“Honestly, we aren't sure what we'd do without Emily at this point! Her daily visit has changed Austin's life for the better! He is much happier, calmer, and in such a great mood now!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been around animals my entire life — I grew up in a home with multiple dogs, cats, goats, and more. My love for animals naturally led me to volunteer at shelters and sanctuaries, and before long, friends were regularly asking me to pet sit. That’s what inspired me to offer my services on Rover. From 2023 to 2025, I had 4–5 regular families I consistently sat for. I also helped train my parents’ dog, Ella, during her first six months — all while working remotely. I recently relocated to Conroe, TX in May 2025 and completed month-long sitting stays in June (Texas), August (London), and September (Washington). Starting October 2025, I’ll be settling back down in Conroe and opening up my calendar to help care for your pets — whether it’s for a quick drop-in, daily walks, or extended stays. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I’d love to be a part of your pet’s routine! I work remotely in the finance industry, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week. I’m able to step away throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime — and I already take myself on a few walks a day, so bringing a furry companion along is always welcome! I typically offer house and pet sitting at your home, as that’s where most pets are most comfortable. I may be available for boarding in special cases or local walks if you're nearby in the neighborhood. I take pet safety and comfort seriously — whether I’m staying in your home or caring for your pet in mine. I work fully remote, so I’m present throughout the day and can easily block off time for walks, potty breaks, meals, and quality playtime. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods, and I’ll always stick to the routines they’re used to. I only care for one household at a time to give your pet my full attention and to avoid mixing unfamiliar animals. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your dog or cat feels secure, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.

“I can’t say enough good things about William! From day one, he’s been reliable, professional, and so genuinely caring with our pup. It’s such a relief knowing our dog is in safe, loving hands while we’re away. He goes above and beyond—whether it’s sending photo updates, adjusting to last-minute schedule changes, or just giving our dog the extra attention and exercise she needs. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for peace of mind !”

“I can't recommend Gemma enough to anyone who needs a dog walker. She went above and beyond in every facet. She is very experienced and asked all the right questions to make sure everything was taken care of. The notes she leaves throughout are amazing and you truly feel the love she has for your pets. She even took care of my cat without any hesitation even though I hired her just to walk my dog. She will be the first person I call going forward without a doubt in my mind.”

About: I have been watching over all sorts of fur babies since I was 17, even starting a small independent business in my hometown! I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I am also able to administer medication as needed. Cant wait to help! I work from home and rarely have to go out into the field. When I do, it's for 3-4 hours at most! I have two cats at home who are fine if I need to do an overnight stay. I have two cats, so I prefer to take care of animals outside of my home! Luckily, because I work from home, I am available to look after your fur baby anytime of day.

“Since moving to the area we were really busy with moving and settling our children in that we had been neglecting our 2 pups. We found Mark and our pups are much happier to go on walks around the neighborhood. Mark is always on time and is very communicative regarding when he arrives as well as checking in on the next walk. He asks all the right questions to get to know our pups so that they are understood and comfortable. Would recommend Mark to anyone and we are already looking into having them boarded for an upcoming trip.”

About: Hello! Animals have always been a part of my life—caring for them is second nature to me. I have been pet-sitting since I was 11 and have personally cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, and many other types of animals. I've handled everything from bottle-feeding babies and caring for seniors to administering medications, treating injuries, and comforting anxious or special needs pets. I currently have 8 cats, 3 dogs, and a snake, and occasionally assist strays with food and vet care. I've rescued, fostered, and even volunteered at adoption events for local rescues, and I bring patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of animal behavior to every pet I meet, and I look forward to spending time with your furry family member! According to Rover's policies, couples are allowed to pet-sit together. This being said, my husband Bryan does occasionally assist me with overnight stays part-time for safety purposes. He is also a verified, background-checked Rover sitter, and he's pictured in my photo gallery, as well as a picture of his Rover profile. I have full-time availability, and will be present throughout the duration of your pet's care. I work from home, and I am also currently earning a degree in computer science remotely. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and spaces, keeping things clean, calm, and consistent while providing loving, attentive, and personalized care.
