About: I have years of experience caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to laid-back seniors, and I treat each one as if they were my own. My home features a secure, gated yard where pets can safely play and relax, and as a runner, I enjoy keeping active dogs engaged with plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a jog around the neighborhood, I make sure your pet stays happy, healthy, and stimulated. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as a medical student off for the summer, giving me plenty of time and flexibility to focus on your pets needs. In my home, pets enjoy safe, gated yard playtime and plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether in my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, exercise, and cuddle time included—while keeping them comfortable, happy, and stress-free in a familiar or home-like environment.

About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I have experience caring for every breed of dog imaginable. Never found one I didn't love to the moon and back. I am a firefighter so my schedule can vary but I'll have lots of time to care and love your pup and give them all the scratches they deserve. I treat others' homes just like my own, if not better. I also don't mind grabbing your mail, feeding other pets, or watering plants if needed.

“I never mind leaving Tulla at home when I know Alicia will be there to take care of her her. I am always confident of how well she will be taken care of and loved. Thank you Alicia”

About: I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like. I am a stay at home dad with my 5 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed. I have a small fenced area for bathroom breaks, but the rest of my property (half an acre) is not fenced in. My own dogs are allowed off leash because they are trained, but for safety I would not allow rover dogs off leash in the non fenced portion of the yard.

“Mary Kate is a very nice and loves animals. Sshe took care of my border collie this past weekend. Timely updates and sent me pictures of Katrina out playing in my yard. I highly recommend Mary Kate to care for your pets.”

About: With 3+ years of professional experience working with animals, as well as 26 years of being surrounded by hundreds of pets of my own, my goal is to create the best, most memorable time for your animal friends. I treat every animal as if it's one of my own. From dogs to cats, rodents to reptiles, ducks to goats, and from newborn to senior, sick or in good health, I have cared for and nurtured just about any domesticated animal throughout all stages of life and am here to make sure that, no matter what, each and every animal is as happy as can be, because they deserve it. Four years ago, I lost my dog, Sugar, who I had since I was nine years old. We grew up together, and she meant everything to me. I've been trying to figure out how to fill that void ever since she left, but it's been tough man. Then I came across Rover. Now, I get to spend time with everyone else's dogs, and I see Sugar in every single one of them, which makes me want to give them the time of their lives. I appreciate everyone letting me watch after their pets. Most people do this for money; I do it, genuinely, because I love animals. Not just dogs, not just cats, but everything else in between. I've worked on farms and at pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and rabbits, and even bred rodents for years - not to sell, but rather, just to care for and love. So this definitely is not limited to just canine and feline friends. I will care for any kind of animal. I have experience with them all. I work as a supervisor on 3rd shift right across the street from my house at a pet food manufacturing plant, making it super easy to take great care of your pet even throughout the night. I am home all day from 8am until 10pm, so there is really not much time ever where I won't be able to give your pet the care that it needs! I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your dog to run outside freely and plenty of room inside as well for a dog or cat or any other animal to roam about and go wherever their little heart desires. I have a young indoor cat who is very friendly and playful, a senior cat who stays in hiding, as well as two pet ducks that roam the yard who love friends. They have an enclosure of their own to lock them in if you are unsure of how your pet may react to ducks.

About: I used to work at an animal shelter as a canine caregiver, where I worked with dogs of all different breeds, ages, sizes and backgrounds. I am currently a college student with a lot of free time and would love to spend that time doing what I love, working with dogs. I try to stay at the client’s home where the animal is the most comfortable. The client would normally show me their routine with the animal and I would try my best to follow as closely as possible during my time there.

“Staci did a great job with my elderly cocker spaniel. I felt very secure knowing that she was taking care of her during my vacation out of town. I received several pictures and updates on how she was doing while I was gone. I would definitely book her again to care for Tulla. Thank you, Staci?”

“Cassandra did an amazing job taking care of my 3 cats. She was very quick to respond if i had any question or concerns and showed real genuine care for my animals. She was my first sitter on Rover so i was kind of nervous about the whole process but she really made everything very easy and i was able to focus on my vacation and what i needed to get done.”

“Tiffany was an excellent and professional pet sitter. She covered the Christmas holiday, came at exactly the times I wanted, cleaned the litter box every day and sent daily pictures of her playing with my cat. She also went above and beyond to help me do some remote testing of our heating system.”

“Heather was an excellent kitty sitter while we were away. She always kept us informed with text messages and pictures every day. Our one cat Oliver absolutely loved her, Our other cat GC is very shy and tends to hide around strangers, but Heather took the time to find him without stressing him out to check up on him. We would definitely hire her again.”

“Amanda was great! We ended up needing to modify our plans somewhat with respect to timing of her visits , and needed a regular "heads-up" on her visits. She kept us consistently informed as to when she would be arriving at the house. Would definitely try to use her again.”

“Jade is a wonderfully eager and communicative pet sitter! She cares about my critters, is very flexible with medicating, and with my unconventional pine cat litter. The photos and updates she provides make me feel really comfortable with how my kitties are doing. Thank you Jade!!!”
