“Bethany was the most incredible dog sitter...I could not have asked for a more flexible, understanding, and caring person (along with her family!) to take care of Rustler while I was in town for a travel nursing assignment. Even with my long hours at work, Bethany always accommodated and sent updates on the day. I would absolutely recommend Bethany to anyone in the area or just passing through, and I will be using her again if I am back in the area!”
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs and cats. I love taking them for walks, the park or helping them learn to swim. I know the importance of giving dogs medications and taking them to appointments. I also keep dogs well groomed while I watch them I currently work full time 5 days a week but but will spend all my free time taking care of your pets. I will check on them throughout the day during work if needed I live in an apartment that has 1 bedroom. The apartment complex does allow animals. I have ring cameras in my place and outside my place to make sure I’m always able to see if my home and the animals are safe
About: I’ve been caretaking for all types of animals for over 15 years. From training puppies to pampering seniors & everything between, I’ve been the go-to for neighbors, friends & family when it comes to their pet care needs. As a farmer, I have a flexible schedule to provide for your needs & have been a farm-sitter for many satisfied folks! I work part-time (have those days blocked off my pet care calendar), so I will be able to give 100% of my time to your pet(s). I am available during the day to walk your pet(s), give them a potty break, play with them, feed them, show them attention & so on. I am also available for doggie daycare in my home where I can provide utmost safety & playtime. My care regimen is flexible & can be catered to individuals’ needs. I have a large yard & many spare 15-20ft leashes to keep your pet safe while providing quality playtime. I also have a dog to help keep your fur baby company while in my care! Your dog can hang out with us in my home, or upon your request I can crate your fur baby & take them out for as many walks/potty/play breaks as you’d like.
About: We are a couple of dog lovers and experienced caretakers with three dogs of our own. We actually met on Rover many years ago! We are committed to offering a level of care and quality that puts you and your pup at total ease. Our #1 goal is to create a peaceful, safe, happy environment for your dog. We are attuned to how dogs respond to energy and emotions, and we remain calm and patient with all animals under our care. Pet care is central to our daily routine. One or both of us will almost always be home while your pet stays with us. Each day centers around creating a positive experience for your dog, with a healthy mix of activity and relaxation. Our home is a peaceful place for dogs to be themselves. Kirsten is a yoga teacher, and Steven is a massage therapist, so together we are very good at creating a calm environment! Our three-story house offers plenty of space to sprawl. The fenced yard is big enough for dogs to zoom to their hearts' content. The outdoor deck is a perfect place to watch birds and squirrels. Your dog will feel like they've stepped into a Bob Ross painting! Our dogs would love to play with yours, but if you prefer no contact with our dogs, we can offer private living quarters. All dogs are given free range of the house unless private quarters are requested. You can rest assured knowing your baby is living their best life on their doggy retreat, so you can be present and enjoy your own travels.
“FANTASTIC!! My girls LOVED their time w/this great family!! Delightful experience!! Truly INCREDIBLE people….so gracious & loved my dogs like their own!! Highly recommend!! Thanks SO MUCH!!”

“Regina is wonderful watching our Schatzi. When Schatzi arrived she was excited to be there. She was a little bit shy because she heard another dog, but I know she settled in quickly. When we picked her up, she was happy but was tired out from all her excitement of the day and needed a nap :)”

About: I’ve cared for dogs throughout my life and have experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. As an owner of an energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, I’m especially comfortable with dogs that require lots of exercise and mental stimulation. I’m comfortable: * Administering oral medications * Caring for senior dogs with special routines * Managing high-energy breeds * Following detailed care instructions * Safely introducing and separating dogs when needed * Providing individualized attention based on each dog’s personality and needs My goal is to give every dog a safe, fun, and relaxing stay while giving owners peace of mind through excellent communication and dependable care. I work from home full time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervised outdoor play, regular exercise, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I do my best to maintain your dog’s normal routine, including feeding times, walks, medications, and bedtime schedule, to help them feel comfortable and at home. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. My home offers nearly an acre of securely fenced outdoor space where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. As the owner of an energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, I’m experienced with high-energy breeds and understand the importance of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and carefully following any special care instructions. If needed, I can safely separate dogs during meals, rest time, or throughout their stay to ensure everyone is comfortable. I treat every dog like a member of my own family and provide regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
About: I have been grooming for 14 years and offer boarding. I offer one on one services for all pets. Contact for appointments to book for grooming or boarding. Groomong and boarding is what I do full time and I'm home almost all the time so your babies will always be looked after and have me around them watching over them. I have fenced in yard and have separate kennels for each Pet so everyone will be separated unless owners are ok with them interacting with my own personal dogs who are very friendly.
“Shelly is very caring, flexible to our schedule. Lola loved it at Shelly’s place- she was happy each morning when we dropped her off .. fantastic I highly recommend Shelly’s pet care!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies just a few weeks old to senior dogs. I’ve helped care for litters alongside their mom, worked on basic puppy training, and understand the extra patience and attention both young and older dogs need. I’ve pet sat many different breeds and enjoy keeping dogs active with walks, playtime, and trips to the dog park. I pay close attention to each dog’s routine and personality so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently doing online school from home and am a stay-at-home mom to my 9-month-old daughter, so I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I live on a farm and take two long walks each day, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and attention. I love being outside and will treat your dog like part of the family while they’re in my care. I make sure each pet stays on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh water, and feedings according to their schedule. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting other dogs. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind.
About: I have four years of professional pet care experience working with a wide variety of animals, including high-energy breeds that need plenty of exercise and older dogs requiring gentle attention. Whether you are away on vacation or just need a daily check-in, I offer reliable house visits for both dogs and cats. I customize my care to match your pet's unique routine, energy levels, and medication needs so you can travel with total peace of mind. I am a Master's student at Tennessee Tech with a highly flexible routine that easily accommodates consistent pet care. Because I manage my own study and research hours, I have plenty of time during the day for midday dog walking, drop-in neighborhood check-ins, and flexible house visits. My weeks are highly adaptable, and my weekends are entirely open for dedicated boarding or overnight sitting. I focus on building trustworthy personal relationships with owners while providing an active, safe environment for their pets. I run regularly and have the energy to perfectly match high-energy breeds, but I am equally experienced and gentle with older dogs and cats who need calm, attentive house visits. Whether caring for a pet in my own home—which includes a safe, covered porch—or looking after them in yours while you are on vacation, I strictly follow your rules for crating, feeding, and routine to keep your best friend safe and comfortable.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
