About: I have over 20 years experience taking care of other people’s “fur babies”. I love them like they are mine. I am very responsible, dependable, observant and able to handle any unexpected situations that might arise. I am self-employed and work part-time so I have a lot of availability. I have the ability (and desire) to give pets quality time and attention. Every pet is unique and their needs are different. Some pets prefer physical connection while others prefer having a ball thrown for them to chase. Like us, pets each have their own love language. About: Hi! I’m Ella, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had at least three dogs and a few cats in the house, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I have over 8 years of pet-sitting experience and have cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Dachshunds to big German Shepherds. I’ve worked with puppies who are still potty training, senior dogs who need a little extra help, and pets who take daily medications (I’m pretty good at sneaking pills into turkey when needed 😉). I love being outside, so if your dog has lots of energy and enjoys long walks or hikes, we’ll get along great! I only have 1–2 clinical days a week, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule otherwise. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet them! I know our pets are family, and leaving them in someone else’s care can be stressful. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re away! Exceptions can be made if you are looking to book your two bonded doggos together at once :) I have one 4 year old male dog that is gentle and playful and will be glad for the company. I work full time from home, and travel for work occasionally (mostly in the summer). I will only accept bookings during weeks while I am working fully from home so that I can provide the best care. On my days working at home, I am able to take breaks freely, allowing me to go on walks and runs frequently. My house is situated along the forest line, and there is ample open space and trails accessible. I have a large fenced in deck that I leave the door open to during the day, for your dog and mine to enjoy the fresh air and to return inside the home unrestricted. The deck is within eyesight of my work desk. For exercise, I would be walking them on the trails behind my home.

Currently I’m studying to become a veterinarian, having this opportunity helps me get more experience and become better at it.
