About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently have two side jobs that I have full control over, so I’m able to be flexible and available any time of day or week to care for your pet. Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evenings, I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs! When I’m caring for pets in their home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll follow any instructions you leave closely - whether it’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or giving medications. I respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident your pets and your space are in good hands!

About: Hi my name is Averi, I have been around animals my entire life but have the most experience with dogs. I do have a charcoal lab of my own who is now a certified service animal that travels around to nursing homes and comforts those in need of puppy love. I recently got back from traveling abroad and am looking for a side job to back up my part time job! I have a 11 month lab of my own so she gets 3 meals a day, plus plenty of exercise to tire her out at night. I make sure to take her on at least one big hike a week to make sure she is getting that experience, and am always taking her into public for socialization I treat others animals as if they were my own, I take pride that I treat animals very well and am always willing to do anything to make sure the owners is as comfortable as can be. I believe that in order to make an animal act right they need to feel comfortable and safe, which requires patience and a soft hand.

About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!

“Heather is the most loving, bubbly person ❤️ She abd her husband Ed instantly fell in love with my babies. I was sent pictures everyday, any issues outside the norm she addressed promptly. When I returned home, my house was exactly how I had left it ! My dogs were sleeping when I entered the door, which tells me they had everything they needed while I was gone. Thank You so much 💓”

About: I have had pets in my home for as long as I can remember, and throughout my time in my childhood home I cared for 6 cats and 3 dogs. I have working experience caring for reptiles, birds, and fish, and currently own two cute kitties and two wonderful dogs I am currently between full-time positions and have plenty of time to care for your animals. I send update texts during each visit and lock up tight when I leave so the kiddos are safe and secure.

We’ve worked with pets with mild to moderate anxiety, but we cannot accept pets with severe separation anxiety or behaviors that require 24/7 supervision — those pets must be picked up immediately due to causing high-tension and stressful situations for both your pet, and our family. We do not accept pets with: 🚫 Aggression or reactivity 🚫 Destructive behavior 🚫 Ongoing house-training issues 🚫 Unsafe behavior around children 🚫 Excessive barking, howling, whining 🚫 Inability to be left alone briefly for long stays 🚫 Have owners who are unresponsive to urgent concerns 🚨 Undisclosed Behavior Fees: Severe Separation Anxiety: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Excessive Barking: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Aggression or Reactivity: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Unsafe Around Kids: Immediate pickup or $250/Night 💛 Why This Matters We’re calm, patient, and truly love caring for animals — but on rare occasions, we’ve had difficult experiences with neglectful pet owners that created unsafe or stressful situations. That’s why we’ve set clear boundaries: to protect the peaceful, loving environment we’ve built and to prioritize clients who respect their pets and us — especially with a young child in our home. These policies aren’t meant to discourage who we service at our core - amazing loving pet parents. They simply help filter out mismatches so we can focus on what we do best: giving your pet a safe, happy, and loving stay. Thank you for understanding, and supporting care rooted in honesty, trust, and love. Availability: Joshua works full time from home, and Kaitlin stays home full time so we tend to have open availability to care for your loved pets.
