“Megan and her family are very kind and accommodating people. My Finn loved his stay and didn’t want to leave… there is a wonderful yard for guests to play… and he was taken on leashed walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again and I highly recommend her.”

“Christina took care of our dog for 10 days while we went on vacation. This was our first time using her and she made sure our dog was happy and comfortable! She responds to messages in a timely manner, was very reliable, and sent several updates with wonderful pictures of our pup playing! Our dog came back happy and with a fresh bath! I will definitely book with her again and have already recommended her to my family and friends. Thank you for making our vacation relaxing as we didn’t have to worry about our beloved pup and knew she was in great hands!”

“Alex was so great with my dog Cora! She's a newly adopted rescue, so I was nervous about how she would handle a new place/person but Alex helped her settle right in. She even made a few new doggy friends while she was there! Alex kept me updated on her & sent me pics, which definitely helped with my anxiety about her adjusting. I will definitely be booking Alex again next time I have to go out of town.”

“Nathan was so good with my dog, Ella! I was in the planning stages of a tentative trip when I reached out to him and he really took the time to answer all my questions and even ask his own to ensure a successful stay for Ella. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and so kind in his communication from the planning stages, during Ella’s stay, to pick up. He has such a warm and calm demeanor that put both Ella and I at ease. At drop off, Ella and he were fast friends and he really took the time to get to know Ella and help make her feel welcome and comfortable. He sent regular updates and pictures the whole time so I never had to worry how she was doing. And she had an absolute blast! She’s not the easiest dog, she’s still working on a lot and has a ton of energy and he handled her impeccably. He mentioned he has experience with rescue dogs and that really shown through in his demeanor and connection with her. She felt safe and was her playful happy self when I picked her up. He was nice and organized and had her things in order and ready when I got there. He had given her a nice walk and some water right before knowing she had a decent car ride home. I was just so impressed. Will definitely be back. Cannot recommend Nathan enough!”

“I really appreciated how clean the dogs were when I picked them up. They smell better than they did when I left them and their bandanas are adorably festive! Keeping my crew safe & clean is no easy task!! Thank you!!”

“I was anxious about leaving my dog with someone else for the first time in a new state. Kelly went over and above the call of duty to make sure i felt in the loop. She came home tired and happy!”

“I am beyond grateful for Tonya. I was able to take a once in a lifetime vacation because Tonya was there for me. I have a 20 year old very needy pup who isn't easy to care for. She took such good care of him and my home, even while, my smoke alarms decided to beep the entire 8 days. She is a patient woman. I hope you are lucky enough to book her.”

“I know I’ve already written a review but I had to come on and write another one. Ann and Peter are such amazing people. I truly do not worry about Sumo when we are gone. I know he is in the best hands!! They love him as if they were his own. I get constant text messages, videos, pictures and updates. Sumo is not the easiest pup as he can be feisty and needs some timeouts lol but Ann knows just how to handle him. Daily Reiki, exercise, treats! It’s a dogs dream! I think he had more of a relaxing vacation than we did. 🤣 I can’t say enough good things about Ann and Peter. Simply amazing!”

About: There has always been a dog, or two, in my home, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Your furry friend will be treated like family here! We go for walks a couple times a day, have shared or individual space, and have a dog door to a fenced in area throughout the day. Working from home, I am able to take the pups on walks at lunch and before and/or after work. They will have constant company throughout the day! I have a large yard to leash walk dogs, a finished/heated garage with a dog door to a fenced in area, so pups can go outside as they'd like between walks. I treat all animals as if they are my own; they are welcome on some furniture, have a warm and comfortable space, can meet dietary/medical needs, and will have multiple walks throughout the day.

“Caroline was wonderful and took great care of our sweet Maisey! She was communicative and super flexible with changes in our travel plans! Will definitely book with her again ☺️”

About: I had pets all through childhood and now I've got 4 dogs and 8 indoor cats plus some chickens and ducks. We also have 2 children who adore animals. My skills with pets is heating what they are saying and getting on their level, or giving them space If needed. I am on short term disability due to medical issues of the autoimmune variety so I am home all the time! I can let dogs out when needed and play with cats. I have lots of availability. I have a fenced in backyard for the dogs (6 foot high wire fence), crates, kennels, and rooms that can be shut off from the house, etc if necessary.

About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.

“Our pup, McMurphy, had an excellent time with Katie! She wasn't phased by any of the extra challenges of working with a puppy and we're really grateful to have found someone who cares so much for dogs and is so easy to work with. Thanks for helping his first stay away from us go so smoothly!”

“Our dogs had such a wonderful weekend with Marissa and her family! They take such great care of our pups and make sure they get lots of attention and stimulation. Marissa sends updates and photos every day that help ease our minds while we are away! We couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Alyx was wonderful to work with and we are very happy we found her! She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on Lucy's stay with messages and pictures. We were nervous leaving Lucy with a new sitter but feel confident that she was well cared for and given lots of one-on-one attention in her time with Alyx. We definitely recommend her!”

“Let me start by saying that Erin is an incredible dog sitter who clearly knows what she is doing and cares for doggies. She asked questions about how my dogs need to be cared for/ if they have any special needs, she asked about behaviors and how they like to be loved. I could tell when I picked them up that they’d been given everything they needed. (Plus, she has the sweetest dogs of her own). Will use Erin again for sure!”
