My Name is Sam I’ve had pets my entire life and for the last four years, I’ve started caring for others I recently just joined Rover and am excited to be able to help care for more animals while their families are away. I have experience caring for puppies, dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. Growing up, I had a Pitbull, German Shepherd, and a Chihuahua. I also grew up with a cat that had special needs and rescued a litter of kittens and provided all necessary medical care to the four kittens to ensure they were healthy and able to be adopted to great homes. From pet sitting, long or short walks, and boarding I’ve got experience with it all! My goal is to make sure your animal enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. I will maintain any schedules you have for your pet, administer medications if needed, and of course give your pet extra love and attention during your time away. Your pet will get lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. They have free range of the home unless requested from pet owners we do not crate any pets in our care, and we work from home your pet will never be alone! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 6 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well.

I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

About: We have been taking care of animals our entire life (both born on a farm). My [Jessica] love for animals led me to 4H at age 8 but I left that and started volunteering in shelters when I was 14 and I have been doing that and fostering ever since. In February 2022 I joined the Clermont County TNR team (Trap/Neuter/Return feral cats) and also opened up a cat rescue to help adopt through our team. I have cared for neighbors cats and dogs both in my homes and theirs where I would feed/walk/give attention to their pets. In clients homes we follow the list they have either left at their home or messaged me ahead of time for us to follow on how their animals are use to be cared for to help make them as less stressed as possible. About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! As far as my own pets go, I currently keep it to my cat, fish and my wonderful Bearded Dragon, Albus. From my own pets, work experience, and love of training, I really have worked with everything from lizards to rodents to dogs to elephants! One consistency throughout my experience is my love for animals, and my passion to improve the quality of their life! Specific skills: - Puppy/Adult dog training - Hoofstock care and training (goats, horses, exotics) - Reptile care I currently work from home, so I have the availability to work from wherever I need to. This also gives me the option to walk/train during my breaks. I have weekend availability as needed as well. About: I have taken care of pets for my entire life! I also have experience in senior care, like administrating medications and other accommodations. I am currently in my undergrad for medical illustration and I am taking pre-vet classes. You won’t find someone as loving and caring to your pets as I am. About: I used to raise a pug of my own since he was born. He lived until ten and half years old and passed away in 2023 due to hemangiosarcoma. He had it growing slowly over time for few years until the end. There is not much treatments to it which was frustrating and heartbreaking. But he had lived his best life and actually lived his life to the fullest with his silly, wild, and stubborn personalty along with his three legs. He will always be my half and in my heart forever. I am sorely missing him forever. He had been taken care of with plenty of food, love, attention and toys! He met so many people, other dogs including cats! He traveled to many places because he loved to explore! His favorite thing to do is sniff every plant in the nature and mark on them! He is fond over stuffed toys. I take him to vet regularly as necessary to keep tracking on his good health. I also has a lot of experiences with medium to large size dogs before such as black lab, German sheperd, and pit bull. I believe that dogs should be treated as family members with care/love and they are so much alike us emotionally. After all, I am a crazy animal lover and love the compassion/company from furkids. I own a home that I work out of as well. I do a family dog style stay, rather than kennel format I do family style boarding. I can stick to your routine or we can do something different like getting your dog out for more walks. I understand how difficult it can be to find a place for your dog to feel the same security they do in your home with your family. I realize many people are adopting dogs that need strong handlers dogs that may be reactive or have social issues. I also understand how difficult it can be to find a boarder who is skilled in this area and a handler that your dog feels comfortable and confident with specifically if they are reactive with other dogs. And it is for this reason, I only board multiple dogs if they live in the same home. I will not accept a cold booking without meeting the dog first. Based on 24 hour schedule extra days past scheduled time naturally occur extra fees. I work for myself from home so I make my own schedule daily. I can adjust to any schedule. I typically have the dog on a nice regular routine while here. I care for all pets as if they were my own. I only take one animal at a time all of my repeat clients return for this reason alone.

About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.
