peaceful in my lifestyle and manor. I get along with most people because I believe that we should all be treated with respect and dignity while having good personal boundaries as well. Thank you for your time. If I've not spoken to your questions about me, please feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to supply you with the information you seek as well as from the long and short term sits that I've completed. I hope that you find the best sitter for your needs. Take good care. *Please allow me 24 hours to respond to any message. If your need is urgent, please begin your message with this and I'll do what I can to respond in kind. Once I'm your paid sitter, I do respond promptly. *Unfortunately, my drop-in and walking area of service in only in Las Vegas, NM. My greater service area outside of Las Vegas is only for overnight house/pet sitting. Thank you for your understanding. * I currently work mostly from home but sometimes pick up two to three shifts outside the home. Work outside the home can be limited to the hours that you require that I remain in the home. As you can see from the pictures, working from home usually is done on the couch or bed (if you allow this) with your/my snuggle buddy(s). Too, my work schedule gives me plenty of time to play with them as well as go on walks and any other care and feedings. I offer email, phone, text, video/video call (provided your internet will allow for me to send video/video call/pictures) contact options and will gladly send updates as often as twice daily. I always stick to the prescribed feedings and care schedules for your pet(s) and home. I never feed pets human food nor treats unless that's part of your outlined care and only when allowed. I do best when it comes to watering plants if you give me detailed instructions. I'm comfortable shoveling or blowing snow and mowing (very basic- no patterns) as needed provided you give me a walk through of your tools. I do prefer to arrive with enough time for you to give me a tour of your home though a walk through on video call works just as well for me. I'm not the type to snoop- you'll find nothing disturbed in your home but the areas in which I'm allowed. I'm generally tidy and always do a light cleaning before I leave. If I do sit for an extended, 2 month+, stay, I do a deeper clean while I'm in your home as well - dusting, vacuuming and mopping, moving easy for me to move furniture to clean under and behind. Please leave your home the way you wish to find it when you return.

“Carolyn was professional, friendly, and sincere. My cats were comfortable with her, which is alot. One of my cats would not let my mother see her for years, so it was remarkable that my cat let Carolyn pet her on the first visit!”

About: Hello I'm Madeline, and I'm here to care for your pet just as I do for my own! I love cats and dogs alike, and have taken care of many different breeds and personality types over the years. I've yet to find any pet that I can't handle! Your pets will be loved and cared for so you don't have to worry while you are away :) For Boarding: I live on 5 acres of a wonderful pinon paradise, where your dog(s) can play and hike to their heart's content! I take my own pup for 3 walks a day, so yours will get plenty of exercise. And if they don't mind the car, I'm happy to take them to parks and longer hikes if you like! They can sleep in their own bedroom or in a fully furnished cosy workshop if they prefer. I work from home so will give them my full attention 24/7. I pay very close attention to any specific needs for diet, behavior, or whatever special instructions you give. I love to send photos and updates as often as you like, so you can see they are happy and healthy! If it's drop-in visits only, I give my full attention to playing, hugging, entertaining your pets the entire time I'm there. I hate leaving my pets behind while I travel, so I know how to ensure other owners that their pets are cared for as if they were my own :) I currently work my own schedule so can be flexible with whatever your pets needs may be. If they are boarding in my home, they will have 24/7 attention. I own 5 acres with a good portion fenced in if staying at my home. I love energetic hikes and walks and will cater to your dog's fitness level. I take my own cat outdoors on a harness and would be happy to train yours too! Whatever level of care your pet is accustomed to, I will deliver the same while they are in my care.

About: I am a friendly neighborhood dog walker, available to care for your pets needs. Reliable, trustworthy, and a good communicator. I'm comfortable with cats as well. I currently work part time, and on my own schedule, so I am available to tailor my schedule to help better suit your pets' needs. I can come in a timely fashion to your home to feed, walk, and provide love and care for your animals. I have my own transportation and can take your animals to the vet in case of an emergency.

Karen-Joyce G.
“I’m currently on my 19th house/petsit of this year. If I have any question at all about a dog I’m currently caring for I call Karen-Joyce. She’s got years of experience not only as an owner but as a trainer, walker, sitter, vet’s assistant and volunteer at the local humane society. When owners leave their pets in the care of others they want them not only to be fed and walked and played with, they want them to be loved. No one I know loves dogs (and all animals, really) more than Karen-Joyce. She is passionate. The fact that she will go to the local humane society to walk dogs when she has the time is that passion manifested. Who does that? Someone who absolutely loves dogs. If it’s important to you that your dog is LOVED while you’re away, this is your gal!”

Melanie R.

“Melanie was very communicative with her updates about the kitties. Would definitely rebook and recommend her!”
