About: I've had cats my entire life and have had a dog for the last 8 years. Taking care of pets has been a huge part of my life that I've come to love! I especially enjoy going for long walks and getting lots of pet snuggles! I do work during the week I have a very flexible work schedule most days and a lot of free time on most weekends and weekday nights. Your pets safety is my main concern. I understand that our fur babies are just that, our babies. I am a high energy person that loves to care for and play with pets. I'm the type of person that you will find hanging out with the animals at any gathering! I will be open about my availability and will give your fur baby attention and love including play time, pets, and walks, and anything else your fur baby needs to thrive.

About: Dwight and Stu are my current pups, but I grew up around countless pets. As one of the go neighborhood dog sitters I have experience working with a variety of personalities and energy levels. I love the simple activities like walking and playing, but i also know how to slow down and take it easy with older dogs. Working part-time right now allows me to spend time with your pets and I am so excited! I am available weekends and weekdays! I enjoy longer house sitting, but I also love drop ins and walks. I try to care for pets the way the owner would do it. If that means a lot of exercise, I will make it happen!! If that means chilling in the shade and lots of scraches that works too!!

“Alex was so wonderful! I had the misfortune of having failed to plan for care for our dogs for our holiday celebrations which were set for Christmas Eve eve. Then I found rover and pretty much figured I would get no responses and be stuck, but Alex came through with flying colors! We chatted through the app, and then made arrangements for not only the overnight, but she agreed to come earlier to meet the dogs despite having other things she had to go and tend to before my overnight. We found her to be kind and loving and our pitbull, who is fairly finicky about people, took to her immediately. Our home and our fur family was exceptionally well cared for. About: I have grown up my whole life with many different cats and dogs. So I have experience with all sizes of dogs, and all moods of cats. My husbands family raises German shepherds, and I grew up with rescue cats and dogs of all breads! We currently have two cats of our own, but can’t get a dog right now as we are renting our home. I am a teacher, so afternoons/evenings and weekends are my primary availability. During the weekdays I can do drop ins early before school, after school, walks after school, and of course before bed time (after my baby goes to bed). On the weekends I am much more available. We do go to church on Sunday mornings, but I can still go to early morning and afternoon/evening services. For holidays, I am a bit more available as we don’t have school. Because I am renting my home, I cannot do care in my own home yet. Care at your home varies depending on your pet, their needs, and your instructions.

About: Ive had experience of taking care of dogs at bella's house of doodles, potty, play and obedience training. I'm able to play or take dogs for walks and taking care of potty time. Im unemployed for the summer until the school year starts again take go back to working at an elementary school. My schedule is entirely free and only need a day notice for setting up times. I will not be watching animals at my place solely taking care of animals at the owners house or walking around in a close proximity to the house of animal. I'm able to take dog for as long or as short of a walk as the owner wants. I'll feed and water dog or cat at residence and if you don't want the animal to leave house then they won't and I'll care for of the animal were ever you want it to be.

About: Newly single dad of two and one Rottweiler (they all live with mom). Looking for extra income and I’ve been a dog sitter/house sitter for over 15 years in the Twin Cities. I work full time as a church musician so my schedule is extremely flexible. My flexible working schedule can accommodate your pup’s needs. I’m used to multiple walks and feedings during the day. I love spoiling our furry friends and will give them a ton of attention. My neighborhood is near some incredible walking trails and is very quiet in terms of traffic or people being out and about. Fenced in yard. Doggos love it here.

One dog had some inflammation while we were gone and she was great about the sudden change of having to administer medication and give that pup extra exercise. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I love dogs, the larger the better! I have watched dogs for 7 years now. I have looked after dogs from Miniature Poodles to Coonhounds. I have taken care of new born puppies all the way up to senior dogs that are blind. I have taken care of a chow that was super strong and most people couldn't walk her, but I could. I have even helped while my dog gave birth to her puppies. I currently own a Hungarian Vizsla and a Treeing Walker Coonhound they have a ton of energy and needs a lot of attention. I would love to help with your furbaby! I am currently not working and would have a lot of time for watching the dogs and cats. I will give your pet their deserved attention. I have a fully fenced yard and 2 dogs to keep your fur baby company. And can crate either mine or your baby if needed.

About: I started taking care of colleague's pets in 2006 and regularly cared for 4 households' pets including, a German Shepherd, black lab, poodle, and multiple cats. I also volunteered at the Humane Society in AZ for a few years with the adoptable cats at PetSmart, cleaning their cubbies, litterboxes, and helping with socialization. I continued petsitting after finding an ad on Craigslist for a family in my area and watched their home while they traveled over the summer (for 3 years), taking care of their plants, mail, and two dogs - a husky and a greyhound. I would walk them and feed them twice a day, shop for chicken legs at the owner's request, and administered multiple medications in pill form to the husky. They introduced me to their neighbors and I watched their home when they would travel and fed and cleaned up after their English Bulldog and Yorkie at least two times a day. I also watched a friend's senior dachshund regularly when they went out of town. In Phoenix I housesat for a colleague and her partner on multiple occasions and they had 4 dogs and 2 cats. I would stay the night there to feed and care for the animals and keep an eye on the house. I simply left for work and then went there immediately after. I grew up with cats and now have 2 pets of my own, a 5-year-old pug named Bo and a 2-year-old munchkin cat named Elliot. I moved back to MN in 2020. In the fall of 2020, I helped my sister care for a family friend's hobby farm which had goats, sheep, donkeys, cats, dogs, ducks, and chickens. We mucked out the barn every day and hosed out the stable area, let the chickens out in the morning and locked them in the coop at night, fed all of the animals, moved a fence most days for the donkeys and some of the larger animals to roam outside of the regular fenced-in area. I also traveled to Champlin to watch a German shepherd and stayed there while the family went on vacation a few times. Over the Christmas holiday in 2022, I watched a friend's Vizsla/Lab mix who is 11 and took care of things around her house. I fed the pup twice a day and visited midday to take her out and spend time there from anywhere between 30 minutes to a few hours. She would then spend the night with me at my home. I took care of the mail, ran water so the pipes wouldn't freeze, cleaned up after the dog, etc. Watching an animal made me realize how much I missed pet sitting and wanted to start doing it again. I currently work from home on weekdays, which makes it easy to help a few times a day, before and/or after work, and leaves my weekends wide open. I work from home, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. I am able to take breaks and a lunch as needed. My weekends are open. I have a fenced backyard and my pup is friendly. I would prefer watching animals in your home and caring for them there. They are typically more comfortable and we don't have to worry about how they will interact with my dog and cat. Walking, feeding, administering medication, assisting with household duties, etc., are all within reason and things I'd be happy to assist with. I have done these things for multiple families and households in my neighborhood.
