“Gaye did a great job looking after my cocker spaniel and cat! She easily made friends with both of them, and I will continue to ask her to drop-in visit in the future!”

“Mandi did a fantastic job. Not a single traumatized critter. I can really tell from the pics and my critters’ demeanor, they were cared for lovingly. I cannot recommend Mandi higher! My dog is a teacup who was previously attacked by a pitbull and is weary of new people. Mandi was patient and gentle with Gilbert until she had gained his trust. I am very impressed and pleased with Mandi and will use her again.”

“Cari is always wonderful with Kevin! I never have to worry about him when she takes care of him. 10/10 my favorite sitters on Rover. Thank you Cari!”

“First time using this service and we couldn't be happier. Katherine was wonderful and we knew Pepper was well taken care of. Would definitely use Rover and Katherine again.”

“As always, above and beyond! I have a medically needy old man and added a 3 month old puppy to the mix. Tiffany was amazing with both. Thank you so much!!”

“My dog's loved Zoe from the minute she walked in the door! She is very sweet and kind. She has done a great job with my crew of 4. Highly recommend!!”

“We are glad we found Mary on Rover. We are new to this service, but found that meet and greet was pretty quick to set up then the actual drop-in visit a few days later. She got to play laser with my Shih Tzu and both my dogs seemed to like her and at ease with her. Will definitely book her in the future.”

“Patten was a God send, since I had to pull last minute shifts with the wife being away for work. Daisy took to her so well and she really made sure to keep Daisy company and not just feed her take her out and leave for the day. She truly cared enough to play with Daisy and make sure that she ate all her food before she would take her out. Again cannot be more grateful how helpful and caring she was to Daisy.”

“Rylie made daily visits for my 2 cats over Thanksgiving week and was very attentive with excellent attention to detail. Her communication was superb. Would hire again and recommend to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.”

“I've been with Rover for over a decade and have been on both sides--needing pet care and giving pet care. Deann sets a new standard for care, communication, dependability, knowledge, and being a joy to work with. She was exceptional in every definition. I will be a regular with her!”

“WONDERFUL !!!!!”

About: I’ve had the absolute joy of being a cat and dog lover since birth.I got my first cat at 2, Rodger and had my childhood dog, Elvis, at 6. As an adult I have two amazing cats, Franny and Watts and take care of 14+ cats in the community. I love taking care of senior cats and cats of all need levels. I work a normal 8:30-5 schedule and some weekends. Able to check in the evening and mornings, use to early morning checks and evening hour+ hangs. In my home cats get daily litter scoop, meds, two feedings a day and ample cuddles. I have cats with severe anxiety and require more care. When watching other’s cats I treat them like they are my own and give them all the love they deserve.

About: I have over 25 years of dog breeding experience and I would love to care for your loved ones in our home. Large home and plenty of running room in our spacious yard. I cannot take care of male dogs over 30 lbs due to a female dog in the household. I can take care of female fur babies of less than 30 lbs. I work from home and have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention he or she needs. Taking care of dogs are my specialty. I have a fenced in yard and a female lab who loves to go for walks and play. Your fur baby will have plenty of friends caring for him or her.

About: I treat every animal as if it were my own Either letting a cat sit on my lap until I can’t feel my legs Or training in basic commands and manners To throwing a ball or stick until my arm is numb I love animals and all the fun that goes with it ** I did have to raise my rates due to rovers fee** I have been taking care of animals since I was little but really got into it around 7th and 8th grade Walking peoples dogs and putting up flyers at my local pool I have many repeat clients for over 3 years so many great pups(had to stop because of highschool) I helped a lot of them loose weight from daily 20-30 minute walks I still remember every dog I walked and boarded Nothing has changed except now I work morning shift as a security guard but my wife is home to take care of any dogs kept with us After I’m done with work I then take over with walks and playing in the backyard Everyone will get plenty of water If anyone gets dirty then it’s bath time or at least a good thorough wipe down Your pets will be treated like my own kids while they are being taken care of with the Diamond family After I’m done with work at 2pm I come home and spend all the time I have until bed time with my animals or as I call them my kids Walking playing in the backyard playing fetch and tag and even keep away which never lasts long for me I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys to offer When it’s very hot we do some playing in the yard and then it’s time for a walk and then we take a 45 minute to an hour break for a nap or rest and then we do it all over again All animals should feel welcome in my home and spoiled decently as my animals are All animals that stay with me must have a collapsible crate brought in with them so that nobody gets into anything they shouldn’t at night Night time is crate time as we have cats we let wander at night

“THE BEST PET SITTER AWARD GOES TO EMILY! This was my first time using Rover (for two cats and a dog) and I hit the jackpot by finding Emily! She made it so easy and took all the worry away. From the first meet & greet she was so kind, understanding, knowledgeable and reassuring. She introduced herself to all the animals to ensure they were familiar with her while I was away- a brilliant suggestion and I highly recommend always doing a meet&greet. My dog Ella is challenging to walk and I was so nervous to for anyone walk her as she pulls the leash and is triggered by any type of wildlife (lizards, bunnies, etc) I expressed my concerns to Emily and she suggested going on a practice walk during the meet and greet - another brilliant suggestion that I highly recommend. I was immediately impressed by how patient, kind, and skilled she was at walking Ella, even when Ella saw a bunny and tried to chase it, Emily never wavered. My cat Widget is prone to getting into the trash and has an infinity for trouble which requires an extra level of attention to ensure all doors to be closed, trash locked away, etc. Emily always had Widgets best interest at heart and always ensured that nothing was left out. After the meet & greet I knew my babies were in good hands and I was able to fully enjoy my time alway without any stress because I knew my fur babies were being well taken care of. While I was gone Emily always checked in with me after each visit. She wrote detailed report card about each visit AND took some of the best photos of all my pets! She even went above and beyond to take videos! She took the time to give each animal love and attention- and all my animals loved her too! Even Poppet (my second cat) who is notorious for being extremely shy/not coming out for new people and prone to hiding came out to eat and spend time with Emily after meal time. I was hesitant to use Rover at first but my experience with Emily has made me a believer! I feel at peace knowing that if I need some time away from home I have someone to rely on that cares for my pets just as much as I do. If you need a pet sitter that is kind, communicative, trustworthy, skilled, knowledgeable, and reliable - look no further, Emily is the sitter for you!”

About: Since I was first married, I have owned and cared for pets of all sorts, including cats, dogs of all sizes, dogs and cats with special needs, geriatric pets, blind pets, and parakeets. I am devoted to my own pets and, as an in-home traveling piano teacher, have enjoyed knowing the many pets at the homes of students. I am comfortable giving allergy injections, administering inhalers and dosing animals on medications. I will love your pet as much as I love my own (I have a beautiful 95 pound German Shepherd at present!) I know how special your special pet is to you, and I look forward to meeting and caring for him/her! I teach private piano lessons on some weekday evenings and weekends, but I am available during workdays and afternoons Monday through Friday beginning on 6/13/2025. I give my own German Shepherd Dog daily walks, daily feedings and waterings, weekly medicated baths, and lots of cuddles and petting 24/7! With cats I have owned, I have made sure they have adequate food and water, many opportunities to play with me, and naturally a regularly cleaned and odor free cat box. When I had parakeets, I rotated their toys within their enclosures, fed them quality food, ensured that their water supply and enclosure were always clean and placed their enclosures in a stimulating environment near human activity and natural light. I also talk to birds for their additional stimulation. My sister, who is located nearby in No. Virginia, is a very experienced pet sitter, and I can consult with her if there is any issue for which I need additional information or support to care properly for your pet.

“LilliAna is truly amazing! Communicates well & takes wonderful care of my pets. I am worry free when I know she is coming to check on my babies while I am working.”

“Jeff has been caring for my pets for many years. Animals instinctively understand that he is a safe person who enjoys their company and thinks about their comfort. Whether taking a dog on a walk, playing fetch with a cat, or cleaning a guinea pig cage, he approaches each task with care and joy. Jeff is honest in business; animals trust him and so do people-and for good reason.”
