About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :) I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. I plan to be home full time most days but things do come up. If I need to be away I will always prioritize coming back to care for the pets. I'm very comfortable with all dogs no matter the size or breed. I have handled a variety of dogs from timid to major explorers. Any instructions given to me I will happily follow. I have always had a easy time connecting with dogs! They are truly mans best friend and I understand just how much they mean to their families :)

About: I've grown up around animals of all kinds and have also provided care for many of them along the way. I take pride in ensuring any animal in my care is safe, happy and healthy from the day they arrive to the day they leave! (We have a female dog who we'd love to let meet more friends, if possible!) About: I put 30+ years of pet care experience on here but it’s really more like 45. I’ve been taking care of our family pets since I was 8 years old. I always took care of family and friend’s pets, stayed at their homes when they needed me to watch them or just played with their fur babies so they wouldn’t be alone during the day. I feel a very kindred connection towards dogs and cats (& other animals) and give them as much love and happiness as I can. I’m currently working part-time as a substitute teacher, so I have a lot of availability on the weekends and during the day, especially during the summer and spring break. Additionally, I create a schedule so I can work around yours and mine. I have a fenced in yard, but walk my dog daily on a leash when I take him out. He is showered in love and is very well behaved.

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life- cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, etc. I've taken care of pets of all ages, from young to senior. I am available all days of the week, including the weekends. My time schedule is flexible and I would also be able to do drop in visits or stay overnight as well. By following owner specific instructions when given, I strive to make both the pet(s), and thus the owner, feel safe while under my current care.

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 , and I've always had a passion for them. When I was younger, I would read books about every type of dog I could get my hands on. I'll be good for your pets because I'm able to adjust to every individual need for your animals. I've watched dogs for friends and family for many years while they were on vacation. I have spent the last few years working in commercial pet care at various daycare and boarding facilities. This includes dogs, cats, birds and various small rodents. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make your dogs, and yourself as comfortable as possible. I'm happy to go on frequent walks of any duration or difficulty. I used to take one of my own dogs hiking so I'm willing and able to do whatever they are used to. I'm also happy to be at your home as frequently as you'd prefer, and I'd love to maintain open communication with you while you are away. I have also recently acquired a PACCC certification. I’m freelancing at the moment so I have an open schedule at the moment. I am available Mondays, and Wednesday - Saturday. Sundays are also available upon request. I always prefer to meet with pet parents so I can be aware of any potential safety problems in the home and when walking dogs I like to bring a secondary slip leash to use so that in case anything happens to the first leash/collar, your pet is unable to slip away from me.

About: Hello I currently own 2 dogs and 3 cats. My friends, family, and neighbors rely on me when going on trips to help out with their fur babies. Doing their feeding, taking them for walks, playing with them, giving them medication if needed or just keeping them company. I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. To do drop in visits, or walks it’s also helpful that I’m home all day to keep an eye on your babies and play with them on my breaks. I have a fenced yard big enough for your pet to run around, or play with my dogs that enjoy company. Either your pet likes to play outside with toys or receive lots of cuddles, or walks. I do require a meet and greet before setting anything up to see if everyone gets along.

About: I’ve been an animal lover all of my life! I move frequently so I can’t have a pet just yet. This makes it easier because I still get to spend time with animals! I live with my girlfriend so we can both help take care of your animal! This allows us to work together to make sure your pets needs are met! About: I have had two Great Danes, an Anatolian Shepard mix, a great Pyrenees mix, and I currently own a pit bull. So truly no dog is too big or too small. Our furry friends are like our family and I would like to treat your like my own while you are away. I work from home so I am very flexible with my work schedule. I will work with you to make sure that your pet is getting the care they need throughout the day. I do have a fenced in yard but due to the breed of dog I personally own in home care in my own home will not be available. I am more than willing to travel to you and take care of your pets in your own home.

About: I have recently transitioned to a stay at home mom, which opens me up to caring for your fur children. I have grown up around dogs all my life, our family has a 4 month old Australian shepherd who is very social! My husband and I have 3 young sons who also are animal lovers. I am currently a stay at home mom and very flexible with my schedule, but will have the most flexibility on the weekends. Late morning and early afternoon would also be available We do have a large yard, our mini Aussie Bella loves the space to run! Our home is spacious and plenty of room for your pet to explore!

About: I'm Nickie, and on top of being an overall animal lover, I've had a number of pets in my life, and worked in the vetmed world for more 10 yrs. I'm firm with pets when necessary, but I'll love them as my own instantly. I believe in taking my time with them, and letting them come to me. In the case of cats, I dont take it personally if they run and hide. (We all know they do everything on their own terms anyway.) I've learned messes happen, and don't shy away from cleaning them up. Should I be invited into your home, I am respectful and courteous. I do everything I can to work with you and your animals' schedules. I mostly work for myself from home, but also work part-time as a special asst ~10hrs/week. Overall, my schedule is quite flexible. As for my own little zoo, I have a female pitbull named Annie B. Nannie, two female kitties named Freddie Spaghetti and Penny Parmesan, and chonky male cat name Kevin Pickles. He's 2 years younger than all my girls, but is bigger and the main bringer of chaos. I have a part time personal asst role about ~10hrs per week in Lake Forest (days vary from week to week), but primarily work for myself from home the rest of the week. These positions allow for a pretty flexible schedule to work within your animal care needs. Should you want something outside what Rover allows you to choose (sometimes odd requests/needs happen), just select what is closest and send me a message to explain. More often than not, we can make it work with a bit of explaination/clarification. I care for your animal family members in your own home and work with them on their terms, and at a pace that feels comfortable to them. I understand messes can happen and nerves can get the better of some, while others instantly want to be my new best friend. I work with patience, kindness, understanding, and respect. I am unable to care for your furlings within my own home at this time, but am happy to go to you.

About: Your dog(s) will be able to run around and go exploring on 2+ acres of my securely fenced yard or if they prefer to take long naps by the fireplace that can be arranged as well. Your dog's individual needs will come first. I work from home so I am able to monitor them all day/night long. I grew up with a variety of animals and I worked as a vet assistant for small and large animals in the past. Taking care of animals is my passion and I believe each animal senses that and immediately feels at home. I can watch your cat(s) or other exotics as well. Ideally, I would like to help others enjoy their time off knowing their pets are having a great time. If interested, we can set up a booking with a pet photographer. I have a variety of animals on our farm that need care throughout the day. The dogs love to "help out". We stay pretty busy everyday checking on the well being of our pets. My acreage is completely fenced in. The dogs are mainly in the backyard where I can watch them at all times when outside. Inside the dogs have access to all the main rooms. I have crates set up for dogs that like to use them. There are dog beds scattered throughout the first floor so dogs can chose where they want to hang out.

About: I have had animals of all walks of life since I was a child. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, fish, bunnies and even a donkey. Animals have naturally been drawn to me and I have often been the only one to help an animal. I show all animals unconditional love and care. I have nursed senior dogs until they need to cross the rainbow bridge. I am available for early morning, afternoon and evening help. I work from home and have the flexibility to meet the needs of a pet in my care. I am not able to care for animals in my apartment. All services will be on site for the client and their pet. I will adhere to the clients wishes for their pet once we establish a relationship.
