About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

About: I'm accustomed to feeding, walking, and giving oodles of love to cats and dogs after constantly growing up around animals. I've taken care of big and small dogs, including a range from chihuahuas to the biggest German shepherds I've ever seen. I am used to and comfortable with feeding/watering, walking, playing, cuddling, letting out, and bathing dogs and cats. I am more than happy to welcome your pet with open arms and tons of love! (Updated 9/12/24 6:00pm) Currently, I am available for house-sitting, check-ins and walks from 10am (EST) to 9pm, open all week aside from Friday — I am not available that day as of now. For house-sitting, I can arrive earlier or leave later if requested. I'm flexible and happy to communicate any schedule conflicts, special conditions, or different times. I like to introduce myself to an animal in an open, "hey, I'm here to be nice and friendly, maybe ask you to poop" kind of way, letting them sniff, touch, or watch me for as long as they need to in order to feel comfortable with me. I talk to pets in a calm, soft voice while I care for them, and follow their body language and any meows or barks that mean they may need something. I'm happy to follow any schedule they're accustomed to as well.

I believe in treating each pet as they're my own, & will cater to the needs of your babies!

About: I have taken care of big and small dogs since I can remember. I love meeting new animals and making them feel safe and happy! I am extremely respectful of peoples space and am always early to everything! I have experience giving animals medications as well as dealing with food allergies. I also have experience with senior animals. My parents chihuahua is 20 years old and is also blind/deaf and I am always their first call for a sitter! About: Hi there! My name is Lacy, I've taken care of all different shapes and sizes of pets since I was very young. I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. I have some experience with simple obedience training, such as proper leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, wait & come. About: @ateamdogcare I have been using rover for 6 years now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats who have been with the dogs since they were 3 weeks old. We live on 2 acres with a great fenced in yard. We love hosting pets and will treat them like our own. Im always home so let’s can stay on their normal schedules and have someone around while you’re gone. Feel free to message me with any questions! I also have experience with medications, including injectable ones. When your pup comes to stay with us we ask that you bring; their food, treats, favorite toys/bones, bed or blanket, crate (if you use one), bowls, and a leash. Or anything that might make your dogs stay easier! :)

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since middle school and have over 7 years of experience with pups and cats of all ages and temperaments. As a landscape architecture student at Virginia Tech, I love spending time outside and staying active—whether that means long walks, hikes, or just backyard playtime. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I treat every animal with patience, joy, and genuine care. I currently take classes from 8 in the morning until 12 pm, so I am available from 6-7am and 1-6pm M-F and 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday! I do my best to make your pet feel comfy and cared for, whether I’m hanging out at your place or taking them for a walk. I’ll follow whatever routine you’ve got and use whatever leash or gear you prefer. If your pup needs to be crated at certain times, I’ve got no problem with that—and I’ll make sure they’re settled and relaxed. About: I absolutely love dog and house sitting! I have house and dog sat for up to four dogs at once and been around dogs all my life, there is nothing I'd like to do more! I grew up around lots of dogs and started out my love for dogs early. I continued by getting my own dog and by house and dog sitting for friends and family. I continued to do this throughout college and into my adult life as a counselor, but expanded to house sitting for other people in the area with dogs. I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs and am currently training my dog to walk on a leash and different manners. I've worked with dogs of all types of personalities and love them all!

About: My family farm is the Madd Hatchery in Hubert. It consists of approx. 40+ chickens, 3 dogs, 2 goats, 5 rabbits, and 10 indoor and/or barn felines. I was raised with animals - young, old, and ill or disabled. We adore the "misunderstood." Over a decade ago, I began my own first business - as an Administrative/Personal Assistant & Pet Caregiver. I solely did this from 2011 to 2017 while I was in school. From Kittens to Chickens is my pet care business now. Water plants, collect eggs, get the mail, maybe even leave a few lights on at night to make it look like someone is home to passersby neighbors and cars. What ever you need me to do to make your time away from your fur baby as stress free as possible.
