“Amber is absolutely wonderful! She came over a few days before her first shift to meet my dog which made me feel better! She was very attentive to my anxious baby and kept me updated at all day. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Ashley was a fantastic sitter for our old pup. I appreciate that she came for a meet and greet to familiarize herself with Piper and his needs. We immediately felt comfortable with Ashley-- through our conversations it became very clear that she has a passion for animals. Ashley sent us updates and photos throughout the day. I highly recommend Ashley and have no reservations asking her again if we needed her. Thank you, Ashley!”

“We had Bryanna stay at our house to watch our puppy for a few days. She did come by to meet us and Luna ahead of time to get to know Luna and her schedule. Bryanna did a great job with our puppy Luna. She communicated back and forth as well so we were able to know how things were going while we were away.”

“Chelle was an outstanding in-home sitter for our cat and elderly dog! She provided excellent, loving care for our pets, was a spotless house guest, and communicated with us in a timely fashion while we were away. I would highly recommend Chelle for any services you may need!”

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors/family/parents of friends’ homes and pets since I was a little girl. I enjoy pet sitting because it gives me a reason to get outside and move my body, something I don’t (yet) do for myself… And of course, pet therapy is an added bonus. I work 3x a week at my “full time” job, 8 hour shifts, on the west side of Madison. This leaves me with ample flexibility and free time - I work from home about half of the time. I prefer long term stays for this reason, and most, if not all, save my memory, of my past pet visits have been for 3 or more days. First, I let the pets warm up to me, giving them the floor to tell me what they want. I stay with the pets as much as is possible so that they don’t feel alone, and I give them attention, affection and love while their parents are away. We go for long lazy walks each morning and night, at the least, and play with toys/prep puzzles/exercise their minds, if applicable. I care for the animals as if they were my own babies, because they are for the time being, and we have such fun adventures. Each one of them have unique personalities, and it’s for my pleasure to spend time with them!

About: With 8 years of personal experience caring for my own dog, I bring dedication and love to every pet I look after. Although I don’t have much experience I ensure they receive daily walks, balanced meals, and lots of affection. I have the flexibility to devote ample time to walks, playtime, and ensuring my dog gets the best care possible. I am currently only doing this as a summer job before I go back to college! This not only keeps dogs happy and healthy but also gives me a sense of purpose and joy spending time with them! I have 8 years of personal experience caring for my own dog, ensuring they receive the best care possible. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate the time and attention needed to keep dogs happy and healthy. Additionally, my current summer job is focused solely on pet care, which means I am fully committed to providing top-notch service. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to caring for a beloved pet, and I am dedicated to treating your dog with the same love and attention I give to my own.

“It was so nice to have Bella cat/house sit for us on our recent trip. So comforting to know our cats had a person to spend time with in the evenings and give them lots of attention. She also left our place super clean! Would definitely ask back. Thanks Bella!”

“Renee was great right from the meet and greet to the last hour. We have 2 very friendly Rottweiler's which could be intimidating to some, but she gained thier's and our trust right away. She was excellent with following up with photos along the way, and asked questions while we were gone which we welcomed. Renee was a perfect fit for our situation which includes house and dog sitting for a few days up to a week.”

About: Previous employment I'm skilled with breaking up dog fights, grooming animals, walking animals, training animals, etc. It would be my absolute pleasure to give your pets some love while you're away. I like to stay busy, so if I have free time I prefer to fill it rather than not do anything. I have a heart for animals and if I can occupy myself by helping care for others pets, why not do just that? My pet has a lead that is within our homes perimeter so she cannot go into neighbors yards, I also have a kennel for her to be put into if need be. Depending on others houses, usually there is a fenced in yard for the pet to be let out in, I still prefer to watch when they get let out just to make sure they don't misbehave.

“Jackie took very special care of our animals while we were gone! Our dogs are on the older side; Jackie helped our Dane get up when needed, gave her meds, and made sure all the animals had all the love and attention we would have given them ourselves! This was our first time having someone stay in our home, and Jackie made it an easy choice. We would welcome her back anytime!”

About: I have a big heart for all animals. You can count on your dog/cat provided with genuine care and attention. Since starting Rover, I have come in contact with all types of furry friends, all of them being great experiences. Whether your fur baby likes long walks, quick runs, or is a couch potato, I will fit to all of the needs and wants. I would love nothing more than to be able to help another during a busy week/weekend, or just a busy life. When it comes to availability, I work very well on a schedule - as well as being able to have flexibility. I am off every weekend and Monday, with lots of random days off here and there. I can also make time before or after work. I can promise your fur babies will be treated with more than enough attention, love and respect. I am a part time worker in Portage, Wi. I work (typically) Tuesday - Friday but take quite a bit of work off, when given the opportunity, to spend time at home with my toddler. We are in the works of getting a fence around our yard and hope to have once come fall of 2025. My pets are my children. They are spoiled and loved deeply. We have a long yard leash that our puppy uses as well as constant supervision when outdoors.

About: In 1987 I spent my first communion money on Pee-Wee the parakeet and haven't looked back. I come with 36 years in the responsible pet-owning department. It has been time-consuming, heart-breaking, and expensive, but worth it. Currently, three cats and two dogs let me live with them. It would be easier to list the pets I haven't taken care of than the ones I have. They are reptiles (I prefer not feeding animals to other animals), and hobby farm animals, which i hope to have one day. Walks: I need them. Your dog needs them. 30 minutes strolls. Unfortunately I can't pull off the days when the sidewalks are icy. Daycare: I'm limited here because I have a small, elderly pup in the house. I can offer your dog an hour of energy-burning activity in my large, fenced-in backyard. There are a lot of bushes and trees so treat them for ticks and fleas. One dog at a time for now. House-sitting: There are several levels of care and a lot of trust involved here. We can meet to hash out the details and see if we're all good match. Consistency is important when it comes to your pets schedules and who takes care of them. Right now, this is my main job so I can establish that consistancy. Having so many pets over the years, I understand the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are in caring and competent hands. My dad and friend are my "Rover". Let me be yours

“Based on my experience, when i got last last-minute dog and i needed to go to work. I have no one willing to take care of the dog. The miracle worker is Ashley willing to take care of an average puppy dog, she took her outside and communicated with me through text without any problem. Also, she does have a small dog in her home. She does have experience with cats as well. I 100% recommend her.”
