“Rosan did a wonderful job watching Kennedy. She is nervous in new places and it seems like she was calm as could be in their home. She had a great time playing with their dog Auggie and came back home tired and happy. Would definitely recommend!”

“My dog and I were immediately comfortable with Michele. She went above and beyond to exercise Wilson and keep him entertained. I got multiple updates and he looks so happy. We recently lost our other best dog friend of 14 years it's such a relief to have a compassionate competent caretaker to help keep my Wilson 3 years old feeling attended to and not alone.”

“We can't thank Natalie & Patrick enough for the great care and love they showed Ziggy while they were watching him! They provided us with great updates throughout his stay with them. It was so nice to know that our pup was in great hands and having a great time. Their dog is also a great companion and Ziggy had a blast having a friend to hang out with during his stay!”

“John has been amazing. I was very nervous to leave my active, high-energy, anxious dog for a week but ended up feeling like she had the time of her life. She was SO happy with John. He provided frequent updates and photographs and gave her endless exercise and care. From the photos and her behavior afterwards, I can tell that she was so happy and well-cared for by John and his family. I would recommend him to anyone!”

“Second time using Brooke and will use her again as often as I can. She's fantastic. Smooth pickup/drop-off, great communication, and just makes everything easy. On top of that, my pup has a great time hanging with her dog Bailey and going on long daily walks. She brought me back a tired and happy pup! Thanks Brooke!”

“What a tremendous experience we had with Laura and her family. We recently relocated to the greater Burlington area and were so fortunate to find Laura through DogVacay. We were used to having a neighbor stay in our home when we were on vacation and this is the first time our dogs have stayed in another home - so, we weren't sure how they would settle in. About two-weeks before our trip we took "the kids" to meet Laura and her family for a "bark-n-greet" visit. She explained how things worked, we met their dog, they showed us the area and it was evident that she and her husband both love dogs very much. Their dog was great and all three got on well. When the time came for us to drop them off the night before the trip both my wife and I had full confidence that we could go and enjoy ourselves without any worries. We brought, at Laura's urging, the dog beds, bowls, food, and toys. We received regular daily photo updates, via text messages, from Laura that gave us peace of mind and made us laugh at how well they had settled in. Our dogs had a great time. Our older dog had to have daily meds administered and that went off without a hitch. They went on walks, went to the dog park, and became 50-pound "lap-dogs" during their time with Laura and her family. I wasn't sure they wanted to come back home! We highly recommend Laura and will be using her services again and again.”

“Sabrina did such a great job with our Frenchie, Stella! Normally, when we bring her to the kennel, she has to be on anxiety medication the whole time, but this time, she didn’t need it at all. Sabrina’s calm nature and peaceful environment were perfect. Plus, she has the friendliest kitty named Remi, which was a wonderful bonus!”

“We had a sitter back out last minute with a trip we had booked for a couple of months. We have a young, anxious, high strung dog and we were worried about leaving him somewhere that’s too stimulating, like a kennel. We were traveling from Maine to Vermont so I decided to try Rover and see if somebody could watch him for us in the city we were staying in, so we could be available if there was a problem. Paul responded quickly and accepted Bjorn’s stay within five days of the trip. We kept Bjorn during the day but we dropped him off in the evenings. Paul was quick to respond in all communications about Bjorn, whether it be about drop off/pick up, care, questions about how he was doing. He even problem solved when Bjorn was too nervous to use the bathroom, and asked me for tips when he was struggling to eat. We also got pictures throughout his stay. He made me feel super comfortable leaving my nervous baby with him and didn’t make us feel like Bjorn was too much (which I know he is). We appreciated Paul’s care of Bjorn so much, it really took the stress off during our trip.”

“Mary was super patient and gentle with Echo, who is fearful of new people and new situations. She met with him in advance to increase his comfort with her. I highly recommend Mary for your shy pet!”

“Ruchi was a wonderful care provider for our 11 year old Yorkie. He had 5 fabulous days being spoiled and pampered. Ruchi was great at sending me pictures and updating me throughout his stay .”

“Mary and her family embraced Merlin like a family member. Mary sent pics and frequent updates. Merlin seemed right at home and I had piece of mind knowing that he was in such a caring environment.”

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for my family’s, neighbors, and friends dogs, cats, and everything in between. I love being active outdoors and sharing that with fur babies makes it even better. I work 3 days 12 hour shifts at the hospital so I’m able to and would love to give your dog all of the time and care they need. I’m working at the hospital Sunday-Tuesday, 12 hour shifts, and I am available Wednesday through Saturday all day and am active and able to give your fur baby the time and care they need. I live in Burlington and within walking distance and short driving distance to the waterfront, dog parks, and walking trails and mountains. My apartment is kept neat and free of chewable things that shouldn’t be chewed on lol
“Jackie has been amazing with both our pugs! He has worked with our hectic schedule to make things so much easier for us. Thankful we found them. Our dogs love their large yard!”

South Burlington dog parents share their Rover experiences
When we picked Marcy up 10 days later, she pulled on the leash a little bit, but not anxiously. To me, that says she was glad to see me, happy to be reunited with her usual pack, but that she wasn’t distressed over being left behind. I could tell she got good care, and the pictures Kira sent showed a relaxed dog making herself comfortable. That’s a good dog vacation.
Dima was absolutely amazing! Dima took care of my dog for over a weeks time, and provided photos and updates regulary, and reached out with any concerns as soon as possible. I cannot express how greatly I appreciated the time Dima spent ensuring my dog was comfortable, ensured he acclimated to the new space, and got exercised. Dima even shared some behavior modifying suggestions to address my dogs barking for attention, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything!
