About: Hello pet parents of wonderful pups and kitties of all shapes and sizes! 🐾 My name is Alexa, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life: dogs, cats, and even jellyfish (yes, really - I used to care for them in a marine biology research lab during my undergraduate at Penn State!). I've personally owned three dogs and three cats over the years, including my current family pets: a sweet German Shepherd named Willow and a spunky tortoiseshell cat, Hazel. I’ve cared for pets both big and small, from a 100-pound shepherd to a tiny 17-year old yorkie named Harley. As a remote project manager in kidney disease research, I have the flexibility to provide consistent, responsive care. In 2023, I spent extended periods of time in Virginia caring for the sweetest pets, Ellie (a golden retriever) and Harley (the yorkie), and I regularly help friends and family with pet care. Since I’m staying put in Pennsylvania for the next few months, I’ve decided to officially open up my availability on Rover again! I’m also an avid hiker and trail runner, so if your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to help with that! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, quiet companionship, or a structured routine, I’m happy to adjust to their style and needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat care. I do not offer boarding or care in my own home at this time. I’m comfortable with senior pets and pets who need a little extra TLC. As a project manager, I understand how important communication is. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I am a full-time remote project manager, so I have a relatively flexible routine. My meetings are mostly from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET, but I have the availability to step outside to take a walk, feed animals, etc.. I take safety, trust, and respect very seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. While living on my own in Virginia, I cared for two dogs, one of whom was a senior with special needs, for extended periods, treating their home as if it were my own. I maintain a clean and calm environment, follow all care instructions closely, and make sure pets feel secure and loved in their familiar space. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I make sure to familiarize myself with local veterinary clinics, emergency contacts, and any specific care instructions before starting any visit. I believe preparation is key to providing dependable, responsible care, and I’m always just a message away with updates and photos to keep you in the loop.

About: I have dogs whole my life. I did take care of my friends cat and dogs. Clean litter. Take dog outside to potty. Feed dogs and cat Walk dogs. Play with them like fetch pet I would like do in my mother hours like when my son goes school 9am to 1pm or afternoons from 2 pm to 7 pm. I will to take dogs out, feed them and play with them. About: I've taken care of animals of every kind since I was nine. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, give medication, bathe, and love their pets and to safeguard their home while away. I can entertain and care for the fluffiest GIANT dogs but your cats, rats, and ferrets will be given just as much love. My schedule is currently quite flexible. I would be happy to accommodate each client's individual needs, including being available to help with third-shift workers and their schedules. About: I’m a full time certified veterinary technician! So I have experience with all different breeds, ages, and personalities of dogs and cats! Before going to college, I would often pet sit for family and friends when needed. Because of my job, I know how to give medications, injections, trim nails, express anal glands, etc. I have a B.S. in veterinary nursing and recently passed the state board to become certified. I have 3 Australian Cattle Dogs - Bentley, Beau, and Scout. And also 3 cats - Josie, Luca, and Finn! I currently work full time during the week. I have off on Tuesdays and weekends. I could easily stop in after work other days during the week however. I’m more than willing to take the time to leash walk all dogs in the house if you don’t have a fenced in yard. Just let me know what works best for them!

About: I had a dog all through my teenage years, ages 7-19. I also have helped taken care of my friends and families pets to walk, feed and play with them. I am currently working full time but still have plenty of time to take care of your dog! My work schedule isn’t a typical M-F so please feel free to talk to me so we can work out the best time! Your dog will never be unsupervised and there are no other pets in my home. I do have an open yard that depending on each dog, we can play there!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs every kind for 10+years. Friends, families, neighbors they have all relied on me to take care of their pets and still it’s really not like a job but a dream. I currently don’t work , so I am available literally 24 seven to take care of pets of all kinds except Sundays but text or call at anytime. I have a big yard away from the highways I live in the country and I have two friendly dogs to keep company with any kind of other pet visitors we might have.

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs. Taking care of them has been in my daily routine since I can remember. Throughout my high school years I dog sat frequently which allowed me to get experience with all types of breeds. I am currently a college student & miss having animals in my daily life & will care for your pets like they are my own. About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. Currently I have 2 dogs which I watch and walk on a regular basis for friends and this has prompted me to want to do this for others as well. I do have experience caring for wounds and giving oral/topical medication. I have also done insulin shots in the past but it has been a while. I currently work full-time Monday thru Thursday and would have available time Thursday evening thru Sunday evening to perform walks or other pet siting needs. I routinely inspect the home space yours or mine for hazards and cleanliness. I currently have a small fenced area where your dog can easily have free time. I also enjoy visiting dog parks and walking well maintained trails. If pet sitting for a cat litter boxes will be cleaned 2x daily or as requested by client.

About: I have had pets since I was a child that included dogs, cats, and various hamsters. I loved caring for them even at an early age. I started working on a horse farm at age 10 that included caring for horses and sheep. I am responsible and dependable. About: Since I was little i have always loved spending time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I have been taking care of dogs. Last December I adopted a puppy and he has been my main priority since. Spending time with dogs is what I believe to be the best way to spend my time! Currently I am a student in highschool and I participate in Track and field. I work at a local golf club, but the schedule is pretty open. I would be open mainly weekends or most weekdays after 5:00 unless I have a track meet. Currently I care for three dogs in my home. Two littles and one very big dog. We have a large yard but we keep our dogs leashes when they go out. Therefore in order to give them exercise we take them on long walks. As a caretaker I would be sure to put your pets safety first as well as any rules you place.
