J&T are terrific! They understood my pet's personality the first time they met him. They also put me and my husband at ease about leaving our pet there for several hours twice a week. My dog never really has been around other dogs on a regular basis, so we were a little nervous about his behavior but he was fine and I believe J&T had a lot to do with that. We look forward to having our pet stay with them in the future ❤️❤️❤️

Brook took care of my dog and she treated her as if she were her own. She actually cares for the dogs. She communicated with me throughout the day and even sent me photos. I loved every bit of the experience. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be booking again!

Dorothy is great! Zoey is a timid, slightly anxious pup, but looked right at home during her first day of doggy daycare. She had a blast playing and lounging with the other pups. Dorothy is patient and very caring, and it shows. I know Zoey looks forward to going back!

About: Vet tech for 7 years now stay at home mom. My dogs are my children, and your babies will be treated with love just like I would my own. I normally will not crate unless very certain circumstances. It’s always precious to build a relationship with you and your babies, and I look forward to meeting you! I will do pickup and drop off for a little extra fee. I have many families that request me the night before and 90% of the time I am available! Important note- please be courteous and if you send me a booking but decide to not book, please decline the booking. This helps me plan accordingly and accept another request. Thank you! I have a home security system and a separate fenced off living room, if your baby needs their own space. I have a small mini poodle male who is very sweet and respectful as well as a blind but super playful 3 year old Maizie. I have also done plenty of in-house stays if requested. I ask parents to leave a list with important notes pertaining to schedule, diet and emergency contacts.

About: I have cared for animals most of my life, including dogs, cats, goats, rabbits and chickens. I love them all, but dogs are my favorite and I've been told I'm good with them. I have 2 dogs that I feed twice a day along with making sure they have fresh water. I also take them on walks for their health and enjoyment and I give them baths on a regular basis, along with occasional check-ups with the veterinarian. I have a large fenced yard in a safe neighborhood. I also have 2 crates at my house that guest dogs can use, one small and one large.

She's the best! I'm so glad she's available for my dog. She's new on rover, but she's definitely not new in caring for dogs. My dog loves it when I grab her overnight bag and mention Jessamys name😂..

Definitely found a dog sitter that my dogs and I are all comfortable with! Casey was very understanding and accommodating to my situation and my dogs. She put me at ease with her knowledge and friendliness. I have a dog that has had some seperation anxiety issues in the past. Casey was no stranger to this and asked many questions to make sure she knew how to handle him. Well...none of that information was really needed because my dog sure didn't act like he had anxiety issues around her. Casey is amazing!

About: Hello! My family and I are absolute pet lovers, and we would be thrilled to welcome your furry friend into our home. We know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind. Separation anxiety is incredibly common, and having a dependable, loving caretaker makes all the difference. When your dog stays with us, they become a part of our family. As a registered dietitian, attention to detail and proper care are second nature to me. I apply those same high standards to your pet, ensuring fresh water is always available and no meals or schedules are ever missed. You can fully relax on your trip knowing they are in safe, caring, and structured hands. I am available 7 days/week from 8AM-7PM. I am a stay-at-home mom, so my schedule is flexible for your pet's needs. I am never too busy to take care of your pet. I will make scheduled visits to your home to ensure your furry friend is fed and let outside. Your pet will feel more comfortable in their environment, and I won't miss or be late for a visit. I am open to taking in dogs, depending on the breed and personality.

About: Hey there! My name is Gabby and live out in McGregor Tx. Just down the highway from Woodway. My daycare services are perfect for dogs that are not great in a large dog setting and need more personal one to one setting in which they can relax and enjoy their day away from their owners without all the pressure and stress of a multi dog play setting. I have a private backyard with access to long country walks and private walking trails. You can expect your dog to receive a lunch, walk, play time and tons of cuddles upon every stay. Boarders recieve Breakfast and Dinner (owner provided) as well as a snack. I offer regular dog walks and drop ins for the dogs unable to come over personally or who may not be the best in a group. Doggy walks will always be a minimum mile (unless specified otherwise by the owner) and Drop-ins will include poop cleanups, play time and light housework if desired. I can also offer some quick obedience lessons if desired which just includes the basic doggy mind push-ups, sit, down, stay, come repeated a few times. I use positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. Please let me know if your dog has any medical requirements, a special diet or any allergies. I'm able to administer any medications as needed. Also am able to do basic grooming (nails, bathing, genital area clean up, matts). As well as light housework (dishes, laundry, ect.) I'm currently a full time pet mama so my days are spent caring for my own little flock of animals. I currently have my own dog I've trained to be a successful hunting dog as well as fancy chickens that live in the coop in the back. I also have a wide variety of tanked pets including a Leopard Gecko, Texas Rat Snake, Hamster and Betta fish so exotic pet care is also something I can provide for any herp and aquarium owners out there thinking about how they could manage a vacation. I wake up around 5am everyday to walk my Terrier cross and let him stretch his legs first thing. We walk at least a mile before I come home and check on my Chickens, Leopard Gecko, Hamster and Snake. I feed and clean water dishes. Then go and clean the fish tank and use the water to water the garden.

About: Hello!! My names Tatum I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, my best friend when i was born was a weenie dawg, but i’ve had 4 dogs total in my life. I currently have 3 cuddly cats and a 1yr old, big ol handsome lab! I can do day or overnight sitting in my own apartment, I know there’s no straight access to a backyard :(( but i take my dog to the apartments dog park twice a day for 30-90mins. My apartment also has a nice big field right outside my door that i take them to go potty as many times needed! I live with my fiance and we work opposite shifts so someone is always awake! I don’t have any experience with shot medications but i sure know how to hide a pill in some chicken or cheese! We have plenty of toys to play with and my lab LOVES making new friends, he always has a ton of energy to keep your furr baby busy! If your dog needs to be crated or isn’t crate trained i can accommodate that, i have big crate here or you’re welcome to bring your own. Im available for overnight boarding/day sitting on the weekends (Fri@4:00pm - Sun@11:00pm) I work full time(M-F) 2 minutes away from my apartment and can go home on breaks. And they wouldn’t mind if i needed to leave for 10 minutes for a potty break. So if you absolutely need me to watch on a weekday i can make accommodations. My fiance will be home during the day since he works an opposite shift but probably asleep. I also have a camera in the living room. We can crate if crate trained if you feel more comfortable with that! My puppy had a bad chewing habit when he was little, so we only keep the floors clean (except for toys of course) I can easily crate your dog if needed. Dogs are allowed on furniture for maximum cuddles :)

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your South Mountain commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 236 sitters in South Mountain, 81% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
